Ok, I have the Tenth Anniversary winch/mount installed, all else is stock.

I measured from the bottom of the fender well plastic down to the center of the center cap on the wheels. The first measurements are on level ground, low fuel light on and tires at approx. 44 psi: WITHOUT WINCH

RF 21 3/8, RR 21 7/8

LF 21 5/8, LR 22

WITH WINCH: Same area on level ground, 3/8th's fuel, approx. same psi.

RF 20 3/4, RR 21 5/8

LF 21 1/4, LR 21 3/4

I'll let you do the math, and I'd be interested to see if others are close to these numbers under the same conditions. I have a 4 door, hardtop. More change than I had hoped for.

I didn't measure this time but my previous 3 X 4 door Rubicons lost 1/4. I have a WARN 9500 CTI with a synthetic rope. When I installed it on my last jeep I installed it with the steel cable then took it off and measured. It was a sliver different if at all. 1/2 inch seems a bit much and is probably worse case.
Edit: forgot to add I had the max tow on all of them I can not confirm if the springs are different.
Edit:edit LOL I didn't move the jeep I installed each time and it was measured before and after so same spot on a garage floor same everything else.

Good point, I do have the Max tow. Winch is 66 lbs and mount 16 from what I've seen, but yeah a 1/2" difference is a good bit.

Here is a pic of the bag the spacers came in. As far as the bolts it was some I had laying around, they were about 3/8" longer than the stock ones. I have no idea about the thread size.

Guys, a warning to our Australian enthusiasts:-

STAY AWAY FROM THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY AU MODEL!! IT REALLY REALLY REALLY SUCKS BIG TIME!!

Mine was delivered today and in less than 10 minutes I started desperately trying to give it back.

It is an Overlander with a few of the 10th Anniversary bits fitted by your local "competent" dealer to make it "look" like a Rubicon. Trust me, this is no Rubicon.

Thank God I did not trade my trusted 2010 Rubi for this POS.

After finding all the holes drilled in the body, loose wires, missing bolts, nuts and screws, I am either going to convince them to take it back or its gonna be a long day in court for everyone.

This is a very informative forum.
Thanks for this forum, and especially this thread. Your published experiences help the next in line through the process.

I was in the process of ordering the new 2014 Rubicon X with the 24J package (my paint code wasn't up yet) - it was like teaching play dough to kindergarterners at the dealership. Even some dealers don't seem to understand that the 10A bumpers and hood are Mopar unique whereas the Moab is AEV aftermarket on a Sahara. Like any jeeper, I had specific options I wanted for my driving needs. I did the math and couldn't come up with the same kit on a Rubi with aftermarket to match the 10A. All that time Rubi10A's kept popping up at my local dealers, churn was about 1 - 3 days, some left the lot same day. It was like standing in the layaway line while the store is giving away free product. So I lost patience and got the 2013.

I gave up a perfectly good fully kitted 2012 Overland for a box on wheels - that cost more.
Love it!

The stealer wanted an extra 2k for "demand mark-up", My sales negociation was that the '14 Rubicon X with 24J package was going to bottom out this demand for the 10A. No complaints on the final deal.

One more Black on Red Rubi10A JKU hits the road.
Thanks.

I'm sure I'll be back with questions (there are presently OEM parts all over my garage floor).
Next stop, Rallye Lights, Trektop Twill, Dually D2, Maximus winch, wrap/skin.

I'm thinking of adding the AEV 2" Spacer Suspension Kit to my 10A. Has anyone installed a spacer kit on their 10A yet.

Speaking of AEV, has anyone had an official AEV JK351 package put on a 10a 2-door. That's what I am thinking I will do.

I haven't seen one... I'm considering doing the same but using a TeraFlex 1" in the front and 0.5" in the rear. Just enough to accomodate 34" tires and retain the same wheel opening proportions. Then address the front end dive with a good set of shocks - Fox... or maybe something adjustable.

Our 10A's are factory lifted 2" in the front and 1" in the rear.

Installing the TeraFlex spacers will bring it to 2.25" lift overall.

This is just under what the my dealer says is safe without affecting other components. However, I would install Teraflex HD track bars front and rear, and a G8 bolt kit to tighten things up. I would also look at the need for anti-sway bar link extentions. It was confirmed our 10A's are the same as a regular Rubicon.

If you do this with 2" spacers, take measurements, and before and after pics - and post up the results.

Saw a fellow 10A with Arkansas plates on I-25 today, just south of Denver. Originally being from Arkansas...thought that was pretty cool!.

Tuff Wheels

Anyone have any experience with the Tuff T01's? They have red inserts and look like they would look great on a 10thA Anvil. I was wondering if the plastic inserts are junky? Doesnt sound like a good idea but they look awesome in pics.

No experience but the color scheme is very cool. I think I have a major aversion to fake bolts on wheels so I wouldn't go with them personally but I would imagine those inserts are plastic and stuck on. I hope someone can chime in to say if they are truly a hard part bolted on as that would be a different story.

Looks a bit like the Black Rubicon Express Hawse that I have from Quadratec, with a Black Factor55 thimble. Will post up a pic later.
