First post.

Announcing my accepted and paid for order- Unlimited anvil/red, 730, 4.10, auto and max tow.

Will be built this week and should be in Germany Aug-Sep, no worries I'll be in Afghanistan until Nov.

Luckily no VOTS access yet, so I'll be sane for a few more days.

Good news though Exchange New Car Sales has a $2750 rebate.

A gunny in Germany?!? How is this possible? Kidding, only made it to corporal after 5 years. If we are talking about the same thing, Semper Fi.

Post about snow tires, can you run studs? I plan on keeping the same size tires but getting a dedicated set of studded winter tires.

Posts on jeep grab handles, I don't know how that works, I know a guy locally that received a set with his 4door Rubicon. They are the standard 2 velcro kind and he said they were not very good. Being the biggest Asian I know (aside from sumos), I bought a pair from welcome distributing. Solid steel, if I break those, I will need to consider muscle reduction surgery lol.

Man, Jeep is pumping these out of the factory!

It would be nice to see Archer Ace say something on here. Also thanks again to Pat for his insight. Class act.

Help! I have a chance to buy some Dick Cepeck DC1 wheels (3.75" offset) with center caps. 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern at a great price, other than the bolt pattern being different (i can fix that with adaptors) will the 15" wheels fit over the brake rotors?

Have a question, that I know has been asked before. I have read every post in this entire thread while waiting on my 10A. I have it now. It's great , I love it. So here is my question? I don't care for the stock rims. Want to change for the AEVS, 17x8.5, they have a 5.2 inch backspace. I don't want to lift, but I want to put on larger tires. How large a tire can I put on with no issues, 285s, 295s?

Thanks

I will confirm that the grab handles are for unlimited. I have a 2 door and did not get handles. got a clothes handle. dealer said jeep said only 4 doors get handles.

Edit: you should have received a clothes hanger though

ordered a winch today, now play waiting game again on release of winch plate. You figure all this should have been available prior to release of 10a,or don't advertise it :bangh ead:

X1Million!

Those two guys are straight up the primary reason I kept my sanity early on in this process. Plus they helped me know what to do to even place my order! Miss the presence of both of them!

p.s. - didn't mean to threadhog. In hindsight I guess I should have multi-quoted... Ooops.

One of my favorite publications is Overland Journal and I just saw this posted over on Expedition Portal - very cool write-up on our 10As!

2013 Overland SUV of the Year: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary

At least they're saying it should be delivered to the dealer by 5/7. That would make it exactly 7 weeks from order date to delivery on a Black/Red.
Hoping mine is still enroute alongside yours so I can pick it up on May 10th.

I did not lift and I am running 305 x 70 x17 or 34x12.50x 17 I have not rubbed anything, but I have not disconnected sways. I think it will still be ok when I disconnect. I am I don't know about your back spacing, I am using 4.75" back spacing.

Has anyone posted the 10A spring PNs to verify the distinction of the 10A model?

Those of you that installed lifts, please post the PNs of your take offs.

I'm already seeing 1/2" sag up front.

Thanks
