Nice doors, but did you have to post life-sized pictures?

Nice!

What kind of headlights and signal lights did you add on?

And how much did they cost?

Cheers!

Cool but dropping to 30 did nothing for you. Heck I run 28 full time on my DD. Climbing the hill easily wasn't due to 30psi, it was due to the excellent Jeep you have, if you're going to air down, you need to go much lower than 30 to reap any benefits.

It's Here!!! Gonna pick it up tomorrow after work!! Btw the dash plate is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It had a sticker still on it, I forgot to take it off.

The 10a tires versus regular rubicon tires....almost 1/2 inch less in diameter....anything else? And do folks think this was simply to offset the half inch higher lift or is there some advantage to this 265 version? Thanks!

Gotcha. I wonder why they cared, why not have it be half inch taller with bigger/standard rubi tires...

This may go long, I will try to keep it short. I am looking for opinions from those who have their 10A. My question boils down to this... Is it worth it for me to trade my 2013 CG JKUR for the 10A? My CG JKUR has 3.73, cloth interior, no EVIC, 730n and max tow. The 10A is Billet/black and is equipped with 4.10, 430n and max tow currently on order, D1 stage.
To better shed light to my question my reasons for the trade are:
1) I figure the money I would spend towards bumpers F&R, side rails, winch and regear, would about equal the extra money required for the 10A. Advantage of the 10A, factory warranty on all items and steel bumpers, winch and tire carrier capable, airbags remain operational. Less time moddin it for now. I know eventually I will take it past the stock stage.
2) I like the idea of leather seats, heated seats and EVIC
3) when I do lift and add bigger tires no need to regear with the 4.10's although to be honest might not have to with the 3.73's, depends who you ask.
My hesitations are the extra money financed (not financially crippling but just more to finance), I LOVE the Commando Green color and hate to part with it. Billet is OK had vehicles in that color family before.
So bottom line, is the 10A worth the trade? I know it comes down to what am I happy with. I am content with what I have but see advantages to the 10A, so I'm looking for confirmation from owners that this is a good decision. Thanks for taking the time to read my novel. If preferred you can PM me, or answer in the thread, pretty sure I am not the only one at this point in the order/trade situation, if this helps others decide, then it was worth the time to type and read. LOL
Looking forward to words of Jeep wisdom. Thanks.

I had this Thule on my 2011 Rubicon. It was close but the carrier didn't come in contact with the rear tire. Worked like a charm. I Don't think it would clear a larger tire than stock though.

I'd spend the money on mods. Initially, I ordered my 10A because I thought it was going to be everything I wanted in a Jeep. I got EVERY option, and I mean EVERYTHING. I don't smoke, but I ordered the smoker's package anyway. $48,075 MSRP LOADED. During the 2+ months I spent waiting for my 10A to arrive, I found all this cool stuff I wanted instead (Lift Kit, Wheels, Front/Rear Bumpers, etc). I'll be $15K in the hole soon from my initial wave of mods. I could have changed my mind and just bought a regular Rubi, but this 10A had sentimental value to me since I spec'd it out and waited for it.

Tough call. I ordered my Anvil 10A 11 days after I traded an 08 Sahara in for a 13 Sahara. I always wanted a Rubicon but the wife and kids were not too fond of the monotone CG Rubi we originally test drove (it was the jeep that convinced me to trade). Commando Green IS an awesome color. Billet is ok, but if you are the type that loves CG, Anvil would be a suitable exchange. Since its not in the equation, just think about which vehicle would you miss more?
I saw an Orvis Edition Wrangler about 10 years ago and always thought it was the sweetest Jeep I had ever seen and thought the owner was the luckiest person to have it. The 10A made me feel like being that guy. So it was worth the $5,000 HIT I took in trade. With negative equity, it was like I bought the 10A at full MSRP ($48, 045..no smokers group) and paid almost full taxes on it. Financially smart? Not at all. But as I peeked out my window and looked at the 10A a few minutes ago, no regrets. But I didn't give up an already awesome Commando Green Rubicon either. And the red leather is killer in the 10A. Since you ordered black, its not much different than what you have. I say....keep the CG.

VOTS still shows KZU but learned it arrived at my dealer today! Won't be able to pick it up until Friday but they will be doing a few simple mods in the interim (flipping tires around, tail lamp guards, black Jeep emblem).

Dealer also wanted the punch list for known issues so they can include those items in the PDI before I pickup. Can't wait for Friday!
