Pretty sure it's 1685 for dual top and 1000 for painted top msrp or 2390 combined at invoice.

After some thought, I think I'll just go with the black top (if I go with the dual top at all). I like the contrast and it's a bit cheaper. But mainly for the looks.

Anyone change their orders and if so howd it go. I may want the dual top now, but I'm not gonna pay full invoice lol. I don't need it that bad I'm fine with the soft top.

I beat myself up trying to decide whether to go with the dual top or just a painted, color matching. It was a difficult choice. I went with the color matched top. Yesterday, i saw a Sahara with the same color set-up and it was pretty awesome, and that's without the red interior, red accents, badging, etc......so i'm gonna be happy, very happy. Darn GPS beat me up too, but finally went with the 730 as the cost wasn't that much difference. It's going to be an eternity getting this thing!!!!

Drtdvl,

I have not seen that review on this thread before. Thank you for posting! I have a couple of thoughts:

- the author thought the diff. lock switch should be where the power window switches are. I disagree with him. I think he needs to consider which buttons gets used more.

- he thinks the red tow hooks should be rattle-canned black. I think he was high while pounding away at the key board.

- he thinks the hood is ugly. Oh yeah!? I think he is ugly!

- the best part (for me) is that I get to see what Anvil looks like when it is dirty! Fortunately, the color does not go all pear-shaped when coated with dust.

- the reviewer does not go into any real driving experience. He basically gives an overview of the Jeep, and bakes in his commentary of the 10A peculiar components. Honestly, it's a bit of a low-value review... But I can't get enough of my future rig!!

Thanks again for posting.

I went with the black top, dual top group with the anvil color, but the Matching Anvil hardtop looks pretty good.

So after seeing as many pics of Anvil that we have, (mixtures of a baby blue-green, blue-gray, Brute trash can etc) is everyone that ordered Anvil still all-in about their choice?

I know the color is one that changes in different brightness, and we might not have seen the real color, but a baby blue doesn't seem like a real hardcore off-road vehicle color....

I like the color of anvil in the post right before mine!

Yep, a leap of faith. And either way, if I really hate it, it will not be hard to sell!

I hope the Anvil is a bit more blue. I have a Cosmos blue that is being returned to Chrysler due to severe leaking-not seal, top or door(must be frame). The best part is being able to upgrade my '12 to the '13 10A. Wish we'd kept all the other Jeeps we had thru the years as we'd have a great collection.

I know Anvil orders are having some issues with scheduling, but other than Anvil orders how many have recieved their VIN number and are showing as scheduled on the VOTS system?

How are you guys set up to get emails from Chrysler about order status? Does my dealer need to add my email address in the system or something?

They took my e-mail address as part of the order process. Typed it into the system as part of the order.

I haven't recieved one email yet. Probably because I'm Anvil.

Weird...you don't look Anvil...must be the lighting. I have been reading that Anvil looks very different under different lighting conditions.

Archerace, can you tell us if only one of each black, white and billet went down the line yesterday or were there multiple units?

I ordered a black one on 01/24 and my dealer gave me an eight digit VON a couple days later. However, I have not received an official email from Jeep nor does my VON show up in VOTS yet.

I was told it could take a week or two before the VON shows up in the system.

I have 2 of them sitting right in front of me. Both are anvil. I don't recall what the differences are with the regular Rubicons. What would you like me to look at?

Is there a spacer on the shock or spring like a budget boost or do the springs and shocks go full length to the attachment points.

So essentially what method did they use for the .5 inch lift.

I've been glued to this thread for weeks now. Your advice, answers, and insight have been truly invaluable. After flip-flopping between black and red seats for the past two weeks, I finally went to my dealer today and put down a deposit on a 10A Rubi:

Unlimited
Auto tranny
Anvil (I think we've seen enough pics now to know what we're in for)
Black seats (nothing like waiting until the very last minute, right?)
4.10 without tow package (thanks for saving me $300)
Supplemental Airbags, 730N, and Auto temp control

$40,622 total (1% under invoice, thank you Tread Lightly)
Walked out the door with my VON

I was going to get the smoker's group for the extra 12V cigarette plug someone mentioned earlier in the thread. My dealer stated the smoker's group just adds the physical lighter to the receptacle and adds an ash tray. It doesn't' give you an extra 12V plug.

Thanks again!

Well, Jeep did say that the 0.5 inch lift was due to a different spring. I say ground truth time, baby!

Hey Pat! What's the word on these? Where are they headed? Are they customer orders? Test builds? Corporate?

And since I feel like I've been lurking in the shadows this month, taking and not contributing, I thought I'd post my crudely photoshopped pic of the Anvil/black seats. It was the final item that made me choose black over red seats (and even then, I almost changed my mind and went with red literally while sitting at the dealer's desk today).

I don't see a budget boost in there. the springs have a different part number then a standard Rubicon. my guess would be it is the springs
