I'm not sure if I care what mopar releases for the 10A I think this is no doubt the way to go. The only issue is I doubt I can get to that shop so hopefully they offer a kit/mounting plate and instructions.

I will ask them for sure if they plan on making/offering anything in regards to a kit/mounting plate with instructions when I pick her up tomorrow! Looks way better than anything I have seen to include the advertised "10A winch mock up" which as we know is not even available...... Or better yet when it ever will be?????

Will keep you and the forum updated!

Great article on offroad pressures. Airing down makes for a much better ride for the occupants, better traction/contact as well explained in the article, and is easier on the trail as well. You do have to be mindful of your line of travel to avoid rocks and other obstacles that are likely to poke a hole in your sidewall, but you should be doing that regardless. Thanks for sharing!

Never good to under inflate, but do know that the 43 suggested is high. Cold PSI of 35-38 will give you a better ride and handling, as well as put more tread in contact with the pavement. I haven't done a chalk test yet, but someone here has, and his results showed 35-36 cold PSI is about right. In normal operation onroad, you'll be at 38+ at running temp.

Thanks Positrak, I needed some encouragement.

There is now more to the story. The 10A in question, under contract, is not yet sold to anyone. Never was. The local dealer made a fraudulent deal, and lied about. They also reported the Jeep sold and delivered to us, as of 4 June, in the system. The other dealer is willing to sell the 10A to me, at full MSRP though. $3600 higher, and who knows what on the 09 JKUR trade.

Jeep/Chrysler has assigned it to a case manager. The regional Chrysler rep is stopping by the other dealer and is being brought in to this. Both IAMJEEP and the sales manager have said they have never heard of such a thing happening. That dealership is pissed too. The IAMJEEP rep called the shady dealer and got blown off. I am waiting to see how the case manager gets treated, now that it was escalated.

There is a very, very slim chance for resolution on the 10A. There is also a deal being worked on a JKUR about 6 hours from here. I will be almost $5k ahead of the lost deal, but no 10A. And Depending on the trade. Add another $3600 if I want to pay sticker for the 10A. Can't take that big a bath on it.

I may be burning a local bridge but they lit the match. And the Army will move me in a year. I will be happy if I get the JKUR, but will get pissed about it every time I see a 10A. And jealous. I should have ordered in April when I started too.

I AM happy for you guys though. Thanks for the shoulder to cry on.

@Rmcroslin
What a shame...I thought stealership business would have improved after the crash but I guess I not. I too had to go across the bridge to find a dealer that will work with me.

Hey guys, just curious if the 10A is still available for order considering the 2014s are starting to ship.

I saw that a Rubicon X was mentioned earlier in this thread. Is there anymore info on this as well?

Also, how pleased are you guys with the 10A as far as ride & comfort as this would be my daily driver. The last Jeep I had was a 2003 TJ w/ a 4" lift.

I am using my 10A to go to work and for the weekends too. Initially I was hesitant since my daily commute was on a small Audi that I love and that is very comfortable. The ride is definitively different for me because the difference in heights of both cars and the speed that I can get on a highway but other than that I think my overall impression has been very positive. I decided to use my 10A pretty much all the time and leave my Audi in the garage for a while. Besides my Jeep is definitively more fun!!

From what I heard, orders for the 10A closed May 23rd. There are some in lots across the country. But it seems you can get just about everything on the 2014 Rubicon X that the 10A has on it, with more color options to boot. As far as the ride for me, its rides as can be expected for a Jeep 4 x 4. Good Luck

Not a problem, I will definitely be paying a visit to the dealership this weekend to check it out. I am coming from a 2012 Ford Raptor so I imagine it will be a different cup of tea. The Raptor ride is nice and floaty...

Sweet!.. Great combination, do the tires stick out past the fenders (flairs)?
also do you have a front on picture you could share?

Mopar Bike Rack

Can anyone who has a 10A respond to this? Does the Mopar Bike rack which apparently fits through the center of the spare wheel, work on a 10A? Would it work on that wheel?

I am looking at a bike rack and can get the Mopar one at no charge from a buddy.

Thanks.

By the way, my 10A is still listed as "Production Scheduled." I was told it would be ready to ship by June 21, but I have my doubts. All I can do is wait and think about what gear to buy.

After it gets to "frame", the build goes quickly. I think it took a few days for most of us here.

As long as it is not pulled for a lengthy post-build inspection, you could go from frame to ship in two or three days.

Thanks man... I really considered the Anvil over and over. I just noticed many people were ordering it and there was some speculation as to how gray, green, or blue it really was so I decided to go safe and be a little unique. Your's looks great I'm sure you are happy. I just imagined this jeep w the general grabbers and couldn't get over how well the white and red went together. To be honest I really thought the black and red went great as well but I didn't want to deal w the black paint.... Good luck w yours.... Congrats on your purchase!!!

Thank you
I got lucky and saw anvil at the auto show. Together with the red, I was sold. Before that, I was sure my next vehicle was going to be white. The white looks really good. I think you got a great Jeep.

Just got her home from Xtreme Outfitters Phase III of ? (Still unknown)

1 - You can lock the High Lift Jack as shown.

2 - And Xtreme Outfitters will be manufacturing the winch plate and everything necessary with instructions within the week for those interested!

Let me know if anyone has any additional questions......

Very nice, classic mods!! Love the winch, but I'm not sure I would ever use it. I've done many of the same mods as you, but with your most recent post I want to go visit Xtreme Outfitters. Thank God I live in MD and not TX!!

You are killing me! Very nice. The Teraflex carrier is on my list. You got a pic of the camera bracket without the tire mounted? Think that's where mine is going when the NAV-TV arrives. I was going to tack a piece of channel to the tire mount.

Rwilsontx, his mods are just awesome. I predict his mods might surpass the price of his Jeep one day. Green with envy here..
