My 10A has arrived. Going to through the PDI this weekend. Went to look at it today, picking it up Monday evening.
One thing I thought was interesting is the pinstripe that the dealer added. Did not order it with it, but kind of like it.

Just picked up my 2 door anvil. No grab handles or slush mats.

Is it supposed to come with them? If so, can someone point me to any sort of literature or documentation that says so. Thanks.

What exactly do you consider a good deal ? MSRP on the jeep.com website says the car starts at $39K? i honestly don't see people lining up to buy these at the prices the dealers here in south florida are trying to sell them for. Your also in the boonies im sure you got one under $40K. i was quoted about 3 times today via phone calls from internet sales from a few dealers. the best they can do is $43,500 not including tax, tag, and title.... as for the links i posted above, im sure their quite legit, unforunately im not ready to fly up to alabama and get one. i prefer to wait until one of these dealers here in florida decide they want to sell one of them rather then to just have them sitting on the lot collecting dust.

Remember memorial day and the end of the month is coming very soon. and everyone knows car stealerships love to make sales during holidays and the end of the month. we shall see

That is very cynical and all dealerships are not as u are portraying them. In that im sure thst they have plenty of old merchandise to lose money on, there is nothing wrong with them trying to make money on a 10a while they can. We dont complain about other reatilers andvprofessions trying to make money so why is it so wrong for a dealerdhip to? Stealerships, really how old r u?

Many peopke on here have reflected great experiences. Mine could not have been better. They kept me up to date on order status, sent me pictures as soon as it arrived, and honored my tread lightly discount. Are all lawyers and doctors thieves because they over charge us?

I had a great experience. They even surprised me with a lower interest rate when I walked in without me even asking - 1.54 for 60 months vs the 1.79 we agreed to a couple weeks ago.

im 30 years old.... im also not financing nor looking to lease one of these. I just sold two my personal vehicles and have a nice chunk to purchase a vehicle. im ready to pull my checkbook out and buy one out right. you would think when someone is looking to spend cash or buy a car outright they would be ready to do a deal.

I'm sorry i offended you but i don't bite my tongue for anybody... i love the usual salesmen tactics they try to pull as well. "Oh these are rare", "we're the only dealership in the area to have them." and the one i've heard numerous last year when i purchased another new vehicle. " If you can get one for that let me know i'll buy one there as well. "

Point blank i wasn't born yesterday and i know the usual gimmicks and tactics. i've done plenty of research KBB.com says a fair price to buy a 10th annivesary model unlimited is $37K. now why in the world would I want to throw my hard earned money away by being over charged ??

Man if you can buy a unlimited 10A in the 37K, jump on it, maybe if a person got soft top only, manual trany and the 130 radidio and nothing else he could get closer to 37. Good luck and if you get one please post some pics of her.

37k on a loaded 4 door 10a is over 5000 below invoice. Dealer would be losing several thousand dollars. I understand u want a good deal but kbb is not always the gospel. I wad just saying not all car dealers are frauds so hate forvthe good ones to be slandered by generalizations. But i do get that a lot o salesman are sleezy unfortuately. 42k or close is very fair on a loaded 4 door

I won't argue what you can buy one from, but your above statement is straight out wrong. According to KBB, the "Fair Purchase Price" of a 10A Unlimited even with absolutely no options is $39,575. A 10A 2-Door, also with no optional equipment is $36,144. Those numbers are straight off of KBB. I can get you screenshots if you like, but with all your research, I am sure you already know that.

Good luck in your search! I really do hope you find the Jeep you want at the price you want to pay. If you wait long enough, it most certainly may happen!

Take care,
Matt

I have one. Doesnt matter what kbb says. That is plain bs. Ive seen real invoices. Good luck to you and hope u get lucky, but im sorry u r dead wrong about what reality on pricing is. Always fun when a consumer off the internet thinks they know more than someone who really does.

Bt, i could not say not one negative thing about my experience . Dealer got the order right, honored the price agreed upon, kept me informed on its status, let me know the minute it arrived and threw in 500 bucks of add ons and did not charge me for them, full tank of fuel and rear tire cover.would buy from them in a heartbeat.

If retail is over 46k and real invoice is 42500, how is 39600 true mkt value. Ur simply showing ignorance. But i guess kbb is the gospel and the rest of us are idiots.

Billy. Glad u had good experience. I did too. The ignorance on here and overall disdainment for car people is simply pathetic and hard to read sometimes. It looks like most are enjoying their 10as and most people had good experiences. Hoping all of u enjoy ur 10as and look forward to sharing 10a experiences on here with u all. Have a great weekend!

