Thanks.
I think we are on the same train because IAMJEEP said my 10A left Kansas yesterday (4/29) and I'm in California also but my VOTS still says KZO for a week! What's the deal with this? At least they're saying it should be delivered to the dealer by 5/7. That would make it exactly 7 weeks from order date to delivery on a Black/Red.

Mine was finally was given a reprieve from "I" status purgatory and is supposed to be at my dealer in the next few days.

Very much looking forward to this ~3 month odyssey coming to an end ... so the real one can begin.

Cool Steve,
There is data available from this forum page as well:

Don't know how that sampling would affect #'s on your chart.

That's great news Aeschylus! I think that leaves mine as the last one in this thread still in "I".

It may that yours was already released and just waiting to be shipped.

It took about 3 business days (5 counting the weekend) before my status was updated relative to the day it was actually released.

Thanks for the response.

Thanks Guideplan and HD, yes the wait was worth it. I guess getting the stick was what made it take so long. By the time I got home from the dealer and showing the family what I have been waiting on it was dark so didn't get to try out the 4x4 yet. Can't wait to get off work today and take it for a test run.

Well i went from d1 status to shipped overnight. I ordered my 10a 3 weeks ago. I can not believe the fast turn around. Very excited, especially after hearing how much those of you that all ready have gotten yours have raved about them. Im in okla, but ordered mine through a dealer friend near houston.

Unlimited - black hard top and fenders - billet with red leather - all adds - using tread lightly to get the 1% below invoice price. This gives me a good deal but also allows him to make a little money.

Awesome! So how did you verify? IAMJEEP or VOTS?

Any issue of tires rubbing without having to do a lift?
For all terrains in narrow 33s (285/70r17) and 35s research the Duratracs
For narrow 34s (285/75r17), options are limited but I suggest researching the Toyo Open Country 2

Side note, if you want to have your review camera always displayed (rather than just in reverse) you'll need to buy a longer power cord to solder to the AV Harness, mine was only long enough to route it to the tail light.

I followed this guys step by step instructions on how to remove the dash:

NavTV has great customer service. Literally minutes after I placed my order they emailed me to make sure I ordered the correct one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived Thursday morning. Nothing but good things to say about them!

I went with 285/70R17 Duratracs on AEV Pintlers (4.5 backspacing), and I couldn't be any happier with them. No rubbing issues, and they really improved the road handling. We had snow last week in Denver, and the KM2's were all over the place whereas the Duratracs were great. My only concern with the Duratracs are their poor sidewall protection - we'll have to see how that goes.

As for the Toyos, they're a great choice, but their sizing was limited. Also, be careful of their extra weight, as it's significant. I'd be hesitant to put a Toyo Open Country 34 or 35 on the stock tire carrier.

Rausch Creek trip

Would any of you in the north east be interested in a Rausch Creek Off Roading 101 class Rausch Creek Off Road Park in the next few weeks? I am not associated with them in any way. However they do lend us a lot of help and assistance in the off road aspect of our All Truck Nationals Carlisle Events Truck Nationals. Experience The Cars. The People. The Excitement. here in PA. I contacted them in regards to getting an education on getting the most out of my new 10A. We are trying to work and the details and possible dates now. I was just thinking if any other 10A's wanted to join the party it might be fun.

If you might have interest in hearing the details when it does come together just send me an email to Bill3@CarlisleEvents.com . Again I am not looking to profit on any of this. I am just curious to know if anyone else would have an interest.

So far I have signed up for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, Topless for TATAS and I have my big CO trip coming up soon.

Oh ya I put 110 miles on the ride since yesterday and I love it

grab handles

Hi all,

I just talked to I AM Jeep about my missing grab handles, got nowhere! Imagine that! I was wondering of those of you who did get the grab handles could you tell me the part number and what the package is labeled? I want to call back with more info on hand.

Mine is a 2 door by the way....I figured they'd send two.

Thanks,

Critter

Pretty sure grab handles only come w/ the unlimiteds, not the 2-door.
Edit: you should have received a clothes hanger though

A few days ago I enquired on the site here and some of the 2 door guys said they got two. I don't really know what's right! LOL
