My sentiments exactly, a gun metal dark metallic, and the dark red seats accent it perfectly. We love ours and its all i dreamed it would be. But i have to add, all the 10a colors are DARN SHARP.

Wanted my "Rubicon" insert intact, so kept the dealer from poking it with the supplied mount. Opted to fab a piece from angled aluminum instead, at least until I mount a winch and look at 'Plan C'. The original post is here:

Front Plate Mount

Still haven't mounted it as my plates are still not in hand. Test fit worked well though. Added a strip of camper shell-mounting weather strip between the bumper and mount, and the plate and mount to reduce vibration.

Just bought my 10A Billet with red interior on Saturday. This is my first Jeep so I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of performance. Didn't take long to answer that question. This ride is awesome! I hope the "wow" factor doesn't wear off anytime soon. Congrats to all the other 10A owners and to the folks waiting for their 10A.

Got a question for all the proud 10A owners, anyone putting seat covers on?
Was thinking of going with Trek Armor or Wet Okole. My hold back is, once installed, will I be able to still feel the heated seats when I use them? Anyone have either of those covers installed, if so can you still feel the heat of the seats?

Very nice. Saw the Tim Hortons in the cup holders - are you in Canada?

BG ... I wanted red seats to go with my Billet, but got overruled.

On the other hand, I like my red switches.

If there's a way I can order red factory seat covers, I'm going to snatch a set and hold on to them.

Did you order supplemental side air bags?

I was too shy to order the red & love the black, but am now 'feeling' the red... Thinking the same. Versatility! I'm going to vote heated seats will still be effective.

Yup, that was it. Still have no idea what that was for (or what the issue was), but I do know a number of people from here who got that email have gotten their Jeeps, and no major issues have been reported. Granted, it is a small sample size (out of 200, only a couple were forum members, as best as I know), but nothing major has popped up.

I went over mine quite thoroughly and could not find anything wrong on the surface (paint, rust, etc). In three weeks of driving, nothing else has popped up, either.

I went from Production Scheduled directly to Trim on VOTS! Yeehaw.

Ordered her on 4/29 and now thinking I might have her in time for Father's Day!

Only mods I am planning for now are Nav TV, replacing rock rails with side steps ( suggestions welcome), and new bulbs for the headlights.

Dream mod is putting in a 2" AEV spacer lift and Duratec 35's.

hmm in Paint for two days now? I suspect that they may ship it before the Vots updates.

Dealer said expected ship date is today...

Be Careful when folding seats

Broke my drivers side rear passenger seat buckle cover while folding the seat. The buckle slipped between the seats and was crushed while folding. Found the pieces under the seat and kinda snapped it back together. Not sure if the bungee around the buckle strap is there to prevent that or not?

I just heard from my local dealer that production has officially stopped for the 2013 models, including the 10A edition of course. Has anyone else heard this? I was going to place an order for one this week, but looks like I missed the boat. Can anyone else confirm that this is the case?

The change over from 2013's to 2014's is scheduled mid-July. The 2013's will be built till the last minute.

It could be that the all the order allotments are complete for the model year.

Just got an email from Chrysler Canada in response to my order... Deposit down end of January... It's still in "D" status (more than 2 months now).... And nobody can tell me when's its going to arrive.... They are still in production

I'm now debating if I should just cancel the order... And just find a regular Rubicon.... If Nobody can tell me when it will be here

[QUOTE=AnvilXC;3778247]Very interested in hearing the outcome of your ordeal with the dealership. Given the lack of rain in the forecast I'm debating do I just deal with the misalignment and risk until something actually happens or try to proactively test the seals with a sprayer.

Yesterday the leak speacialist called me at work to get some more information. While he was talking his helper actually found the leak. I picked it up yesterday. It appears they moved some of the foam door seals. The invoice indicated that they replaced a seal and made misc. modifications to the door seals. I'm sure it will rain soon and I'll see if it works. I'll report back either way. A one day turn around isn't bad. I was starting to get Jeep withdrawals.

Now if just have to finish my Rube Goldberg hard top hoist, chalk the tires and install my headliners.

I installed my Tuffy under seat concealed carry box. Its a real pain to put in the rear bolt and the seat wire harness relocation solution sucks. If anyone installs one, be careful when you drill the hole. There is what appears to be a break line or something running right under where the hole is drilled in the floor. Of course you can install the box without this extra security bolt.

I am getting a dealer ordered one in Alberta. The dealer placed the order in January, mine just went into kz status yesterday. ETA for mine is July.

I ordered mine on May 8th. the dealer told me that was the last day to enter an order. I would also be interested to know if anyone has ordered after this date.

Where about are you located, the dealer I bought from has 2 anvil 4dr coming in (1 auto, 1 stick). The automatic was originally supposed to be mine but someone else that ordered the same time as me decided not to take theirs which was 99% they way I ordered mine so I was able to get that one instead of mine.

I can give you contact info if you are interested and in the GTA area.

Got the email

Hi,
Placed my order for an Anvil and red 2013 10A on May 11th and yesterday got the email that said: "Your new Jeep is now scheduled for production." Made my day!
