No leaks when my hard top is on but I bought a Bestop NX and have had a leak in the front passanger. One trip to Home Depot for some window seal strip and I think I filled the spot. You don't even know the strip is there.

Can you post a pic on where you added the weather strip. Mine leaks a little on passenger side. Water follows the door weather seal at the A-pillar and when it gets to the bottom it trickles inside.

I think it should correct it Doc. I'm still looking at different lifts/tires/wheels, but probably will work on getting a winch, and then work slowly ahead. I have the lifetime warranty so I must work closely with the dealer as I proceed. Glad you have no leak issues.

Mine does this as well, its actually really obvious and I hate it. One if the things I hope goes away when I put it up 2.5" with AEV lift.

Best price I'd located was ~$2K for the rebadged Warn 9.5cti-s (which is under $1500 normally), and nearly $400 for the mounting plate (Maximus wants $179). Have you found better? As much as I want that factory combo, I think I'm going to go with a Warn Zeon 10s ($1150) and the Maximus package with centering plate and vacuum pump relocation, all netting me savings for use on something else.

Chrysler appreciates your business, and it has "Tenth Anniversary" on it.

Ouch. That is about what I had seen as well. I'll be in to a very capable winch (Warn Zeon 10s) and plate (Maximus) for about $1K less than that. I'm an admitted hardcore fanboy of the 10A, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Congrats on making it happen, you win the Authentic Award!

More power to ya buddy but there's just no way I can justify that for a winch and plate. I can get a whole new bumper and a Zeon for around that price so I'm gonna go that route. I'm sure it'll be rare until Chrysler comes out with the special Rubi X winch (sorry couldn't resist). I'm still pretty pissed at Chrysler over the whole 10A/Rubi X thing so it's gonna be awhile before they get any of my money.

Funny how today was the first time I document "no leaks" and I got a damn leak. Passenger side and 95% sure its coming from a improperly compressed top windshield/soft top gasket. The end right by the door that has like ribs on it than angle towards the A pillar. I think it will either need to be replaced or maybe heated up and then carefully clamping down the soft top to compress it correctly.

I had the same problem it's comming in from the seam in the back part of the top and the freedom panels then coming into the car from the round locking knobs

A '14 Rubicon X Window Sticker. $45,605....

I'd much rather have a 10A, for that kind of money, but we're perfectly happy with the ol' tan Sahara for now though.

No worries one punch, we have the limited original. I am sure there will be lots of try to be copies, I am even sure one will take an X and fit it with the remaining missing parts and badging. If it makes them feel good so be it. I absolutely love my 10A, there for it doesn't matter what Chrysler does now with future models or colour or badging.

There's no way in hell someone will spend the money to install the unique 10A instrument cluster. They probably couldn't even buy one without the VIN.

What's that saying, "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery!" I know only a few over 5k can say they have the original, but I figured Jeep/Chrysler would keep some of the accents unique for more than 4~5 mos. As I said before, I love my 10A and love how it turns heads. Just spent two week in OBX and had a blast!!

Winch guys/girls. I saw that the minimum recommended battery CCA for the Warn 9.5 CTI-S winch is 650 CCA (winch specs). Our 10A's have a 600 CCA battery, so what's up with that? So they are marketing a specific winch for our Jeep, and it comes with a less capable battery than recommended by the winch manufacturer? Gosh, seems like one thing after another. (I thought the Rubicon's came with "upgraded" everything).

Send a message via AIM to zerinS4
It's missing the lift, KM2s, and a bunch of the interior tribute touches. Be happy with what you have, the X isn't any lesser of a vehicle than ours, and the same applies the other way around. We have some nice touches the X owners won't have out of the box.
