Poison Spyder fender flares install

Just a thought on my Poison Spyder aluminum fenders: Even though I think they are a nice product once installed, I would never buy them again just because the installation process is VERY slow, tedious and frustrating. I have Warriors (steel), on my 2008 JK and they were MUCH easier to install.

Bumper Install vid:

PS If you get this rear bumper, poison Spyder charges $57 + shipping and tax for their LED lights. I got mine on EBAY for $14. Buyer beware!

Thanks for posting up all the vids and pics man. I'm enjoying them.

The PSC Brawler Lite rear is on my list and I also noticed the insane price they charge for their LEDs. The correct size is 2.5" LEDs, correct? I'm having trouble finding the $14 set on eBay.

The EBAY seller was "globalpartspro". They were listed as:
2.5" Clear/Amber LED Marker Lights w Grommets Pigtails

They were $14 w/ free shipping. Try this link:
2 5" Clear Amber LED Marker Lights w Grommets Pigtails | eBay

Hope this helps!

I'm waiting til I'm done. I'll be on the trails soon enough. I don't like to wheel w/o lockers and those still need to be hooked up.

What I think about this Jeep is like that time in fith grade when the teacher asked you to stand up and go to the board and you had to think of a reason why you couldn't.

Looks good. When I win the lotto, I'm gonna do me a one-off build too.

Love your jeep...looks great! I just got done watching your 4th video and have a question. Why did you get exhaust spacers when you put on an aftermarket front driveshaft? I thought they weren't needed with a new DS? Love the videos...I find them very informative!!

This is my understanding. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

With the 4" lift, in order to get full axle travel downward, one needs to replace the stock driveshaft. This gives you more articulation and lets the axle drop to it's fullest potential.

If you only did this however, the new driveshaft wouldn't be able to let the axle drop all the way because it would contact the exhaust that runs across right in front of the cross member. The spacers remedy this problem.

AEV (Nth Degree) rear slider

Putting on my rear slider today. I wanted one for the front also (like the TJs), but I called them and they say they don't make one because it is a High Pinyon axle.

Anyway, here it is:

Thanks for explaining!! I'm new to the whole modding thing, trying to learn as much as possible. I have a RK 2.5 waiting to be installed...hopefully in the next year lol.

Just be sure to build it the way you want the first time. This is my 5th or 6th lift and my 3rd jeep nuild. I learn so much each time, but hear from so many guys who didn't do it the right way the first time and are waiting (for example), for their 33s to wear out so they can go bigger etc.

I learned so much from 2008 JK and really am doing a better job this time. Educate yourself and do it right the first time!

Is it an automatic or manual? I still have the stock DS up front in my 4-door automatic and the bar in front of the cross member is limiting my droop; more so than the exhaust I think.

It is a stick. The thing that was going to impede travel was the exhaust, but with the Teraflex spacers and the new driveshaft, the problem was remedied. I am not sure about the bar you mention.

Really liking your build brother. It reminds me a lot of mine. Started with a sport a learned to do everything on my own to save on labor costs for more parts. Now they are very similar. I even got the "why did you get all this nice stuff and cheap out on a winch" question lol.

Let me know your impression on the Rear Anti-Rock. I run a front right now and I'm debating getting the rear as well. Right now I can tell my front forces my rear suspension to do a lot more work than it ever would disconnecting. In a good way.
