She's here... Ruby Ann !
2013 Rubi 10A Unlimited, Anvil, Black interior, auto, 410's 730, body color top and fenders. Ordered 03-22-13 and take delivery today 05-15-13 after dealer swaps the tires so white letters are in. Now I get to put on my 3.5" AEV lift, 9.5 Warn Powerplant Winch (I am a welder so fabbing a mounting bracket wont be an issue) and I have the side step running boards to keep rocks from trashing my fender flairs. The plan now is to keep the rock rails (sliders) so when I go to Moab, i can remove the running boards and put the rails on. 3 bolts per side, so i don't see it being a big deal. Pictures forthcoming. And to echo the comments of others, this Forum helped imensely with my being able to cope with all of the unknowns and long (7.5 weeks) wait. Thanks to all of you for taking the time to post and respond.

This isn't a tough crowd - all of my posts come via my phone and I am always typing too quickly on the little keypad and making mistakes.

Understood but I'm just being OCD - especially since I don't want to find out about an issue after the fact.

Thinking about doing the same thing with the Rubi rails. My wife likes the Jeep, just not getting in/out of it.

Found a small painting error on the inside part of the drivers door. Other than that, no leaks or any other problems yet...then again, only have 28 miles on the odometer. I will post pics of the blemish at a later date.

I know it sounds clich'e but it is well worth the wait!
Sweet man.
Finally and congrats

Nice color choice as well

I have the same build and I am enjoying it as I am sure you will.

My Chrysler representative informed me today that the winch will be available mid-June.

Has anyone raised this with their dealer? Curious as to any "official" diagnosis.

I also found the same issue, passenger side sites further forward than drivers side, no leaks.

This is truely a different level of annoyance, IAMJEEP & VOTS have shown my 10A delivered as of the 11th, however salesman assures me it is not on the lot yet. Only reason I am not raising cane at this point is jeep.com has the rig in transit still. Most definitely this is a case of right hand and left hand not even close to shaking. POA listed delivery as the 17th, Friday would be good, but NOW would be better.

Update... she (my 10A) is once again all mine!

The dealer fixed the paint issue to a marginally acceptable or acceptable level. Still a few very small areas of white speckle in the paint and I still question the thickness of clear coat that remains in the affected areas. I wouldn't notice the speckles if new, but I know where to look after my experience. Concerned that if the body shop does more work that I will pass the point of negative returns and more damage than repair will be done .

Corporate reps ended up taking a personal interest in my case and followed the entire process and worked with the dealer. I am very impressed with Jeep's personal interest and concern demonstrated by the Jeep rep once they became involved. Most of you know I was very unhappy when I found the paint issues , however I feel Jeep came through and exceeded my original expectations. I was not anticipating that Jeep would make the level of effort that they demonstrated during the repairs.

She (my 10A) is still the "one"! :-) I am proud to own this Jeep! :-)

Further proof that we are all forward thinkers and trend setters, our 10A specific model wins its class!

You ever get those nibs off the paint?

Anyone else notice the orange peel in the paint? I don't mind it because it blends in better with my textured fenders. Anvil Peel Coat!

that's not happening. 5,000 US 7,000 total production numbers are all thats ever come out of any reliable source. NO credence to alternate colors, that was a glitch on Jeep.com.

Now is Anvil exclusive to the 10A like they said... nope it's already on the 2014 Cherokee and who knows what else coming down the pike but who can blame them this Jeep was the most sought after model in a very long time. I would be really pissed off but couldn't blame them for releasing something similar in 2014. Silly not to from a business standpoint. Sure you are going to alienate a few thousand buyers and you can't turn around and say something will be "limited and special" any time soon but you will likely make up for all of that in the thousands of new Jeeps you sell... Sad but true.

is that the silver spiderwebshade? Why that color? Cooler, didn't want the black, didn't like the idea of a colored "hue" of sunlight beaming down on you?

I am getting ready to order both the half and full spiderwebshades and can't decide black or red to go with my Anvil/Red 10A.

I like the idea of the red coordinating with the color scheme but I have no idea if I will feel like I'm driving around on Mars with all the, I assume red tinted sunlight around me.

Hey Doc. I went Red myself as I felt it would be much like the Red seats. I was guarded about those, but now love them, they feel 'normal', and could not imagine My 10A without them. Haven't installed yet, but holding it in hand it's Red (more the brighter shade we see in our seats as opposed to the blood red), but not neon. Black was my other option. In the end, if I hate the Red, figured I could always order another color.

Don't feel too bad, mine had like 18 miles on the odo. All matters how it was moved from factory to the dealership. Plus I think most dealerships have a mechanic drive it to see if there are any issues.

I went with red on my Anvil as well. No regrets here.

Today at lunch, drove by the dealer and saw my 10A in the back delivery lot, didn't have time to stop though. Haven't called the dealer yet, last time I spoke to him he said it was scheduled for the 17th, but he also said it wasn't there. He should be calling soon I would think.

Bartlanz, I ordered around the same time as you and I got an email from my dealer this afternoon saying that mine should be shipped from the factory Sat (18th). My status still says D1 though....
