In the Truck Trend article, referencing the rear bumper "It also has mounts for accessories such as a spare fuel tank, Hi-Lift jack, Pull-Pal, large reverse lamp, shovel, and even a CB antenna."

Could those be some of the "surprises"? Eh? Eh? Hehe

Hey guys, i wanted the 730 versa 430 NAV, but noticed on the paperwork we somehow got it wrong. Will the dealer be able to make this upgrade without problems, i just ordered yesterday?

Hopefully so, but I would call right away and have them change it before the order gets to a status where it can't be changed. Doing it after the fact requires a couple harnesses and some other stuff, so I would make sure it's right from the factory.

I wouldn't worry too much about the 430 if you also ordered the connectivity package. From the description in the windows sticker (or Jeep's website) the 730 claims to have voice recognition and BT, NAV, etc. which is exactly what the 430 lacks, now description of the connectivity package.....bottom line you got the same as the 730 and saved $200.

Again I'm going by specs from Jeep.

I have the 730 in my '13 JKU. I had it in my 08 JKU and preferred it over the 430. The 430 uses the Garmin map which looked really faded and washed out compared to the MOPAR map in the 730. My wife and the kids thought something was wrong with the screed clarity. Also, the voice connect on the 730 allows you to get directions, change songs, and things like that WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. The previous generation and the 430(I think) restrict the touchscreen(except music option) while the vehicle is in motion.

4 door; I bought a 2 door sport and wife never missed a chance to needle me for it. If it where just us 2 I could have endured but, I have teenagers (whom loved the back btw); and I live in Minnesnowta so, wife refuses to get out first when its cold. And for my big finish...wait for it, you can't no way no how get in from the drivers side in a 2 door unless your kid is a small horse jockey or gymnist or both. My 2 cents.

Freedom front grill on Anvil color...

Anyone else think it would be worth seeing a Freedom Edition grill on an Anvil colored 10A for the contrast or, not? Just dreaming about my new Jeep hobby...bored waiting.

I am buying the 730N because its functionality most closely approximates what I had in my 2009 TL SH-AWD. Notable similarities include the breadcrumb and dead-reckoning features I had in my old car, and found to be SUPER useful.

Just contact the dealer and get it corrected (in writing) if you want it. Don't "trust" that it will get handled down the road without it in writing.

Or...rock the 430N if you have connectivity, but you do lose dead-reckoning and such.

Thanks for input guys. I got to the dealer this am and they had not placed the final order yet so i'm good to go with the 730N, AND HAVE the new paperwork in hand. When talking about the connectivity the package already has it, right? I ordered the Unlimited 4 door 10A.

Has anyone found any 10A pictures with the front bumper end caps on? I've only seen one, it's in the brochure that can be downloaded from Jeep.com and it's not a good pic.

New guy, new order

I placed the order Tuesday the 15th.

JKUR
Billet
Red Leather
Auto
Auto temp control
Dual top/black
Black fenders
Side airbags
Smokers group
Max tow
4:10
430 radio

Now I'm waiting for the info from Pat so I can get the winch set-up ordered for it.

The other thing I'm waiting to find out is if the front bumper mounts similar to the standard Wrangler bumper or like the COD/AEV bumper. Hopefully it's the same as one of those or I'll have another long wait. I tow behind an RV so if the bumper is similar to one of those, then towbar base plates are already available. If not then I'll be waiting for that to happen.

Had Von when I ordered it, recieved e-mail and Vin on Wednesday.

No info on the winch price or number yet. Pat posted a few pages back that he would have the info on it soon. Patiently waiting, you can't beat having an inside source for information like you do here on this forum.

Or you could order them (tubeless) from AEV

Did you put down a deposit? My closest dealer wants $500 and after ordering two vehicles previously, I have never put down a deposit. Its not like the 10A is gonna sit on his lot forever waiting to sell!

I left a $1000 check. But I wanted to leave a deposit that way I know the vehicle will be reserved for me. Plus it will go toward the down payment anyway.

Even outside of the 10A it has been standard practice for Jeep dealers to take a deposit before an order.
