The rears are easily reversible, simply bolt on parts changes. The front requires cutting the original bumpstop mount, so reversing the process would require welding.

No worries here, once you've installed the speed bumps on the front you will never want to reverse the mod. They make everything from pot holes to obstacles a whole new experience. The vehicle is much more enjoyable to drive with these installed. If you don't like Teraflex, there are several other vendors with similar units, such as JKS. King and others have hydraulic and/or air bumpstops which perform even better, but also have a price premium. All of them require cutting which can only be reversed by retaining the cut section and welding it back on.

Wheels I'm vacillating on a set of Fuels I like and a couple of different bead locks. Can't decide if the extra spend is worth it.

I did go with the River Raider steel skid set (+Evap) and they are well made and have already proven their worth. The install is a challenge, but the result is solid. As close as I am to their shop, I probably sold have just had them do the install, but my stubbornness got the best of me. PSC Bombshell diff covers will round out the armor.

I also have a 50" Black Box Logistics LED ready with PSC mounts, and am still deciding on a set of floods for A-pillar install.

So, the work continues, and the Jeep keeps draining, but I keep having fun and smiling!

Sounds like a plan! I think the work never ends as I still keep finding things I'd like to have for the Jeep.

First time postin bout my JKU10a Anvil. Havent done anything to her yet but just got my wheels back from the powder coat shop. Looking to get some 34s or 35s in there. Mainly DD this thing so I dont need a long arm kit or nothin crazy.

What are your alls experience with lifts on the 10a? I know its been debated, just not trying to put junk on this wrangler. Appreciate the help.

If you don't want/need the little 10Th anniversary sticker, you can install a Warn 9.5 CTI-S with the Maximus-3 mount for less than 2K and the fairlead will be centered as well as the winch.

It's the same winch with a different sticker in the mopar kit. Also the Mopar kit mounts the winch off-center to the left along with the fairlead being off-center.

I used the 9.5 CTI which is a steel line that cost me less than the $1199.00 price advertised due to an e-bay make offer vendor as well as a rebate which was running from Warn. But still at retail the steel line unit is $1199 and the rope version is $1499. The maximus plate, centering plate and vac pump relocation bracket are $275.99. So this route totals $1774.99 for the same thing as the mopar kit at $2469.70. A difference of $694.71 before labor.

Is the sticker really worth that kind of coin. As well as the asthetics of the unit being off-center.

Since 10a's have some aev parts already, I went with aev's 2.5 inch dual sport XT lift and geometry correction brackets. It fits 35 inch tires nicely and has an awesome on road ride.

Thanks. Ive been looking at AEV's 3.5 inch kit. Seems like a lot of hate on the relocation brackets. Was going to do the TF 8 arm kit...pretty pricey. Like the Metal Cloak stuff too.

GoWarn.com has the 9.5cti-s down to $1449, free ship, and free gift. Zeon 10s is $1149.

BTW, my sentiments exactly on the sticker...

When I get around to lifting, I will go with the new MetalCloak 2.5 JK variant and 34 - 35 inch BFG KM2s. It is in my future, just not sure when I want to do it. Part of me wants to do it now, but another part of me wants to put some more miles on the stock tires before taking them off. Secondly, after reading all the various horror stories about post-lift troubles, it also gives you pause when considering doing it. I love the way the Jeep drives now, and I would hate to ruin that. Either way, when it comes time to do the lift, I want to spend the money to do it right.

On the other hand, I am still trying to convince the wife I need a Supercharger, and I might be making a little headway. If I get her to agree to that, then I would do that first and do the lift / new rubber later on, heh.

And with a Supercharger, you'll need those new treads sooner than without! Nice tactic!

I hear you. Love my 10A. Know I will like it lifted, and hear so much good about MC, so opted to go for it. There's a non-10A JKer with 35s under the 3.5" here locally, and he raves about it. Will keep you posted!

Yeah, I am interested to hear how you make out with the MetalCloak. I am glad they finally came out with the 2.5 springs for the 2dr, because I really wanted to go with them, but I did not want to go much higher in lift.

For now, a 2.5 lift with 34 - 35 inch tires is plenty for my purposes. Maybe some time down the road, when / if I get another DD (and use the Jeep for occasional driving / more offroading), I would consider going higher and bigger, but for now, not needed.

In Canada, the 10A winch is $3250!!!!! WTF. So on Amazon I see the Warn 9.5CTI-S as $ $1500, however I really like this RED piece that the rope goes through. Anyone know how to get that? Or is it part of the winch and I cannot get it?

Maximus-3.com has a red hawse available. Shop GoWarn.com for your winch too.

That's one if the great things about the Spidy Shade. Yes, you can put the hardtop over it. Just make sure the balls are all out if the way. Check their website as they may have some tips, don't recall.
