I want my aftermarket battery with warranty that I left in the trade-in vehicle! The factory battery is decent...but no warranty. The other battery had at least 800 Cold Crankin Amps. That comes in handy. WOW! Now you reminded me that by not looking under the hood, I also did not check to make sure my Engine Block Heater was there! Those dealership bastards had the 10A sitting outside looking all seductive to get me off balance! But I had the punch list in hand. I just forgot my own punch list. And this was after I was 10 miles down the road and realized I left my Husky Liners in the traded vehicle(I turned around and drove back and got those bad boys). For the price of gas, I guess I'll just buy a nice battery when/if I need it. The block heater should do nicely next winter. Or tonight since its back down to the 30s!

one more thing....

i really have to hand it to the Jeep designers. I really dont think i'd change a thing on this, well that ^ 10A. Anvil is truly exceptional and really makes this edition special. if only they would dump the rest of their Anvil stash and never use it again

Cant wait to hop in mine.

Welcome Distributing Handles FAIL on 10A!!!!!!!

Well I went from "Helllllll Yeah here she is!!!!! What a BEAST, love this monster!"

to.......

Yep I was excited to put in my new Welcome Distributing handles and this is what I found when I went to unbolt the "2" 13mm bolts...... "1" 13mm bolt and one of those God-forsaken screw pop panel rivet things...

And to make matters worse behind that damn pop rivet there is no threading so there is no way to install the welcome distributing handles. FREAKING JEEP!

Thanks Chitty, I think we have pretty good taste. It's a quick cell phone pic, the 10A was in the shade, sun was setting but still fairly bright. I really like the color, didn't know what to expect after Anvilgate.

Well, that sucks. I just checked, and I have bolts in top position and screw in bottom on both sides.

Also noticed while taking my front bumper ends off that this bumper is different then the press shots bumper. This one has 2 large T50 bolts on the front of the bumper as well as 2 on every other side. All press 10A's only had 2 on top that you could see and the spots in the front where mine has bolts, it has none.

The front tow hooks are also like a crinkly rough painted red in the press shots but on all the production models they are gloss red.

Feel for you... A 50k jeep should be perfect. Anyway, reminds me of Caveman's post about how one of his holes wasn't tapped all the way...pause.

Sure does look good though.

Looks like quality control is going down with the combination of new hires and ramped up production.

Hope I am wrong but these problems are popping up here and we are just a small population of 10A owners. Wonder what other issues are out there.

How do we already have a punch list of problems to look out for... at DELIVERY!!!

CHRYSLER! JEEP! FIAT! TAKE NOTICE!!!

Wrong knobs, wrong plates, cracked hardtops, bad paint, missing bolts, surface rust, leaky dashboards, missing threads?! What's next?

kberry1, My wife and I were at the dealer on Saturday picking up our White 10A and met your wife while she was picking up yours. I had a chance to take a few pictures with both of our 10A's together. Anvil looks great so I'm sure you will love it. There were quite a few people looking our jeeps and taking pictures. We got a lot of great compliments!!

I picked up my 10A today. I used the defect checklist from the spreadsheet. Everything was great no quality issues. First drive was so awesome. I love this new Jeep!!

Pictures in post above.

I stand corrected. It's late and I was stupid. Thanks to another member that pointed out that the only bolt needed removing on the A pillar is the top one, the 2nd bolt is up by the sun visor.

Cool to see everyones feedback on ordering their 10a. this is my 1st sp order and even though the wait sucks its cool to hear everyone so excited about getting theirs. curious to hear how many on this forum are from michigan and if anyone takes on the st. helen or kalkaska area trails. i got the non bcc email so at least early to mid may before mine gets here but would be cool to hear on how many other michiganders are getting a 10 a and what color... so i know whether or not ill see a twin to mine soon ( black/ red 2 door)

I stopped by my dealer today and found out my 2-door Anvil/red was unloaded from the train today in Benicia, CA. It will be the first 10a delivered to my dealer in the next few days! Got the paperwork done, and all was as expected - they honored the price on 1/21 when I ordered, pre-$200 price increase.

I was quoted the Lifetime Maxcare at around $2250 and first 60k maintenance plan (every 5,000 miles) at $1200....since I have never owned a Jeep before it's hard for me to gauge the value of these plans. Any advice from experienced Jeepers on these?

I am so excited to finally see my 10A! They flagged it as a high priority delivery so it should be on the first truck from Benicia.

When did your 10A actually ship? And where in Cali are you? trying to gauge when mine will get here... Did you ever hit KZN?

Wow. Lol.

I guess my 10A could be anywhere. After reading Espada's and VoodooCat's posts I drove by my dealer earlier this evening just to make sure mine wasn't there...
