I googled my VIN and I was able to view it. Also see it listed at my dealer but it too has vanished from their sight.

( dumb move, I know ) so now I've been looking into AEV's 3.5inch lift kit and 35inch tires. Seems like I really would NEED 4.10s. Or do any of you veterans think I'll survive with the 3.73?
I've run 35s with 3.73 and 4.10 and there really isn't much of a difference with this new engine and tranny in an auto to b honest. Even with the crawl ratio. You may notice more when towing a big load. You need to move to 4.56s and up to really feel an extra umph.

You also feel a big difference moving from the 3.21 to 3.73. Makes sense when u do the math, more of a numerical leap. Those 3.21 make even this new engine sluggish.

Yep, they realize the profit they could make and KNOW that you will NOT walk away from the 10A. But at least act like you worship the ground it crawls over!

Nice! What manufacturer lift did you get?

My sales guy was also kind enough to retain my windshield sticker. These little things turn into big things down the road, with regards to being collectable.

FNugly; 4 sure bud, just let me know when.

The Body colored hood does not make much of a difference from the sides or front on a Black Beast like mine, but you really see the difference from the rear. Much more finished look IMO. Has me considering...should I get my paint guy to do the fenders and rear view mirrors....

Thank You! You are right it is a good looking rig! I am really enjoying this Jeep!

The black exterior trim and black interior coupled with Anvil are awesome! The bumpers are nicely done and way more sturdy than I had expected. The interior is comfortable, especially for a true Jeep (SWB). Being a guy who has driven Jeeps from the CJ years up until now I can confidently state that this is the cost comfortable Jeep to date.

Those of you still waiting are going to love it!

Estimated Build Numbers

CAVEAT: based solely on the data in the spreadsheet.

So I had too much time on my hands, and not wanting to spend any(more) money on a vehicle I don't have yet I set about playing with the spreadsheet data...

Numbers on the pie are extrapolated over a 7000 total build, numbers to right of key are actual numbers from the 10A sheet.

Wild you mind sharing the part #s for the Nav-TV that you bought?

I checked my 10A status today, and it changed from KZ (Shipment) to KZT (Second Rail Departure.) Yeah! ... even though I don't know what does it mean.

... Sorry for my novice question, what exactly does KZT (Second Rail Departure) mean? I am located in California.

Thanks.

Means it left Chicago.

The westbound vehicle go to a rail yard outside Joliet, IL. I believe this is the demarcation between CSX and BNSF that service SE(maybe NE too) and wester US respectively.

Billy, dealer said 5/13, IAMJEEP states 5/14. It will have to travel by boat from Washington state to Alaska so I get to wait a week. Sooner the better!

Thanks very much!

I left a message at my dealer this evening, asking if they would know an estimated arrival day of my 10A. Hopefully, my 10A will arrive California in a week or so, I hope

Yeah, which is odd because if you shipped it yourself, it would be like a couple grand or so since it goes by barge. Fingers crossed that all will be well during her journey!

Mitchell, congrats!

I finally got it! Called I am Jeep and they had no idea where it might be. Called the dealer after they opened and they thought it might come today but weren't sure. Finally at 2pm got the call that it was in and asked me when I wanted to pick it up, I said today!

Thanks Billy Goat, I thought this day would never come. Drives like a dream, this new engine likes to see some high rpms to make the power. Can't wait to get it into 4lo and see how it acts then. Just getting it home I already have 200 hundred miles on it now.

My 10A is set to arrive next month. I live in the Great White North and have heard the stock tires suck on ice and snow. I'm looking at swapping out the tires (and possibly wheels) for a better year round choice. I wouldn't mind going larger to 33's or 35's. What do you recommend for a Jeep rookie? Any issue of tires rubbing without having to do a lift?
