I'm thinking they wont fit on top of the enhanced rock rails. The mopar ones don't stick out as far (to my knowledge)

Someone told me a long time back that the Ace rails will not stick out much past the enhanced rails, so not much point to use both.

They go great over the regular Rubi rails, or so everyone says.

Every time I see painted fenders.... man I wish I would've just ordered those. For 200 extra? Damn. Lol. Anyone know how much a factory painted set of fenders would cost from parts dept?

Anyone else wanna trade their painted Anvil fenders for my black ones?? Let me know!

Think you could put a u step to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle? Would think it would stick past the enhanced rails? Think there would be a place to bolt it in? Going to be hard for my 70+ yr old in laws and 80+ year old parents to get in it without some form of step.

We were discussing the winch "MOUNTING" plate. The Mopar/AEV part consists of a plate bolted to the frame horns between the bumper and horns. The plate acts as a doubler for the AEV bumper and is called a fairlead plate in the kit instructions. The winch plate bolts to this plate along the bottom and to the frame rails at the rear corners. This way it forms a structure bolted to the frame rails at the rear of the mount plate and a 1/4 inch steel right angle bolted to the frame horns in front. It makes for a strong well engineered winch mount.

The problem is that the fairlead plate in the AEV/Mopar kit doesn't match up with the 10A bumper. The line and fairlead hole in the two don't line up, they're several inches apart in both directions. The plate also doesn't fit the contours of the 10A bumper to act as a doubler the way it does with the AEV/Moab bumper.

The fairlead used is immaterial to the item being discussed. Hope this gives a better understanding of the issue.
I said this earlier and I'll say it again. I have a CNC shop and am willing to make some plates. But someone's got to get me the dimensions needed. Maybe even a picture of the AEV or Mopar plate and what needs to be different. I'll make a plate right away and set it to someone to try it out. Just sayin....

Very nice! Two questions if you don't mind: 1) is that the Mopar bug shield or aftermarket and 2) did you fabricate the bar to hold the lights or did you find one that you had attached to the stock bumper?

Odd - I seem to remember some posts where people had them installed fine. In fact I just ordered a set - really hoping they do otherwise I'll be irritated.

I'm a few heartbeats away from pulling the trigger on a 10A. Its all your fault.

A few questions from current owners:
  1. Do special editions really hold value more or is that a sales pitch?
  2. Do the steel bumpers hold up as well as aftermarkets or are they just pretty?
  3. If you had it to do over again would you? Or would you wait for the 2014's?
  4. Will the 10A hold its cool factor or will Chrysler start selling the unique bumper and hood to everyone in 2014?

Would order 10/10 more times, it was definatly worth the wait. The bumpers are great IMO.

Just put a small step stool/lader/box or something along those lines in your trunk.

Hi looks great. My dealer drilled holes in bumper that has wrangler. Is know covered up
I forgot to tell theme do not put license plate bracket on the front.
I never had one for my trans am or 350z and only received one ticket.
How did you mount your plate? I am so grateful for going with anvil. I do not miss my red cherry pearl. Happy B-Day and nice presents.

After 4 frustrating weeks in "final inspection" status my dealer says my 10A ships Monday. It's unfortunate I'll be traveling and won't be here to pick it up. Once again I'll have to be content with a few photos

Go to Home Depot and buy two of those plastic tabs that tension fit into the hole, better yet tell the dealer to grab two and hand them to you for free

Picked mine this afternoon, the drive home was great 150mi, rain fell hard all the way, happy to say no leak. She drove great. Starting next week with mod's. This is my first jeep, and I love it. " Life is good in a jeep" even better in the 10th Anniversary RUBICON. Was the right choice for me.
You guys and girls that are still waiting, hang in.
Your time is near. Think 🎰.

Guys and Girls. Inspect your new 10A's very carefully before delivery. First, after a very heavy night of rain i had the dreaded passenger side front leak that has been reoccuring apparently since this body style in 2007. They had a leak guy work on it today so hopefully good to go. But, more serious, after waxing my black/red i noticed some paint imperfections. A small area on the lip just under the front area of the passenger side black hardtop. Several very small little (NIBS), i think they call them where they painted over small dust or something. Then i noticed a few more on the same side close to the edges of the doors. Now these are very small and clear coated over, and some probably wouldn't even notice them, but to me very, very poor for a new $40,000 plus vehicle. Dealer has been great. They looked at these today and said they couldn't repair without possibility of making them worse, but would paint the entire areas. I will not do that as i know any painting after the factory paint is never the same, so i will have to live with it. We had a lot of pollen around here and these are so small even after washing i didn't notice them for two weeks. I looked around the lot today and strangely enought the only vehicle (black) which i found any paint imperfections was another 10A, and it had only one i could see but it was a larger one......what the heck? I also had a blemish on the hardtop that they said they did get out, but some white speckles on the hardtop they could not. I pick it back up tomorrow. I am very picky (perhaps too much so) so this is a bummer, but i am moving on and love my 10A. It's a shame that the factory apparently doesn't respect the awesome vehicles they are building for the consumer, as somebody has a job to look for issues like this i am thinking. I am going to write a letter to the highest authority i can get an address on and let them how disappointed i am, and then just enjoy the vehicle. So, don't take that detailed looking vehicle for granted when you see it, inspect it very carefully. If i had seen these paint issues i would have declined buying the Jeep. I doubt you would have been able to even see these nibs on any of the other colors, darn black shows all, but i love its look! Please look over your 10A with a fine tooth comb....i guess this is isolated as no one else has posted paint issues other than Hammer that i know of. Positive side is now that i know it has imperfections i can beat it up off road! LOL.
