For those not yet in the know and/or in possession of your 10A's, one of the EVIC displays keeps track of elapsed time you've spent together. In my case I've been nestled in that beautiful, comfortable red seat a bit over a full day already!

I don't think it has been announced. My dealer said not to doddle on ordering a wrangler if you want one. When I told him I wanted a 10A he said I should make it snappy then as they are suspected to be a limited production run, aside from 2013 only.

10a winch plate

I just got of the phone with jeep. After 30 minutes on phone I got some information on the winch mount plate for the 10a. They are using the same winch mount as the call of duty and the moab. mopar part # 82213164. It sells for $379.00. I did a little research and found that AEV makes the aftermarket part . they sell it for $265.00.I just ordered from quadratec for $304.98 with shipping. I hope this helps people that have been waiting on this information. I told jeep that this should have been installed in the jeep, or that the information should have been available with out me pulling teeth.

I thought I saw here in the thread that the COD/Moab plate would NOT work per a representative of AEV, since they did not make the bumpers?

Interesting that a dealer here locally told me their LAST window to order starts this Thursday (tomorrow) and ends next Wednesday, for 10A's.

I've always thought it could stop at any time.

The stop at any time comment is kind of what my Dealer was getting at. Basically it depends on how many orders they get... Either way I ordered mine last week, so I should be in the cool kids club

That is the allocation window for May orders. It applies to all of the Wrangler orders. They are only building 5,000 10As for the US and since folks are seeing them on the roads now and have fewer doubts about the Anvil color and red leather, orders are picking up and they may reach that 5,000th order before the final 2013 builds stop this Summer. The dealer is right, if you want it, order it now.

You might want to cancel that order to avoid the return shipping FAST! I picked one up from the dealer to try, NOT EVEN CLOSE, I returned it yesterday.

$2500 on exterior lights? For what? Replacement lights, add-on lights?

And about the Rubicon insert - I'd push the dealer to replace. Otherwise, it may become available in the Mopar catalog eventually...

What didn't align properly ? the winch holes ? the opening for fairlead? some info please. I don't care if I have to do slight mod to kit.

If Parker says it is not even close, it is far, far from close, in other words, major, NOT minor. And this would reinforce what I thought an AEV rep had said. Parker has fabbed multiple show class hot rods, and is installing his Artec trusses, Teraflex Prerunner lift, and other upgrades himself. Check the 10A mod thread to see his work.

I have one ordered . A member here Parker said he returned one . not the right part. I called chrysler/ jeep and my local dealers. I had jeep call my dealer and I was told that they used the same plate kit. It is a 2 piece kit . They gave me a mopar kit number which AEV makes the aftermarket kit for. I will let you people know if it works. I was going to cancel order , after Parker stated it will not fit. After I went to cancel it was in shipping. I don't care if I have to do slight mods to make plate fit.

You are incorrect about winch plate

I was told it is a MOPAR part that is not out yet by people at Warn and the AEV COD and Moab plate will not work.

AEV only makes bumper for the COD and MOAB, not 10a.

I would call Warn directly to get update when the MOPAR plate will be out...

Also, the red fairlead in the brochures will never make it to production. It will be black on the official 10a Warn special edition winch.

Good luck!

You all know that Forum members get free shipping from Quadratec, right? Each forum has a different code. Not sure if this is the one for WranglerForum or not, but I use:

Promo Codes - Quadratec

Just go to quadratec with that link then do your shopping. Overweight charges will still apply, but the shipping will be free...

Hey anybody that has knowledge in the Lifetime Maxcare Warranty. I understand you have until 12,000 miles to purchase it without an additional surcharge. But, i got a great deal and went ahead and got it. But, i think i may have shot myself in the foot! The Jeep is getting the right side front leak looked at this week, and also a couple of minor blemishes the service guy said they woud take care of. I was thinking no big deal, but the Lifetime doesn't pick up at the end of the 36/36,000, it starts at purchase date as i understand it, unlike the other warranty options. Sooooo, am i looking at a $100 deductible for a few things that were factory issues upon delivery because i no longer, in reality have the basic warranty? What say anybody!!! I could have waited to purchase the darn Lifetime, but it doesn't make sense to penalize someone for buying it early.........if it goes this way, i'll do what i can to cancel it.
