I find myself checking my home email a few times a day from work, looking and hoping for something from Jeep about my order.

Not sure why my dealer can see changes in the status of my order, but not a single email from Jeep about any of those changes.

So I'm assuming the black leather will have white stitching? Anyone know what the stitching will be like on the console and the steering wheel? My dealer was able to push a black leather 10a through today. I guess he knows someone who could pull a few strings. Thankfully!!

Hi I was Informed that i will notified. When the production starts. That will be in March and my saleslady will keep me posted.
On the Jeep site or somewhere It Said the 10a will be out in Spring 2013

When they call me that will be cool. I Have best of both worlds because I Am Trading My 2013 Rubicon for the 10a.
It's the waiting game.

Assuming the Black seats are actually factory leather, the black leather = Black stitching on the seats and elsewhere throughout the interior.

Previous posts on here have said the stitching when you select the black seats will be black, everywhere.

Pilot build meaning test product or something shipping out to manufacturers or a dealer later on?

Just out of curiosity, what ends up happening to the "pilot builds" and the other 10A's that have already been built? Do they end up being sold to the public eventually, or are they only used for testing / development / crash test and such?

So archer, you've seen at least two of each color come through as pilot/sold builds in the last two weeks?

With that said, was contemplating these wheels and 33" tires and maybe a smalllll life, like a leveling kit or budget boost. Any thoughts? (figure this is a little more stimulating than VOTS)

I'm thinking the same thoughts. Maybe the TF leveling kit and some 33s and stock wheels with wheel spacers. I think it will look great.
I agree! Much more fun and stimulating.

My plan is to keep my 10A looking pretty OE. I want to upgrade the lights. I also want to keep the stock wheels and bump the KM2s up as big as I can and add the AEV 2.5 lift. Essentially what Moabite has done (sorry ). I was good on road behavior, a slightly more aggressive look and do a little wheeling a couple times a year (seems criminal not to, since I'm buying a Rubicon and live a couple hours from the namesake trail). Other than that - not going to mess with it much.

That's pretty exciting Archer! Thanks for the news! I don't know if I'd mind red switches for the lockers and discos. That could be cool.

Wondering they're just testing to see how they like them.

It shouldn't be but about two "more" weeks before you see them start down the line in volume.

Question, do these come down the line in individual colors, or do they run in groups of black, white etc.?

I was driving through town tonight and stopped by the local dealer, they just happened to have a 2dr rubi on the lot. That thing was 36950 on the sticker, my 10a is only 39165 and that is with dual tops which this one did not have. Man did we get a good deal on these things!

Dick Cepek Radial Fun Country (FC) II = tires
AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) pintler (style) beadlock (mounting system) wheels.

So I mounted this type tires to this type wheels and will have them dynamically balanced in the morning, to put on my 10A when it arrives, in place of the factory items.

Thats about as far as I can break it down, unless you prefer a text book explanation which can be "really" long. LOL

Shhhhh, dont advertise it too loud... But that 36950 sticker would get another 4,000 off of it, so it would be 32950.

So I really want to add the Warn winch to my 10A, but this will be my daily driver. Any way to secure these from getting stolen? Weld the bolts? Something else?

The 10a comes with some sort of alarm system. I am not familiar with what kind of system it might be so don't know if it has motion or proximity sensors or what. I have had my superwinch on my 09 for almost 4 years with no problems but then again I do live in a rural area. Main problem around here is hail, so I just had a portable garage delivered to protect my new one when it arrives.

We have a front plate in Illinois. The front license plate is just attached to pre-spotted holes in the front bumper. Those holes have to be drilled. The visible holes you see are from the cover plate that was removed so that the hawse fairleigh could be installed. There appears to be little room for a license plate if the winch is installed. You will still need a place for the front license plate. I have not decided where or if I'm attaching a front plate. I'm going to instruct my dealer when my 10A arrives, NOT to drill any holes into the front bumper until I can personally inspect it because I want to add the winch and not have holes all over the place.

Good question, mine will be parked at the airport a decent amount of the time (parking garage, not in the open), so I certainly need to make sure the winch is secure. Last thing I need is the winch getting stolen while I'm out on business. I would have to assume the winch is not all that easy to install/remove in a quick manner because of how solid it's mounted (not to mention it weighs about 100lbs).
