My 10A in on a rail car sitting waiting for a truck 4 miles from me. It just plain torture.

What does everyone think of painting the jeep logo red? I wanted black, but I might give red a shot.

This seller is semi-local to me, so I've used him a couple times. Ships genuine Mopar fast:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271142644261

Be sure to check other items. If you find a better price he'll match it if he can.

Picked her up last night. Here are bad phone pics - better pics will come after some mods. First time seeing any 10A in person. I am in love.

Thanks, bought one today. I'll see if I can match the red color from the hooks to paint the badge...

My first new wrangler and a few things I learned in the first 24 hours:
  • Lead foot? You will pay - slow is the way to go with a jeep!
  • Bug Death Machine.
  • The 10A is taller in person than on camera.
  • Already thinking about mods before I even got it home - not that it needs any!
  • More addicting than I imagined.

I have always wanted a truck, but after looking at the truck (which would be less money than my 10A)...

I can buy the quarter ton any day, but the 10A will only come once (speaking of new). Salesman laughed and told another salesman "2 weeks left and he's already looking at a 1500". It's not the wait that is killing me, it's the lack of attention to detail, and the fact that the 10A bumper is offset for a winch. I am waiting until my Jeep gets in before I make my final decision to see if there is anything wrong with my jeep. Either way you all will know because I will be posting my truck or Jeep in here. We shall let fate decide!

Hulk I was getting that same feeling about mine. It finally got here and I can't describe how nice this thing is. I have never had a new one before so can't compare it that way. But it rides better offroad than anything I have ever been in before. I did a very easy trail yesterday by myself just to check it out and didn't air down since I didn't have my stuff with me and it rode better than my X even with it aired down. There is a good spot for doing some tuff climbing that the X really had to work at and with the 10a unlocked it was struggling as well. Backed up and did the two switches for the magic action and then it went right up smooth as silk.

Hope yours arrives in perfect shape and you get to enjoy it as much as I am mine finally. The more I drive it the more the computer learns how to make the engine run the way I intend to use it and things are getting very nice.

First mods complete!

RR euro tail light guards & max tow package (installed by me $60 no labor charge...haha)

Don't dare purchase that overpriced crap from the dealer. Took me 20min to take off stock bolts and spacer, and install the receiver with the stock bolts with blue loc-tite. Routing the included wire harness was easy through the driver side tail light. All plug and play, came with illustrated directions.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys! I don't mind the waiting, less than 11 days now! I have a feeling the 10A will take my breath away. Right now there is only 5 or 6 in Alaska, none have been delivered yet.

Range Rover euro tail light guards? ... Where did you get those and what are they made out of?

Can they be painted or powder coated?

I did some more driving today at 37 - 38 PSI, and I did not find it to be too squirrelly - big improvement over the original 47 the dealer had set it at. I could definitely live with 37ish. Granted, I did not go much over 50 MPH, my errands were relatively short drives, and it was not hot outside, so cannot definitely say it would be good on long, interstate drives in summer.

Once I got home from running errands today, I let the tires equilibrate and then dropped to to 34 PSI. Will give that a day or two, see how I like it, and go from there.

My gas mileage dropped around town about .5 MPG's. Keep an eye on your EVIC.

Wow seems like high psi. I wouldve thought 35ish. Will lowering them to that cause the tpms light to stay on?
