Unfortunately, I failed coloring-within-the-lines back in kindergarten. So, for me, painting the letters is out. That's why I was hoping that someone had pre-cut red vinyl letters I could just stick.

They have had such for decades for the name embossed into the rear bumpers of Mustangs ("Mustang", "Mustang GT", or "Cobra").

Update on whether or not the AEV 2" spacer lift works with 35's with the 10A's. I spoke to someone who has a 10A and ran the lift with 35's. He said he has no issues unless he has maximum passengers and gear in his Jeep. In that case he'll get a slight rub when he hits a big dip on the driver rear fender area.

Question, 2 or 4 door and metric or full 35" tire? I was asking because I was planning on running my JKU with 10A springs, my TF leveling kit and 315/70/17's and was hoping I would be good for mall crawling with that setup.

1st code P0520 thrown on the 10A. Oil pressure sensor/switch at 9100 miles. Dropped off tonight and hope they'll fix for our weekend trip! Looks like lots of folks seeing this. Dude at the service counter said it could be 3 things.

anyone with auto trans & 4.10 rear axle ?

since day 1 of delivery , I have had :
VIBRATION noise that sounds to be coming from exterior rear of vehicle ,
possibly passenger side rear wheel well ?? not sure ??
VIBRATION occurs when stopping , during the final revolution of the wheel
before stop , ( last couple of feet before stop )
Beside being HEARD ,the VIBRATION is also FELT at the brake pedal , steering wheel ( left hand @ 7 oclock ) and center console ( right arm resting on console )
so far unable to find cause
a friend of mine is supporting a theory that it is the combination
of an automatic transmission with a 4.10 rear axle ratio.

Anyone else experiencing such a VIBRATION that is HEARD & FELT as I do ?

That's been an open question for some time now.

I can easily envision how to make such (clamp thru the rockrails), but as of yet, no one has.

Getting 4.10's but in my 2012 this week which also has the automatic.

I'll let you know if anything similar shows up because of the gear swap.

I have auto with 4.10, no issues I have had yet. Perhaps they need to check the rear axle or suspension components on the rear.

I have tried two other seat covers and finally broke down and ordered the Trek Armors. The quality is excellent except underneath the headrests. I have had mine on for about 4 months, just recently took them off and my seats were clean underneath.

Don't skimp - get the Trek Armor ones!

Here is a video I put together on the install, review and tips and tricks you will need to know.

I'll second the Trek Armor seat covers as well, superb fit and finish and the covers are the best I have seen.

BTW, good install video. I did one of my own here:

You did really good with the camera angles and placement. I can tell you it was tuff finding locations to mount the camera to get a good view of the actions.

Thanks... I used a tripod mount to my rollbar to get some of the angles. Did you paint the headrest latches red or was that factory with your red interior? I like them...

Hey all. Does anyone know if Anvil is still being produced on the Wrangler line? If not when did it end?

Thanks!

Heads up to anyone that ordered the HMC billet 10A receiver plug, they ran out of blanks and more are coming in for them to CNC and get shipped out. I wondered why I had not heard anything after sending money 10 days ago but that is the reason for anyone else wondering what might be up.

430N Voice Commands

I have the 430N in my 10A. when I have an IPOD plugged into the center console USB port I am able to use voice commands to change artist/song. for example I can say "play artist Jimi Hendrix" or "play song stone free" and it works great. but I cant do this with songs on the internal hard drive.
can anyone confirm that voice commands to change artist/song should work with music stored on the internal hard drive?

Hey Doc, off topic but wondering how your Stage 3 lift has worked out, wheels/tires, spare tire carrier? I'm still on the fence and your set-up has been what I've been looking at for some time. Thanks.

So far I can only comment on its road and dirt road behavior and it's superb. I rarely drive on the highway and I had an opportunity to do a few on ramps with some pretty tight turns and the jeep handled them WAY better then stock. Rutted dirt roads are also a joy to drive on fast and I've found pretty similar to that teraflex video where they show stock suspension vs prerunner kit. For my primarily daily driven jk this suspension on 35's is perfect for me. Granted my experience in lifted JKs is limited to this kit so take my opinion for what it's worth. I wanted enough lift to be able to flex out 35's, ride great on road where I spend most of my time, be very low maintenance, and barrel down some dirt roads I have around me. For the one trip to Rausch I will make a year I hope this suspension performs as well there.

My only complaint with the teraflex tire carrier is how difficult it is to open and close the gate now. It's really FIRM. my wife is funny as she will open it to put something in and then just leave it open because it's almost too stiff for her 100lb frame to close. I hope that loosens up a bit or maybe I'll call teraflex to see if they have a solution.

The Mopar lift gets criticized for its price but in my calculation you would pay slightly more for the same suspension with adjustable arms and the soeedbumps so I don't see where everyone gets on it for that. I wanted low maintenance arms and I don't plan on changing lift height so see no need for adjustability as long as the arms length has been tuned specifically for this application/kit.

So far I've researched my mods before purchase that I have zero regrets or would do anything differently. Taller would be even more difficult to hop up in, shorter and 35's may require trimmed fenders.

My next steps are brake upgrade and then a couple years or so of enjoyment before I'm willing to pay to play for forced induction. Mine is unabashedly not a full on trail rig but my goal was to make sure that it's fully capable of holding its own for the rare occasion I get out and so far I'd say its successful so far.

Doc......somebody suggested to put 35's with 2.5. Lift. Is that feasible or even worth it on our 10th As???

Thanks
