I will say that the decal is off location compared to any other hood decal I've ever installed and I've installed all of them. They all sit much further forward. These were not installed at the factory though (I believe) and I'm sure they didn't use a locating fixture.

Of course, it is a buzz model. Maybe that's where they are suppose to go? I won't know until we get one.

I ordered the max tow package. In the old days it used to include a heavy duty battery and alternator and automatics got a separate radiator to cool the transmission fluid. But you are probably right, these days you get a hitch and wires.

I was going to take it off and get one from Quadratec for $85 with wiring harness. But in the end laziness won out and decided to keep it. But if you want to mount your own, it is only 4 bolts and then stringing the harness.

My dealer also had the part number for the "10th anniversary winch" until I told them it was exclusive to this model and had badging so was a new part number if it was even in the system at which time they looked like deer in headlights. They said the winch they had was the mopar winch or whatever winch has been in there system for a long time.

Yeah look it up its the mopar winch, no thanks. This warn winch will be twice that price I'm guessing. Best I can find for the standard 9.5ctis is 1500 or so and I can only imagine what Chrysler and my dealer are going to do to a limited run special edition winch. I'm guessing 2800 installed and I've been crossing every finger and toe that Chrysler will reward the presell 10ths with a winch.

Here is the Quadratec links for the Tow package:
Just the hitch, $69.99
Quadratec Exclusive Q52060290 - Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec
Hitch, harness, and connector $89.97
Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

The hitch (factory and quadratecs) are clsss II with a basic 4 pin connector. If you want to tow a trailer with brakes, you will need to get a hand brake for the trailer.

I am not planning any mods, I am a purist. I might just put it in my garage and only take it out on Sundays, and not while there is still salt on the road. Somebody remind me why I spent $46k on a loaded 10A? Oh yeah, I wanted to see what Anvil looks like.

Nope, that is the old school stock mopar winch (Warn 9.5XP).

What is the big difference between the Warn 9.5cti-s and new Warn Zeon series?

Mine will see plenty of mud and water on my farm just like my 2010 Rubi does. Just wanted to move to the 3.6 and an auto. Was going to get a regular 13 Rubi, but couldn't live without the extra ˝ inch of ground clearance on the 10A. It was that and not all of the cool badging and other 10A stuff that sold me.

Bummer on the seats. Guess I should have stuck to my original plan and went with the red seats instead.

It does appear that was a glitch on the 4.10 gears. My dealer just sent me the Priced Order Confirmation (POC) which has my VON on it and so forth. On this sheet it does not have the 4.10 gears as an option, and the price went down by $195, so all looks good on that front.

Any idea what this line is, it is also different from what was on my "Configuration Preview" paperwork? 4H4 - Special Scheduling Condition VII. It's a no cost item, so not really worried about it. Just curious is all.

Thanks,
-Matt

Anyone have the CURB weight of the 2 door automatic 10A. The standard Rubicon is 4129 lbs. I'd like to know how much more the 10A weighs over the standard 2D auto. Rubicon.

Not to nit pick, but Jeep is advertising a 1/2 inch higher ground clearance for the 10A in what I assume were news releases around Dec. However, the brochures on jeep.com quote the standard Rubicon at 10.2 and the 10A at 10.5 inches ground clearance, a miniscule 0.3 inch difference hardly worth mention. Just curious.

Interesting too are that the approach and departure angles are better in the standard 2013 JKR according to the Jeep web site: 44.3 to 42.5 approach and 40.4 to 33.1 departure. The 10A wins the breakover angle at 27.1 to the standard's 25.4, however. Wonder if there is an error in the numbers.

You don't see any other possible changes before production, do you? Thanks for the info Archer.

You should still have time to change to the red seats. My dealer said I had 10 days to make any changes in the order before it's locked in.

Allpar says the 2DR 10A weighs 318 lbs. more than the 2012 Rubicon (curb weight is 4450 lbs). Automatic is 14-25 lb heavier than 6 speed. 4dr is 441 lbs. heavier.

From Chrysler customer service.
"Dear Kevin:

Thank you for your patience.

I have received confirmation that the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th
Anniversary Leather Seats when factory ordered in Black, are all Black
and that includes the stitching on the seams and the logo."

Matt, might want to give your dealer a call.

You should be able to make changes to your order, through your dealer, until your order has reached 'D' status....and that's going to be a bit I'm sure.

So I have a VON, I know my last name but when I try to use it on the VOTS site I get the following

"The last name or tracking number you entered is incorrect"

I understand that my Jeep hasn't started production yet, I am just hoping the order is in and entered correctly.

Anyone else experienced this error?

It will be like that for a little while until the time gets closer for the 10A, especially if you ordered Anvil. Mine does the same thing. If your are worried about your order being in the Jeep system, just call Jeep and they can look you up. But if you have a VON, you are good to go right now.

I will make surrounded am reimbursed by dealer. I just hope this addition does not delay my vehicle if its an error.
My dealer also mentioned that the $195 for the 4.10 gearing is an error. If my 10A shows up with the charge still on the sticker, then they will deduct the cost on the spot. For my 6 speed bretheren: don't accept the $195 cost for the gearing.

Just thinking out loud right now via this thread. Up until this point while reading this thread I was under the impression that mad people are getting the 10A and I'll see a ton on the road, especially in Anvil.

The after some thinking I realized that honestly the people on this thread make up a good number of pre sales and not too many people will have this car. I forget sometimes that we are spread out all over the country as well.

Great price. I negotiated with the dealer for over 3 hours (mainly about my trade in's value, but they would not budge on the 1% below invoice.

I was under the impression the order had to be placed as a sold order during the pre-sell.
Bottom left of your POC states - scheduling priority: 4-dealer order.
Mine says 1-sold order, it also has my name and address on it.
You might want to check this out with your dealer.

Not trying to bring you down, just trying to help.
