It works. Forgot the mention the 1.5" spacers that allow it to.

Spacers or wheel adapters?
Hubcentric?
I'm guessing yes. Where did you get it from?

But puttin 35"s on the stock wheels is not recommended per specs? I'm not taking any chances with "my" baby...... Most notable tire places will not do it...... But it looks good! Good luck!

Looks awesome. I have the black powder coated version on order. Should go nicely with the BMF M-80's in Death Metal Black!

How much lift did the 2.5" AEV actually give you? I was been planning on doing that exact same lift myself, but after hearing the 10A came with 1.5" taller springs was starting to question if the money would be worth it for only 1" of lift over stock. Now cannot decide between that lift and just doing the AEV spacer lift. The spacers will guarentee 2" over stock, the spring one is unknown at this point. But hopefully you can answer this, as the guy I spoke with at AEV before I received mine could not.

Jeep is involved with my dealer and is now fixing paint issues on my Jeep. Senior Execs are involved and showing direct interest. They seem to be sincere to fix and trouble areas, which has made the experience more positive than it was. Also, my dealer has been incredibly supportive in fixing the issues first, so I confident the the initial factory issues will be fixed by the end of next week. :-)

I'm sorry about that buddy. I don't know how I did that with the picture and I can't get it off. I guess just considered it a compliment.

Stock 10A vs stock 2013 Sahara. Not sure if its 1.5 but its certainly taller and the tires on the 10A have a smaller diameter then the Sahara's.

For everyone that wants a very large and detailed owners manual just call IAMJEEP after you take delivery. They will not process it until then. I got mine in a week. I also got a detailed manual on the 730N system, as well as a warranty book (i didn't ask for) all in the same mailing.

I was reading in the owners manual about a four digit pin for the Sentry key the dealer is supposed to give you at purchase. I wasn't given this to my knowledge. Is this something the dealer can recall electronically? I looked on the purchase order and other paperwork associated with the Jeep and haven't found anything yet. Where would it have been?

After the first week of ownership and 350 miles oner, loving it....mid 14's, mostly around town if i really baby it. Only complaint i wish they had made a tighter tolerance on the hood extractor pieces as every piece of airborne debris seems to stick out of the edges, etc., a pain to get out. Ha, glad this is my only gripe. Glad they are working with you Hammer, your situation is really a bummer and we all feel bad for you.

Well, I did notice on my black hardtop one section (up high, on top thankfully) that has several very small white spots which i assume is where they didn't get 100% paint coverage? It's so trivial i'm not even going to pursue, but will show them tomorrow just in the event they become larger down the road.

FAP, is this manual larger than the one that was in binder that was in glove compartment?

Plenty of threads out there with people who say it works just fine and have encountered no problems. The shop here didn't hesitate and they one of the biggest custom and collision shops in Texas.

Still in love with my 10A! Put some highway miles on her today and the ride is so much better than my 2010 JK. Not sure how they did it but it's impressive!

She drives by herself, if she eats up the trails like she flies down the road, I may have to retire sooner than I planned so we can have more quality time together!! :-)

BG the manual you recieved with the Jeep is more of a quick start guide with the basics. If you call IAMJEEP and request it (you'll need the last 8 of you VIN) there is a "full" printed owners manual which is over 2 inches thick. It gives much more detail and in depth instructions on everything. It includes many things not in the manual you recieved at delivery. Also there is a very detailed print manual for the infotainment if you purchased the 730 or 430, so ask for it at the same time. If you work on your Jeep at all yourself it's a must have.

One of the first on here to receive their 10A had done some comparisons with a tape measure and posted the pics and measurements a while back. Do not recall the name or exact post number.

JK veteran folks - what's been your guys experience on wrangler paint holding its original form over a few years? Most cars generally in last 5+ yrs the paint almost doesn't get oxidized or lose its luster ever. Hopefully that's the case with jeeps too!

Is this version bigger/different than the downloadable version?

How difficult is the install? You have to remove the grill which means most likely I would scratch it up.

My 2004 TJ's red paint looked good after 8 years, except for dings and chips from off roading. I waxed it routinely though. I assume Jeep didn't cheapen up the paint or clear-coat for the JK. There was no noticeable fading, haze, oxidation, and minimal swirl marks. It looked really good.

I'd wash my TJ it really well after off roading and when ever it started to look really dingy. It rains here several times a week (think Seattle without the cool culture) so it varies depending on your weather, dust, salted roads etc. I'd also look to see if the water was still beading. Most people probably over wax their vehicles, but I probably went too long between some waxings. I'd just use your judgement. The big thing for me was making sure that the underside was really clean after driving in the muck. I never had any rust issues other than the normal stuff (driveshafts, etc), or squealing brakes and they lasted 100K miles.
With billet or white, the paint should be idiot proof. With black you have to be really careful with technique or you get bad swirl marks. Red is also a difficult color. I'm curious if Anvil will be a difficult color. Grey is usually easy, but Anvil looks fairly dark. Its also flat, so I'm not sure if it will be swirl prone or show defects, tar, bugs, etc. I'm going to treat it with kid gloves for at least a while.
