Thanks! I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

I have the rugged ridge ones....they look good but the passenger side one is useless because it's a flat mirror.....had to replace it with a convex mirror that doesn't match :/

Might post this in the JK discussion forum, more views might help identify the Stinger model.

I've been reading through many pages...on p. 506 now...

But did anyone come to a conclusion regarding the difference between 68024461AA and 68196009AA for the rear springs on the JKUR 10A?

I think you might be right. Going to look into that one. Does look like it took some mods to install, doesn't look bolt on and go ready for the 10A bumper. Anyone on here running this stinger? If so please reply or PM me. Thanks.

That picture is from the 10A Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Owners page on Facebook. Maybe try reposting there and asking?

That is correct, one of the members made this bumper. Join that page and post the question there, that member will respond.

If its the member I'm thinking about I just recently asked him about his on the 10A facebook page, the one he built was modeled after the "Recon Jeep concept". He said it was a lot of welding and installing and more welding....definitely not a bolt on. here is a pic of the concept...

Awesome! Thank you greatly.
I don't do the FaceSpace thing otherwise I would.

Any info on the install would help if anyone knows.

Thanks again!

I posted your question on Facebook, the owner responded that it is the rugged ridge and it took many hours of cutting and welding to install.

Anyone mount rugged ridge hood latches to their 10a? Wondering if there is a trick to adjust them. I have metal on metal at the very top when I close the latch.

Can you get a close-up pic. I was going to install mine this weekend (not a 10A hood tho...) and want to see the issue people are having... Thanks!

3D Mesh Lock Hole Grill Grille Insert Cover FIT 2007-2013 Jeep Wrangler JK

Has anyone used this grill insert on their jeep yet. Wonder if it works with the Mopar hood lock:
Car 3D Mesh Lock Hole Grill Grille Insert Cover Fit 2007 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK | eBay

I think it would look great painted red on an anvil 10a.

If you really want to do this, make your own. Cost me about $10 with parts from Home Depot. I have the write-up and details back earlier in this thread.....actually in the 10th Anniversary mods thread

I bought the same one from a different china seller on Ebay for my 10A with Mopar hood lock and have no complaints. A little bit of a tight fit but stays put without any installation hardware.

I made my own from lathing material at Home Depot, fit it around the hood latch and painted it red - on a black Rubi10A.

Here's the thread with pics - 10th Anniversary Rubicon Mods!!

Casting Sand Issue

Are there any other 10A's out there that have had to have their cooling system replaced because of the dreaded Casting Sand Issue? If so count me in. :-(

Fortunately I have not.....yet. How are they going to get it repaired? A full tear down of your heating/cooling system or just a flush?

They're doing a complete tear down. From what I understand is that they go through a bunch of steps before they get to this point. If each step fails then a full replacement/tear down is authorized.

Question: for those of you who have sold your stock 10a wheels and suspension, what was the going price? I had 17,000 on my jeep before taking off the wheels and suspension. Thanks.

Here are the mods:
- Terraflex long arm kit
- King Off-Road Coil Over Shocks, 2" Diameter, adjustable compression
- King Off-Road Bump Stops
- Rebel Offroad Coilover System
- Method Race Wheels 105 Rims
- Toyo M/T Open Country 37 x 13.50
- J.E. Reel Drive Shafts

Had to cut the back of the rock rail, remove front bumper caps, and rear bumper caps.

Rebel Offroad did a great job on the installation. It drives like a completely different Jeep now. Loving it.

Huge Fan of Method and your rims!

Did you regear? If not, how are the 37" and rim combo in your rig different in drive? A lot less gpm?

Nope, didn't regear. Running 4.10s. Haven't taking it on the highway yet, so not sure on the gpm drop. Currently averaging 10.1 with city driving and offroad, which is about a 2 gpm drop from stock (still 1st tank of gas since the mod, so not super accurate). Rebel Offroad is recommending 4.88 or 5.13s to get the gpm back up, but would sacrifice the top speed. Might add that to my phase II list.

Overall the jeep drives great. The Toyo's pull to the right a bit. Still figuring out the adjustable shocks.
