I did hit 21-22 mpg in the summer time with my 2012. My 2010 wasn't very good. I think the best I got on that was 16mpg. That's why I traded up and got the 2012 with the new motor. It is better. I agree no one buys these things for the mpg's. with that said it is sweet to hit in the 20's with a wrangler.

Ours must be on the same line.. I got an E-Status this morning and a ship of tomorrow. I doubt if the ship date will hold, but there is light at the end of the Anvil Tunnel....

Captain K, you out there??

Have you gotten any updates from your dealer regarding delivery date?

I have a feeling our 10As are on the same train.

Thanks
4.10s and 35's are in that sweet spot for fuel efficiency, of course the lack of fun it may have had before.
Yes, RIPP may be the answer....lol

I have been in contact with them already as my pickup is about to be RIPP'd and looking to do it for this as well.
Considered the AEV HEMI conversion, but its $$$

Really like the Teraflex tire carrier as it keeps the wheel centered. With the 10A bumper, am able to put it on the lowest position (stock 32") which gives excellent visibility from the rear window.
Looks awesome! Do you have clearance issues on turning? I love the factory wheels but I'm on the fence about getting AEV wheel and new tires as a set instead of just new tires.

Where did you pick up the teraflex carrier?

Again, Looks awesome. For a second I had buyer remorse about ordering painted fenders. You've made me a happy camper with your pictures!

That's good MPG!
Unfortunately I have the auto and only came with 3.73
I will try it for a few fills before swapping to 4.10/4.56 or 488 when lifting (2.5") and 35's

Thoughts on gears to tires?
This will be my daily driver.

Thanks M3roar.

I don't have any turning clearance issues but have 1.5" spacers. The Teraflex tire carrier was picked up from Rebel Offroad. They had a good price and free shipping.

Does anyone have experience or a link to another thread regarding the interior of the roof? I ordered a Black/Red 10A, is the interior roof white? What are the options to make it black, sound insulation, headliner, etc.?

Just 87, cheap stuff. Might experiment with higher octane next fill up though. I may be young but I drive like I'm 93 and have 20/200 vision lol.

Yes its white. Mopar has headliners that just came out. I might go that route or just get a custom alcantara headliner.

I would put in 87 octane only if that's what the manual says, there is no benefit to running higher octane on an engine that does not require it.

Better mileage usually.. ran it in my YJ when I was moving out to FL from AZ.. got halfway across texas and started having fuel filter problems, ran 91 Octane the rest of the way (tried to use shell vpower stuff as much as I could) and didn't have many issues after that, and I noticed about 1-3 mpg increase.

I would wager you had some unclean fuel. Not all fuel is created, stored equally. Higher octane prevents knock, I would also wager that if you would have used 87 from the same station, you would get better mpg as well. On vehicles that have a tune, programmers can advance timing to get better HP gains. But this is my opinion and you know what they say amount them

^^^^^ THIS ^^^^

It is a waste of money to burn higher octane than required!
