I was on the Canadian Jeep website looking at a Dune color sample and saw something interesting. On their home page, they have a pic of a Rubicon in Crush and it has the same rims as the 10 th Anniversary edition. Do the Rubicons going to Canada get the rims with the darker center or is the web page not correct? I like the rims so hopefully they are going to Canada and therefore not restricted to the 10A.

No luck here in toronto area. Kinda suck that canada is always 10 steps behind . Let me know if you find a dealer who can order one and ill do the same.

Since it is the 10A, I might be willing to put down $100. Even if I didn't follow through on the deal, that 10A wouldn't last 3 days on the dealer's showroom floor.
That was 6 years ago that you didn't need to put a deposit down. The system may have changed. Some dealerships will refund you the full $500 if you don't follow through.

I wouldn't read anything into it. If you'll notice, it says: "2012 model shown." No Jeeps had those wheels in any color for 2012. Likely a photoshop.

If you look under the specs, it says: "17-inch polished aluminum wheels with mineral grey pockets." Same as U.S. Rubicons.

Hey Doc, here's the link that contains that particular photo and a ton of other Anvil shots. Many of which, I'm sure we've seen before however. I posted it two days ago.

On the jeep 10a JKUR site, they list the top options as:
- Premium Soft Top or optional Black Spackle Freedom Top® Hardtop (or available Body-Color Freedom Top® Hardtop)
If you order the black duel top, do you get the Black Spackle Freedom top?

I ordered my 10a yesterday. Dealer required a $2000 minimum down payment before he would place the order. They stated it was because they have been burned several times with custom jeep orders and the jeeps sat on their lots for several months before selling.

In bright light it will look brighter ,in the shade obviously it will seem darker, you can't capture the color in your mind because it doesn't always exist that way. Like the Sienfeld episode with his girlfriend with different lighting but in this case either light, anvil looks good. I do believe, in the shade, that you may see that darker color, you are thinking of.

I just noticed that the New England Auto Show is this weekend...why they would schedule it at the same time as the Detroit show is weird.....but anyone know if they are showing the 10a's there?

I think anvil is going to be one of those great colors that will look different depending on the light and kind of light which is great. And it will even look different to each person depending on how their color perception works. I just couldn't justify getting this special Jeep with any other color, I think they nailed this one on the head!

Couldn't wait. Went with a new rubi in black. Wish I could have waited and got a 10A with all you guys. Good luck and I can't wait to see all the cool 10As!

That is a real let down. I am willing to bet that it also means no 10A at the DC autoshow too.

Any of you guys planning mods yet? I know the wheels will get changed on mine, I hate these wheels but love the rest of the package.

Also adding an M&G tow braking system for use behind an air brake equiped motorhome, along with the Mopar 82211156AB wiring harness for the light hook-up.

Maybe a few other things that I'm researching.

Might powder coat the chrome on the wheels red and see how that turns out. Besides that probably a lift and some 35's and AEV's tire carrier

I'm researching the teraflex pre-runner lift to go with 33's myself. This with the Fox shocks should make for alot of fun on back roads and washes.

From what i hae seen on the forums, and in person, the stock headlights are an absolute joke. I am going to buy some LED headlights ASAP.
