Hey guys,
Thought that I would start this thread in anticipation of the 2013 Anniversary Rubicon.
Im excited to see what Jeep has come up with to make this Rubicon "limited".
Hopefully its more than just some AEV bolt ons like the COD was.

Please feel free to post what you believe it might look like or any info you may have on it.

Hopefully Pat will post some info this month on this thread about the new Rubi.

If this Rubi is as great as I hope, Ill be trading my fully moded 2012 JKUR in on one.

Have a question, that I know has been asked before. I have read every post in this entire thread while waiting on my 10A. I have it now. It's great , I love it. So here is my question? I don't care for the stock rims. Want to change for the AEVS, 17x8.5, they have a 5.2 inch backspace. I don't want to lift, but I want to put on larger tires. How large a tire can I put on with no issues, 285s, 295s?

Thanks

Has anyone posted the 10A spring PNs to verify the distinction of the 10A model?

Those of you that installed lifts, please post the PNs of your take offs.

I'm already seeing 1/2" sag up front.

Thanks

Just wanted to say....The juice is definatly worth the sqeeze! Raining all day today here in Okeechobee, FL. Got black and its beautiful! Will clean it up this weekend and post some pics. To those who are still waiting.... its worth every second....all the time thinking about it... all the ups and downs. Its worth the wait. Took delivery at lunch today took a little less than one hour, got a full tank of gas, and finance guy suprised me with a great rate of 1.99%. I walked in with a check in hand because the previous sales manager told me I quailfied for 6-7%. So I went elsewhere and got financing. So I saved a couple percent and am very happy. Good luck to all those still waiting.

Woke up to the "D" status e-mail this morning. Although it appears the dealer misspelled my last name and used my work e-mail instead of my personal address. I can deal with getting the follow on mails at work, but I'm getting conflicting information from IAMJEEP on how to get the last name sorted. I'd like to get this spelled correctly as (I believe) this is what shows up on the window sticker on the "Made exclusively for <NAME>" line on the window sticker, right?

The first person I spoke to before I got the D email a few days ago said they could update the name, and then tonight after receiving the email the next person at IAMJEEP said I have to call my dealer to get this sorted. Anyone know who the correct person to do this actually would be?

Just wondering what kind of rates people were able to get with Chrysler Financial??

TIA
Not sure about Chrysler Financing, but many people going through Credit Unions (myself included) are getting between 1 and 2%, depending on the CU.

Some of the credit unions people have discussed on here can be joined by almost anyone for a small fee. I do not remember the names off hand, as I used my work's credit union.

10a Trip Report - NYC Hwy's

Just got back from driving thru the Bronx. The 10a drove awesome on the highway. Averaged between 65-70 mph, 16.8 mpg, 170 miles round trip, about 600 on the odometer, and even got above 80 mph on one section. The only trouble she had was on the Van Wyck Expressway, which is like a minefield. She was bouncing every which way at 40 mph, but my wife said that it looked like the people in a taxicab in the next lane were hitting their heads on the roof of the car, so it is probably not a 10a thing. Overall, I think the 10a drives better than my wife's Liberty.

Review of the 730n: I was trash talking the 730n last week, but after spending more time with her, I am growing to appreciate her a bit more. While driving thru the Bronx, I had both the 730n's navigation and a Garmin Unit guiding me. The Garmin is much easier to read; it auto zooms based on upcoming turns, shows your speed, lane assist graphics, and other good information. The 730n did none of that. But, when there was traffic ahead, the 730n did not bat an eye, but immediately gave me directions around it with no input on my part; all the Garmin did was tell me that there was a 30 minute delay ahead. So the 730n may look like a grandma compared to the Garmin interface, but that grandma can read a map and give directions like no other.

Looking at the Grand Cherokee SRT site (2014 Grand Cherokee SRT - The Ultimate Performance SUV | driveSRT), it looks like the Navteq maps still look the same on the upgraded system, so I guess that says a lot about it.

FYI, as of Monday afternoon, Suresky in Goshen NY has a gray 2-door 10A on the lot, priced at 41200.
We dropped off my S-I-L there Monday, she was picking up a leftover '12 2-dr Sahara in Black Forest Green.
While waiting I drooled over the 10A... ;)
