A few signatures that cost a few $$$ I'm sure...

I checked out a few AEV builds at one of the dealers in our area, very nice looking pieces of kit, wish I had the room in the budget for it.

Please tell me the Hemi in that AEV has solid gold pistons! Good grief, I have been thinking about something just a bit "neater" than my '13 Rubicon but $90k is a bit on the strong side.

It's ridiculous but they build them because people will buy them. I had the same reaction when I looked at Escalades and even Suburbans and Tahoe's. Prices are getting ridiculous on vehicles, plain and simple.

Hell, I've been having a hard time swallowing the price tag on the JKUR!

That's the truth as well. At least the Jeeps have some resale value. As soon as the Cadi, Suburban or Tahoe leave the lot, they have lost so much in depreciation it's unreal.

Remember this price reflects how this jeep was built. You can chose your build. Also remember if you were to build it yourself and take time to do it the warranties are better buying a jeep like this. You also save money by financing the jeep built with a better rate then you would with a care note as well as parts/ labor on a credit card with a higher rate then a car loan. Unless you're dropping large amounts of cash with every modification. I sure couldn't swing that kinda coin on 1 jeep for myself. But for someone in the market for a Jeep like the Brute, (and there are lots of people in that market) it's a great way to get a Jeep that's a real head turner and very useful pickup.

Ummmm, you know what? Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, that $90k won't get you a Hemi in there. That thing is a V6!!!!!!

Got my JKU sahara last night! I love it, so perfect. Ordered on December 8th, picked up January 14th. And surprise, I didn't realize leather came with seat heaters! The specs:
Billet
Black hard top
Max tow package (3.73)
Limited slip
Leather (seat heaters)
Slush mats
Connectivity
Side air bags
Auto air
6-speed

I think I'm in love!

Its official! I ordered, I have a VON and a customer number!

JKUR
23R
Premium Blackrider Sun Top
Heated Front Seats
Connectivity Group
6 speed
Billet Silver

Excited is an extreme understatement. I locked in at Tread Lightly 1% below invoice and then $1000 VW rebate (wife owns diesel Jetta).

This is the first new car I have ever bought and first Jeep. I graduated from college last December and picked up a 40 hour week job and running my own company on the side. The money that I made and will make from my own company is covering the cost of this vehicle which is a huge pride/success story.

I drove to Safford in Fredericksburg, VA and loved the service and no bullshit. Anyone in VA should consider them. PM me for my sales guy, he rocks.

This forum has been incredible, as you can see by my post count (195) before actually owning purchasing a Jeep. I was on the fence between auto and manual and after test driving manual Rubicon I went manual, so much better than my WRX and so much fun to drive.

The wait is going to be tough but I have lined up a lot of work for myself to keep me busy.

I'm so sick of washing it 3 times a week. I need something lighter in color and I decided that the deal I was offered was right.

Sweet, congrats, Pat! If I may ask, why did you go Rubicon over the 10a? I'm undecided on color, but if I decide on Billet, I'm leaning towards 10a.

Gotcha. There's the rub: pay more now for mods I might not get around to, or...

I really miss having that extra letter in IL plates. I always wanted GD2BKNG

So would that tell all future buyers that nothing in a 14 outside of color would be worth waiting for?

As far as I know the only changes will be some colors and the upgraded in EVIC that is in the 10A. It will be available in the Rubicons next year.

Hey Pat... l'd like to know what you have planned for your Billet. My 10A is the same color, but will have some changes made straight out of the box. I went back and forth on color... in the end I still think Billet is the most adaptable to various styles.
