Just picked mine up on the 9th and am really impressed. Really nice vehicle and am so happy that I chose the 10th Anniv Edition.

Anyone have a chance to remove the winch cover and see if the vacuum pump would get in the way of a winch plate? I assume the 10A vacuum pump is located in the same place as other 2013 Rubicons? The reason for the vacuum pump relocation kits on 2012-2013 JK's is because it gets in the way of winch plates.

My understanding is that the Mopar 3" lift is basically a re-branded 3" Teraflex pre-runner lift.

It has rained about 3 of the 10 days I have had mine, and the first two times it rained there were no leaks - it was a decent rain, steady, but nothing wind-driven or prolonged.

This past Saturday, we got what I could call a typical summer-time afternoon thunderstorm - torrential rain for about 15 mins, lots of wind, and the Jeep was sitting in the driveway. When I took it out on Sunday, there was no water inside the cab, but as soon as I started driving it, a couple drops came down through both of the plastic hand-screws in the overhead bar. Nothing major, but it was the first time I have seen any indication of a leak.

I guess the water had just been sitting there on the roof in a groove somewhere for the previous 12 hours. If that is the worst I can expect, I reckon I am fine with it.

Quick question, I know this has been asked before and probably is a dead horse, but I gotta ask because I am unclear on the matter.

Is undercoating by the dealer recommended or not? Dealer said the charge to do so is $400.

Appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

I would NOT pay the dealer to do it. For less than half that you can buy fluid film do it yourself in like an hr or two or less.

I woke up this morning (Monday) checking my 10A status, the Jeep website said it was KZX (Delivered to Dealer)!

I called my dealer, but they said my 10A has not arrived yet, and expected to take some time to prep it once it arrives -- probably Tuesday or Wednesday for my pickup time.

I have waited this long and it is almost here, but this last wait is still killing me

Just picked up my 10A on Friday afternoon - absolutely stoked! Dealer flipped the tires and installed rear tail light guards for free.

No major issues in body and paint - freedom tops are slightly misaligned so I'm hoping it's minor and won't be the cause for any leaks. Is there anything I can do to address this or is this a dealer thing?

Had all 4 grab handles and 2 garment hooks plus the freedom top storage bag. Dealer also had the tires at 38psi (said it was delivered at 45psi) - handled fine on street and highway going home.

I've had plenty of motorcycles that turn heads over the years but this is the first 4-wheeler I've had that's done the same. Few more pics on the porn thread.

What do you mean by flip the tires? What did they do exactly?

KARR Alarm

Did anybody purchase the KARR alarm (add on) security system?
Thoughts? goood or bad investment? What does it do that the factory alarm does not do?

Richard, I have got to say man, you are really dropping the ball on this. This bad boy has been hanging around getting a wind burn here in Detroit for weeks now while mine has nearly 500 miles on her! What a shame... I have been feeding her some love when I come visit over this way and we have become pretty close. She longs for you dude. That's all.

I picked mine up on Saturday...VOTS still displays KZU second rail delivery....not so accurate! Maybe I can pick up a second one for free when it does show up???

I'm confused on what the consensus is on under-carriage coating - is it a good idea and if so, what exactly do folks do?? Thoughts on preventing rust, and keeping the new look (post washing mud off of course!), particularly on all non-painted parts are much appreciated!!!

Most car guys say undercoating like a paint or rubber is a no go. If it gets cut it holds nastiness in. Oil/wax stuff is better because it seals its self and is easy to reapply yourself. I'm a big fan of fluid film.

He has since mentioned he would have gone with the single voice coil and less amp, at least for his own preferences. I'd rather have too much and adjust down, than not enough, so I followed his route, but also snagged JBL's wired remote for the amp to be stealthed somewhere up front, anticipating I can fine tune the output as needed.
BadDog, Did you ever install the sub you bought? If so, are you satisfied with the results? Would you recommend the same sub and amp?

Got it, thanks. Fluid film-what brand and if you could, tell me how often and how widespread across parts you do this. I'm guessing you first clean, and then hit everything up with a coating? Thks again.

It's one of the next items on my list. Haven't had enough uninterrupted downtime to tackle it of late, so been going after low hanging fruit. Hoping in the next week or so to get this one done. Will post an update once in.
