Randomly parked next to a CofW rubi yesterday at work. Pictures show it some but the way the 10a sits an minor lift etc sure is noticeable and really makes it stand out. Got me thinking that i'd be a bit disappointed if hadn't gotten a 10a and would be getting an X, coming from someone who doesn't plan on making crazy mods. If doing lift etc then really no difference to the buyer.

Warn 10A Winch

Here are photos of the dealer installed special Warn 10A winch. It took one technician 6.5 hours to install. And he has previous winch installation experience. Out the door price was $2842.70 plus a tip to the tech. There is a red hook safety strap not shown in the pictures. I don't care about the price. It's flat out cool!

Thanks for posting pics! I got the mount and had a CTI winch sitting around so didn't buy the package. The fairlead was something I was looking to buy but now I see its not the same as what I thought it was... Bummer...
Anyway 6.5 hours is a really long time LOL didn't take me that long and the only thing I didn't do, which I plan is the plastic piece along the back. I didn't grind it out yet and had to pick up new clips as I could not get the old ones out in one piece I like the black synthetic line with the red hook. I had a blue one with a safety thimble. Do you need to mount a license plate? If so, how do you plan to put it on?

Here is a pic of what mine looks like with a Procomp light bar mounted in the stock holes. Its center but looks off because of the winch.

The Maximus-3 centering plate is only for a centered winch, not the 10A winch, it's off center

Actually they make a Front Trim Plate for the off center mounting. It looks like the centering plate but off centered.

I think it looks great as wellI was supposed to have mine installed yesterday.... wrong winch ordered by dealerAnd then again today... wrong again I had to bring the flyer in that Pat from Fields had posted awhile back so we could get the correct winch ordered. A couple more weeks I guess I really do like it congrats.

Just bought the ZEON 10S and Maximus 3 plate
For less than 1/2 of that. It does look good though.

Nice, but you gotta disconnect the front to get some flex!

Great looking winch. I will be getting mine installed next week hopefully. I think it will really blend in with my Black/Red. At first I wasn't so sure about the different fairlead, but each time I look at it I like it more! Strange that its different from the Fact Sheet they put out #156 with pictures.....Thanks for your pictures (my new wallpaper until I get mine). I figure they are only making a few of these things and then no more, and that's special.

How come it has a load limit of 8,000, but is a 9.5?

Chrysler has done this for years with the Power Wagon. Our wagons came with what normally is a 15K warn but Dodge rated it as a 12K for liability purposes

That was my 3rd day owning it, lol. If you watch the YouTube video where that pic came from (you'd see me pause for a solid 15 seconds where my brain is computing "how do I use the sway bar disconnects?" at which point I say out loud "got it!" and back up to engage the button.

My other ride was a ZJ with manual disconnects so the learning curve had to be established. I was just learning the lockers as I pulled up to this feature.

Not my experience - the 10A winch looks like a Warn 9.5cti-s, which is what I have. You can install that winch with the fairlead centered in the 10A bumper. It would fit just like it does in an AEV bumper.

We just got back from American Off-Road and Performance in Simi Valley where they installed the Warn Zeon10S using the Maximus-3 Kit we purchased from Fortec4x4.

The kit needed a little extra love to get it to fit (was missing a few washers, a couple of bolts were too short, the 4 winch plate mounting holes for the winch needed to be enlarged like a 16th of an inch so the winch wasn't touching the back of the bumper). But the American Off-Road guys Brian and John did an awesome job. We love it, and we love how the Maximus kit centers everything up.

WOW, your the first person I've heard from who's posted issues with the Maximus Plate. There was an issue with the relocation Bracket being out by 1/4" on some Brackets. Hope everything goes smoothly for me as this is the same system (Zeon 10S and Maximus 3) I'm going to attempt to install.

I know it fits, but you don't want to run a centered fairlead with an offset winch. The cable/ rope will bunch up on one side of the drum when you bring it in. Just not safe

OK, on the 10A winch above. I tried to find the part number on the plate shown in the pictures above and nothing comes back anywhere?

Is there anything labeled on it that shows it as a CTI-S winch?

It also has a label with 5/16 wire rope? It looks like the Spydura rope on it to me, what size?

I am confused as the Jeep fact sheet (#156) I was given shows it written clearly as a 9.5 CTI-S winch, but does say 8,000 lbs pulling capacity (I understand the liability post above, but isn't this interesting to show it as a 9.5, but with that capacity?
