Tallguy, critter, chiringuito, kJean, and q10A we are the only anvil, black, manual, 2doors on the spreadsheet. There are 6 of us. If that sample holds true there should only be about 150-170 in existence. Not bad

Black leather interior is a option? Didn't see that on Jeep.com.

What is the spreadsheet? Newbie?

Been using jeep.com to look at options and build price and such.

Yeah, I figure it will be rare....nowadays most folks buy 4 door (not me NO way! LOL), second the vast majority, probably 90% buy automatics (not me NO way! LOL). Third the black is going to be rarer than the red, because of the early limitation on black and also because the red had lots of interest because it is something different and new in a Wrangler. However, combine the three factors above and....yep ours will be a rare combo. I really LOVE the all black with the Anvil, besides it's a Jeep and for me the red was a tad out of place. I do love red interiors in sports cars though, especially in a silver or grey exterior. For me the Red with the Billet will be the best looking 10A with red leather.

But overall I just hope folks enjoy what they chose and purchased as it's a lot of money to spend on a vehicle.

Critter

Oh one more thing....I think the rarest of all 10A's will be any two door that is built with the 1/2 doors.... those are so chosen very rarely now days. I won't be surprised if it is under 10 out of all production.

My '05 Grand Cherokee had the same issue... It had a fuel capacity of 20.8 gallons, but the fuel gauge would be bottomed out at 17.8 gallons. I guess this is just a Chrysler thing. Either they don't know how to calibrate a fuel gauge or they are very generous with the fuel reserve.

Beautiful! As of an hour ago I have a carbon copy in my garage!!!!! The ONLY bad news is that this 10A is a birthday present for my wife, so her new 10A Rubicon will sit in the garage with just 8 miles on her until my wife returns from China in three weeks. The temptation to go drive it is almost unbearable!!!

SurpriseStraps.com will make any combo you desire, and it's well done.

Edit:^^^ Apparently like minded. I installed my set last weekend, and they are great quality.

I just looked at the prices. $44 for woven cord grab handles!?!?
I'm definitely making these myself unless Megan Fox delivers them to my door, crawling on all fours and wearing a paracord dog collar, carrying the straps in her teeth.

May have been asked and asnwered somewhere in the massive thread, but how long on average from order date till the first email from Jeep? (Is that the D stage that I hear people talking about?) Reason I ask is I just spoke with the dealer, and they said I should see an email for my order in about a week. Does that seem right or am I getting my hopes up too early? Ordered 4/19. Thanks.

Took me about a week to get the first email and move into D. Things will probably go fast for you, because they are trying to move the 10a's out.

Billygoat/cdwright; thanks, I can much appreciate short, and to the point.

Roxxxstr; Yeah Baby, u know the shiz when u feast your eyes upon it! I am feverishly fired up to see your pics..

Fab; I too toiled over the fender choice, as I too will be wheeling this bee-ach. My plan is to get it high enough in the air to avoid any accidental fender-smash courtesy of a wheel, and if it cracks by some other act of gawd....well, I guess I'll have to buy some bushwhackers.

Aeshylus; Even tho you are absent 2 doors, I would indeed love to see pics of your new beast. Please help satisfy my craving.

Maxum_101; They have been the whole time. You just need to know the right dealer and be his friend. My dealer is my friend because I have bought a half dozen vehicles from him over the last 8yrs, including 2 Vipers.

You should be able to log in now. The dealer should give you an order sheet with a VON (Vehicle Order Number) on it. You should be able to look it up by this and your last name.

Are you at Norfolk? There are going to be a few 10a's in HR.

it was just some bronie stuff. Not my cup of tea, but to each his own. I do like me some internet meme references though.

By the way today's hotdog day was a great success. Chilli was spicy today. Bad gas now.

Tried to log into VOTS, but no go, got VON just now, tried to log on, but wasnt able to at this time, said "last name or VON" not correct, I am thinking it might take a day or so to update in thier system.

I am not at Norfolk currently, but will be later in the year. At this rate, I am hoping to be one of those 10A's in the area...

The brand is called Tuff. They call them off road wheels, but I had never seen them before. They have several models including one with red on the rim edge.
Thinking I might find a way to dupe the little red Jeep onto them!
