The hitch d-ring setup is Factor 55. Nice setup, but not cheap.

Headed 6.5 hours to Tucson tomorrow to get another Rubicon 4dr. I can get the 10A we got lied to about with the fake contract from the dealer that owns it for another $3600 and probably a further loss on my trade in. They do auction wholesale at best out here. I am already getting hosed on the trade in, but I wanted to upgrade to the 3.6 and drop the 6 speed. I WILL get the 10A hood. I already have bumpers, winch and other do-dads that came off of my 09. I should have stuck to my original plan and stayed off the 10A bandwagon. That way I could have just been envious of those with a 10A. Now, every 10A I see, will remind me of what happened.

I am happy for everybody that has a Jeep they personally like, no matter what. And I will have a cool new Jeep and a cool old CJ7. I will now be the one with the 10A look-a-like, eventually.

How concerned should I be with getting the 10A leather wet? Anybody know some specs on the leather?

I dunno man, I would wait a bit. There are the last few batches of 10A's arriving on dealer lots across the country. Anyone who was going to buy one has already bought when they initially came out. Means dealers are going to be sitting with these last few. Here two brand new ones for 42,000 dollars, white and the much sought after anvil, still in transit to this dealer in OK

With a little patience and some daily monitoring, pretty sure you can find nearly identical to what you originally wanted and at a fair price. Just plug in the parameters you seek when searching. Remember, you can buy a Jeep or any car for that matter anywhere in the country, its not a big deal if it is out of state

on the nose exactly 1000 miles on the OD, jeep has broken in 100% now, perfectly, no more engine braking, high revs, slow throttle response, just perfect. Shift points spot on, power there, mpg up to spec. Anyone feeling theirs is "odd" just wait till you hit 1000 miles (automatics of course).

I saw someone with 35 tires on 10ae wheels. It looked great.
Is there a reason people get new wheels with larger tires?

Backspacing. When I upgraded to 315/70/17, I would have had rubbing, or have to get spacers. I don't really trust them, so I was forced to get wheels with 4.5 backspacing.

I had an emergency at work and turn the wheels over off of a U Turn, I didn't try, just needed some harder acceleration... Surprised me...1. Power and 2. The electronics did kick in with some nanny setting. Just over 1000 miles, the adaptive transmission is a bit of a mystery yet.

I am still so in love with her (10A)!! She gives me what I need every time we are together!! :-). She's getting a good waxing later today!

Well so much for being the only one in my area with a 10a. I was driving through town and saw two two doors on the lot so stopped in to see. One is a black on red the other billet on red. Both auto and with the regular CD player. Asking 41 which is way too high but I was just curious. The sales man came out and looked at mine and said let me show u the one I just got. He had the exact one I ordered but in anvil. First anvil I've seen in person and it is much better in person. Still glad I went with the black but it was nice. He payed 46k for his and was mad that I went to his competitor and paid 44k. That and one more billet two door was orders where I got mine. O and the wife swears she saw a white one in town but I've yet to see it.

I hate to ask what has likely been answered, other than Maximus 3, who makes a winch plate? Who has one available?

Maximus has theirs. Per a post in the last 24 hours here, Xtreme Outfitters will be making the one that allowed for concealed mounting seen in the posts leading up to it, a few have fabbed custom, and Mopar supposedly has one coming "soon".

heh so this rare yellow McLaren is farting around the hood 2 cars in front of me , zig-zagging in the lane, we're all going very low speed, see that in front of it is an SUV with the back open and 3 guys facing outwards with a camera trained on it. Then they pull a U turn and we pass each other by...you think all 3 and the driver didn't crane theirs necks as the 10A cruised by?

still not happy with these KM2's, brief visit to construction site yesterday, had to pull over after exiting at a gas station and creep around all 4 tires to pluck embedded gravel stones from the treads. Stuck all over each tire. Very annoying. Need some sort of stick or something for the key chain to achieve this chore, using the jeep key itself I fear will mess it up to the point it doesn't work anymore.

Who's the clown at BFGoodrich that came up with this tread design?

Pseudo, where in NY u located, I'm in white plains.

I'm putting 35's on the stock rims, basically I saw how good they looked with a 2" lift. For me it's the look. It'll finally be done next week (parts were on backorder). I'll post pictures.

All I can say TooShort is you will not be sorry with that crew! Most down to earth people I have had the pleasure of dealing with in a LONG time! Absolutely NO problems with anything they have done!

Like you One Punch I'm not sure if I'll have a "need" to really ever use the winch but it "looks" cool and it's there should I need it.... And yea you are lucky Xtreme Outfitters are not close by. Bad for the wallet! I've had her back 1 day and am scheduling the next Phase! Truck Lites & Tereflex Differential covers powder coated! BUT I can say it's the best money I've ever spent!

I have looked for some sort of repair manual and all I can find is a Haynes for years 1986-2011. Is this really all that there is and would a 2011 JK repair manual be the same for a 2013?

The engine changed in 2012-2013, so no, not the same. No idea if there is anything else out there as I haven't looked.

The engine and transmission changed in 2012, so I would say don't waste your time and money on the Haynes manual. You can buy the service manuals from the dealer or probably online, but don't be shocked to see a price tag pushing a couple hundred bucks by the time you're done.

There is a vendor, moparonlineparts.com, that should be able to get you a good deal on the manuals, although I could not seem to find them on their site.
