I called IAMJEEP today at it sounds like my rig was scanned into a local rail yard on Sunday. I'm hoping to get the call today or tomorrow. Rain's moving into the PNW, but it looks like a sunny weekend for no a no top drive!

Directionally Deficient

Hello Group. Saturday I went to a friend's retirement party and decided I would try out the 730 navigation in my 10A Jeep. The distance was 50 miles one way and I knew how to get there without navigation. The destination was a country farm. Going there, the navigation took me to a fork in the road, used the shortest route, got there no issues. There was a notice on the navigation screen at the last turn before the destination "The route, road, area is unverified." Leaving the destination after pressing the home button, the navigation took me across the natural south route home in an opposite direction several miles from the original route. I had to correct my driving from memory to take the correct route home. I'm not impressed. Check your maps at home prior to using the navigation in your car. And keep Tom Tom for iPhone with you. The end.

I am looking into just getting my interior Line-X'ed and came across some of these JKU with exterior Line-X. They look kinda nice, but I don't know if I could ever do it.

http://www.city-data.com/forum/attac...-lovers-00.jpg
I was cautioned by another forum member that Line-X has a strong odor, so proceed with caution on the interior. Still haven't given up the idea of doing the inside of my hardtop though.

Did put some finishing touches to the winch added:

Factor 55 Hitch Link (Red)
Smittybilt 3/4" D-Ring in Black Pair

Of course I'll post pictures!
More good stuff. Love my TruckLites. IMHO, I think they are the best value. As for LED accessory lights, look at Black Box Logistics. A big savings, great service, and with my 50" in hand (but awaiting PSC mounts) quality appears solid.

If you go with the one you hyperlinked, you will have to grind off the nuts that are welded onto the hitch to make it fit.
Just wondering what the reason is for having to grind off the welded nuts (Quadratec unit). Is it something with the 10A rear bumper. I have read good reviews on the qtec hitch on other jku's and I am 30 mins from them so it's easy to pick up. But I'll order the one from shopjeepparts and save the hassle if this is confirmed. Thanks

For my German Shepherd, I went with the USA K9 Outfitters Survivor Dog Harness. SURVIVOR Big Dog Harness. I love it for my dog. Lets him move around, but he can't jump out. Will post photos if the sun comes out again.

Here is another post with pictures showing it: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/dog...ml#post2480213.

Am I the last one?

I've read that they are starting to make the 2014s now. My current estimated ship date is June 19th so It'll be July before mine shows up. Does anyone else know how late this year these will be built? Does anyone else have a later build date? VOTS shows only "production scheduled"

I'd prefer not to have the last one built. The wait for this ride stinks. I am dying to get into it and start modding.

Thanks.

Can you post up some pictures of your NavTV and Rear Camera install? I'd like to get one and am curious about how hard/easy they are to do.

Thanks.

Really?! I heard Monstaliner had an odor to it. Line-X does also huh? How bad did they say? How long did it last? Thanks.

You can with the am additional accessory mount (around $80) that can also accept Rotopax mounts.

I got the Mopar rack system thru the dealer (Storage System for Hard Top and Doors - 82210644 | Mopar), who gave me~10% MSRP $478 w/ 6.25% tax. It was easy to assembly and fits nicely in the corner of the garage. The Bestop unit looks very similar to mopar system.

The SKU for the accessory mount is 4838200. I think the Rotopax locking handle provides the security lock.

Talking 8 weeks from order to delivery...

Finally! I took delivery today. It actually had been sitting at the dealer for a week - I got stuck in Moore OK writing checks to people that needed their lives put back in order more urgently than I needed a new toy. Apparently when it was initially delivered it was placed out on the lot with the rest of their stock and generated a lot of interest. Rocky at Mall of Georgia CDJ stuck to his word and didn't sell it out from under me before I could get back to Atlanta and complete the transaction. In fact, when I pulled up to take delivery a guy had stopped in wanting to buy it. Upon learning it was a sold order he gave up his quest for a 10A and ended up with a "normal" Rubicon out of existing stock.

I took the punch list with me and the only items I spotted (aside from ignoring my instructions NOT to put a sticker on the vehicle ) were the missing battery terminal caps and a few tiny pecks in the paint. One on the roof of the passenger Freedom Panel and one on the hood. Actually the one on the hood looks like some sort of grease smear, but wouldn't come off with a licked finger rubbing on it. I'll hand wash her this weekend; hopefully that particular blemish will go away.

I had 4 grab handles and 2 coat hooks stuffed in the glovebox and one Freedom Panel storage bag in the back. I was hoping to luck out like someone else on here that ended up with two storage bags but no such luck.

All in all, an impressive piece of machinery. I'll post pics in the "10A Porn" thread shortly...I have a bunch of errands to run after being gone for 3 weeks.

Just as an additional data point, I secured financing through BB&T at 1.1% for 48 months

So where has everyone landed on tire pressure (stock tires)? Thought someone posted earlier that even 36 was a little high.

Did you also have to install the TeraFlex Patented JK HD Hinged Carrier or does the hi-lift mount work without it?