I've purchased many cars, trucks, Jeeps, and motorcycles over the past 25 plus years myself. I have worked in a few dealerships as well. I can tell you for a fact that KBB is a guide and quite often KBB is way off. The dealership has their invoice price, transaction credits/variable bonus levels, and holdback which varies depending on the retail price of the vehicle, and of course their dealer fee if any. Now there may be other incentives all of which you can get from Edmunds.com. If you want a deal on a 10A it could be very simple and fair to all parties to ask for invoice less the holdback, and any applicable incentives. The dealership is there for profit not charity so they are entitled to earn a living. If you approach them with this kind of an offer you should be able to make your deal. Realize that although the 10A can be found elsewhere, it will never be a vehicle that the dealer wants or needs to pay you, me, or anyone else to drive off of their lot! They will sell it to someone else who is happy to buy these amazing rides.
I don't mean to be insulting or rude here, just want to offer a perspective from an inside dealer point of view.
By the way.. I don't work for a Jeep dealer.. I'm a new car Sales Manager for a VW dealer. Save yourself a bunch of time and energy and ask for the Sales Manager right away. Tell them your serious and prepared to move forward right now and ask for your deal. Skip the back and forth from a Sales Associate who doesn't have the power or access to work the deal without the Manager..

Maybe you should just buy yours from Kelley Blue Book since they have so many of them for $37,000. But last time I checked KBB doesn't sale jeeps or have any 10A's on their imaginary car lot in the sky.

Have fun with that big boy!

I don't mind paying a dealer who has given me excellent service for the last 6 years a little bit of profit on his $40,000 that he had to pay to Chrysler for my jeep before I payed him.
Plus he has about 5-10 million dollars of his own money tide in the dealership.

It's not Monopoly money that the dealer is using . KBB doesn't have one dime in the game.

I beg to differ... i can also show screenshots, and i remember what i seen. apparently we chose different options so this will vary. As to ALL the other members with low post counts trying to act like you know what your talking about, i think i know how much i'd like to spend and i'll be the judge of what i spend and what jeep i buy.

If for some reason i don't get a 10th anniversary i'll still end up getting a rubicon or even a moab edition unlimited model. in the mean let's continue on with sharing facts about this new loved model rather then flaming and arguing. i came on here thinking i was dealing with a better crowd then the honda -tech and evom... please don't let me regret thinking that.

Last year on 12/12 I paid 32,000 red cherry rubi loaded w/430 nav that was built 8/12. I traded in 4/30/13 for my new Anvil $410000 w/ the 730 nav and took a hit but I invest my money. After 3 years wranglers are in the top three with the best in selling or trading in.

I am saving for a 2014-16 dodge viper of course red. There are talkers and doers The jeep is paid for and I willed to my 2 sisters and brother. Once they drive it they will hooked and and will buy one!
Just a matter of time. People were selling 10a for $45,000. Also 80% on the Internet is BS. Go drive and you will buy or wait
Until 12/13 best time to buy a vehicle,
Mine was built on 4/15/13 and has my name on the window sticker! I love my jeep. If you stay on this site you will fine top
experts on wranglers. KBB is so out of date call a local dealer representative for jeep. My sale lady did when I has a ?

So I was driving down the street today and I finally saw a 10A on the road. We were passing each other on opposite sides of the road, I had my top down and doors off with a nice sand coat (its a Sahara, of coarse its sand covered!) with a girl in my passenger side, and he had his hard top and doors on but I could see his red leather and red accents and we both gave each other that "Your the man" look. I must admit, it looked like an animal and who ever has the pleasure of owning one should really appreciate that baby.

OHHHH that's why your feelings were hurt... because your a car sales man. you know the business yet your spelling is horrible. Once again i'll determine how much i spend on a car that I buy. IF i don't get one then ill end up with a rubicon or moab. no significant difference other then the hood, exclusive color (anvil),and interior. in all reality it's the exact same vehicle.

you are right about one thing though. KBB and edmunds are just a " Tool" to help people from overspending on a vehicle and know what their true value is. how old are you by the way like 16 or something? your spelling and your whole demeanor on here is showing me alot about yourself.

U r one to judge with your earlier comments and idiocy. As i said you are only proving to be ignorant. Good luck to you and i hope u are able to get a jeep at your price. I like many love my 10a but i think u would enjoy one of the other models u mentioned also. And those should fit within your price range. Not a salesman nor am i hurt by your lack of education regarding buying a vehicle or in general for that matter.
