Just put it on today do not a whole lot of experience with it. I think it sounds great driving around town. Will be taking a road trip next week and have a better idea. Installed it at the firehall and the other fireman thought it sounded great as well.

I'm going from a Grand Cherokee with load warrior roof rack and want the same cargo carrying capacity. I don't like safari racks' interference with removing the top and I'm frightened of the idea of drilling holes in my hard top.

I think the Rack and Roll fits the bill! Thanks for the share!

We love it. Had it about 5 years now. Lots of miles and going strong. Showing some wear and just put new rubbers on it for the first time.

Would love to hear what you think of it after a while. The stock exhaust on mine just doesn't do the Jeep justice. I've always been a Borla fan in the past, but not really feeling the available exhausts they have at the moment, plus they seem to be more over-priced than usual for the Jeep.

If you ever have a chance for a video or sound clip, would appreciate it, but I would be just as happy to hear your feedback after you get some additional miles on it. Also, if yours a manual or automatic?

If you can PM his number maybe i'll give him buzz see what he tells me.

Anyways back on topic. i was contacted today from the general manager from kendall jeep, chyrsler, and dodge. apparently the person i dealt with from his dealership told him about me, apparently he's trying to sucker me in or possibly really trying to get a sale now because memorial day is coming and so is the end of the month. the reason i say " sucker" me in is because when i asked him to give me a price on what he can offer me the vehicle, he wouldn't give me am actual price. i'll keep everyone updated on that.
I dealt with the same thing - I had to make about 2 dozen calls before I found a dealer to place the order over the phone. Most tried every angle to get me into the dealership first. They know once most people are on the lot the dealership has the advantage. In one case they tried to get me down to see a moab so I could tell they didn't want to order for me but instead wanted to push one off their lot. Anyway, keep at it and you will eventually get what you want or at least find a dealership that works for you.

The reason I ask is when I went and looked at my 10A (dealer has it in PDI currently, scheduled to pick it up Monday) they did not seem to know how to mount it to the front short of screwing it directly to the winch insert. I do not want to do that and seem to remember seeing an OEM bracket.
If someone can provide a part number and pictures, that would be highly appreciated, I will then contact the salesman ASAP. Thanks
Yes Sir, they do come with a front license plate mount which is drilled right into the "Rubicon" insert! Yea, NO! Told them DON'T do it! Please find a pic of mine still in the bag!

Hehe, genau so! Lucky SoB, that means you're getting the pretty AEV bumpers while we get stuck with the standard EU ones... Meh, I might order myself the AEV ones later separately. I went with black/black colour option (not much choice anyway when there's only 10 being delivered to Belgium and Luxemburg combined).

If you noticed my post, I had a picture of mine posted. Got it 15 Apr so I know a bit of what I'm talking about. If you can one for 31 or 35k, best of luck to you.

Imagine that offer bs price but then they have none in stock. Now that is dealership deception. Offer incredible price but they are not really ever going to sell at it. Just trying to bait and switch. A lot of big dealers do this and the vehicle is never there, but amazingly something similar at a higher price is.

With what everyone else has paid, i dont see those prices being legit and rather a pipe dream. Still dont understand that when all of us on here have offered what we have paid and how fair we were treated that some still think we are all wrong and that we can be bested by thousands.

How much should tags, title, and registration cost? I'm in ny.
I think the dealer tricked me on this.

Need to contact your dmv. They can tell you as every state and sometimes county within a state collects a different tax amount. Also some states allow for the trade in and/or rebates to be deducted from the taxable value while some dont. In okla our excise tax is 3.25% of the sales price + 150 for the tag. Some of our neighboring states collect over 7%.

Thanks for the photo. Going to send a copy of the kit pic to the dealer. I'm not opposed to them installing it, as long as it properly drilled into the insert with the mount.

Thats good to hear! My wife loves the sounds of the clips I've found online, just worried about it being too loud while cruising or with it having a drone. I assume you went with the 3" exhaust? Did you just do the cat-back section?

How are people getting their estimated ship date? The VOTS system or do you have to call?

I spent about 2 hours washing and waxing the entire vehicle yesterday. Even took off the spare to wax the tailgate!

Question for you all... I am over my initial 60 miles (about 100 mi) and was doing 3rd full throttle (Yes, I keep track lol) and when I shifted and let the clutch out like I normally do, the Jeep thumped, it felt like dumping the clutch and sent me into my seat. I did not smell burning clutch.

I was concerned I broke something and continued to drive it moderately for about 5 miles around town. To my surprise, this morning on my way to work, the clutch feels better than it did yesterday?

I normally drive very conservatively and after the 300 mile mark only run the Jeep hard once a gas tank or so. Anyone know how much these Jeeps can take?

Hulk congrats... I've been out of touch, didn't know you took delivery.

I always think of a clutch like I do brakes, but the pedal works the opposite... and I've always had the mindset both need bedding. Keep in mind I think there's also a huge difference between a factory installed clutch vs. a regular joe.

There's much discussion on the internet over this.

Interesting, maybe the computer compensated for my actions? I'll post in the appropriate thread... maybe I can find some stuff out.

New owner!

I had placed an order for a 10A about a week ago. I called my dealer about 4 days after I had placed the order to get the VON and more info. My dealer told me he hadn't heard back from Chrysler and the order had not been placed, but he would call me back as soon as he heard from the Chrysler rep. Well a few hours later he told me he could not order me one! I don't know if it was an allocation thing or what, but I wasn't a happy camper!

I found a 10A on a dealer lot about 275 miles away and negotiated a deal over the Internet. Yesterday I drove up there and took delivery!

I now have a Billet Silver 10A 2 door, black interior, 730n, hard top, tow package and remote start. It was a interesting drive home, trying to vary the revs and going full throttle a few times at highway speeds.

What a difference from my 2000 TJ, this Jeep is so nice and quiet but more capable. I am really liking the 10A.

exactly.. i went to two more dealerships today. one of them didn't have any and one was asking more then $45K plus Tax,tag,title... the pricing on these are ridiculous... especially they don't even want to negoiate price what so ever

No i didn't notice.... Once again anyone can overpay for something they want and get what they want immediately, but IF your not trying to get ripped off it does take time to find that deal.

Remember we're getting closer to memorial day and the end of the month. SOMEONE WILL call me and want to negotiate to make that sale.

Good luck buddy, we hope you join the 10a family, but don't let pride stand in the way if this is what you really want. I had to negotiate amongst 3 dealers before I got the deal I wanted. Some dealers had no clue what I was talking about with the 10a, others said they could not even order 1 (that is another story all in itself). If you really don't want the 10a, just get a Rubicon or other version and build it up...it would save you some $$ that way.

Good luck!

appreciate it bud im honestly back and fourth with the idea. i want one but as i said in one of my other posts in this thread. they are marking these high here in SOFLA. lowest i seen was $40K PLUS TTT.... then when you make them an offer on their site they just call you with the usual come in check it out, or " yea... If you can find one for that price go get it and get me one too"

I know the deal can be done. once again im just playing this waiting game, and see what one of the bloodsuckers has to say within the next two weeks

I went with the 2.5. It is cat back. My studies recommended the 2.5 over the 3.
