Finn, I'll have a definitive answer tomorrow direct from Teraflex. The Rotopax Locking Handle looks like it is for locking the containers if you get them, not just the jack. I'll keep ya posted!

Picked up the 10A this evening and all I can say is fricken awesome!! The only thing i would do different is ordered 2... 4 door for wife and 2 door for me. No major issues at delivery. Took issue list from post and only thing wrong was only 1 set of grab handles. Dealer made it right on the spot. Made them use high pressure sprayer to spray door seals and window seals at about 18 inches from vehicle. No leaks. Think I should be good. Got billet color and love it, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any color. They all look good.

Spent the past 2 hours cleaning it and putting the first coat of wax on. This will be the cleanest the vehicle will ever be.

I called today and my 10A JKUR is only 100 miles from me, as of this morning, in the rail head delivery spot. Supposed to be at dealer #1 on Thursday (after passing within a mile of my house and then going another 2-3 hours). I am calling dealer #2 tomorrow to make sure they know to go get it. It was a dealer transfer before it was finished being built.

Hey guys I am about a week and a half away from picking mine up. I saw my first 10A today here in my home town, now I really can't wait. Any way where can I find the check list that some of you have referred to?

Congrats! My Billet JKU is sitting in the dealer lot right now. I'll get it tomorrow night. Looks like our shipped on the same day and got to Oregon and Texas at the same time.

I've heard you shouldn't wax new paint for a couple months after they've been built so the paint continues to cure properly, not sure if that is a myth or not, maybe a body guy could chime in here.

Ahhh.. today is a good day for you and the wifey. Maybe you should upgrade that JKR to a JKR10A! In Black paint red leather seats!

I also have heard that you shouldn't wax the vehicle for at least several washes later. From Factory it comes all nice and clean with all the wax on it.

Thanks Meatball and Rigger. Would love to upgrade to a JKR10A but about 5 months to early. But who knows maybe a RIPPS supercharger instead in the future. I agree years ago that you did not want to wax your vehicle for the first month, but today they are sprayed on with laser technology and baked on with a clear coat so I feel safe waxing. Just think of it this way. When you have a vehicle repaired they buff and wax it. I really don't think they wax vehicles from factories cause when you run you hand over them they are not slick. Anyway to late now, already done. lol. Well got to start with a few little add on so time to get busy. Hopefully everyone is enjoying there's as much as we are enjoying ours.

I have the issue on both the driver and passenger sides. I spent some time looking at it yesterday after a big rain in NY and think this is the culprit. As water runs down the space in this gasket allows water in.

Anyone have any luck tracking this leak down?

Also I am finding the foam weather strip is completely saturated with water where the freedom panel sits in the rubber gasket.

Congrats man. I picked my 10th up in May. Anvil with matching top. Beautiful ride. People can dog the red seats all day, but they are beautiful. And the jeep looks like NOTHING else on the road. I am running 35" Toyo MTs and Hutchinson Rock Monster wheels. I am also running Gibson Metal Melisha cat-back exhaust. Sick sick sick.

Tis a myth indeed. Modern paint doesn't have those same curing requirements.

I picked up the Mopar for $400 from the dealer as it had been returned. Expensive but worth the freed up space in my garage and beats fabricating something. Love it.

Interesting. Been looking around at the HT cartw. From what I understood you always had to remove the HT and place it into/on the cart etc which seemed "aim". Just took a look at the installs of the list above. The Best Top looks very interesting. You attach it to the top while on the jeep then lift the whole thing off and place it on the ground. Any one have one? Does it work as advertised?

I can tell you that the Bestop you have shown here is EXACTLY the same product that I picked up from Mopar. The instruction manuals are the same. They probably use the same supplier and Mopar just marks theirs up. Very simple to build and rolls nice under weight of top/ doors.

My fellow 10A owners, please read the thread I started about a problem I have with my 10A transmission. I hope this doesn't happen to any of you.

It is official. I will not be joining the 10A club. Dealer lost my under contract order 3 days from delivery. Can you say incompetence. Pat@Fields is very rare. Professional, Competent, and helpful to the masses-so were are all better informed and get a good deal.

At best, i will have a 13 JKUR. At worst, a '14. I have to get the hood though.

Only extremely upset to the point of sticking with my 09.

Doesn't sound good, though an opportunity perhaps in the making. The last batches of 10A's are winding up on dealer lots now. You may be able to get this dealer to compensate by bringing in one that you like at cost less some compensation for the f-up e.g.

first one on this list is JKU white with red interior, go through the stock list carefully also change exterior color for other availabilities

Find Your Car: New Jeep Wrangler Listings Near Miami Beach, FL 33109 - AutoTrader.com

Fields jeep even has a white one with black interior

Cars for Sale: 2013 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Rubicon in Sanford, FL 32771: Sport Utility Details - 348355451 - AutoTrader.com

don't let your dealer off the hook if it can be remedied, or if you prefer deal direct with the dealers that have the stock you are interested.

From what Pat posted a well equipped Rubicon with the upgraded hood and bumpers. Not sure about seats. That is what I was curious about also.

Today's "Stealth 10A Warn Winch" pictures! Pick her up tomorrow! Just waiting on the Factor 55 Pro Link Loaded Thimble & Factor 55 Hitch Link, both in Red. (Shown with the black Thimble until mine arrives) oh and Smittybilt 3/4" D-Ring Black Pair - Offsets the Red very nicely!
