2013 DCR W/Pro Comp 7089 and TOYO AT2s

Picked up my 13 a couple weeks ago, and just got the pro comp 7089's 16x8 with 285/75/16 toyo open country at2's. No lift right yet but am going to put a level on it to fix the rake in the near future. Figured I would share the pictures with the site as it helped me when looking for wheels, tires, and also when ordering the jeep.

That's what I have heard. Of course in central NY in the middle of winter I have yet to really see it shine in the sun. I'm hoping it looks awesome though with no top or doors in the sun

I just ordered 5 of these 17x9" wheels! I am getting some slight rubbing with my new P285/70R17 on the stock JKU rims. Yours look great! My only hope is with a backspace of 2" less the tires won't stick way out of my fenders!

Mine are 4.5" backspace I beleive, and only stick out less than a half inch. Still more than enough to spray everything all over the side of the jeep lol. That was the deciding factor to why I bought the 16s over the 15 inch wheels. Plus in 15" they didn't have any styles I really liked. I think the 7089s are a nice cross between an older style and a modern looking wheel.

Please pics when you get them on your jeep. I'm trying to decide on either the P rated or the LT rated OC 2s. Mine will be on Mickey Thompson Classic Black 2s.

I would go with the LT sizes. I thought about getting the 305 70 16's that come in the extreme but they were 68 lbs a piece compared to the LT version that I have that weigh 52.8 lbs a piece. That extra unsprung weight would have really hurt the jeep, and I decided the little deeper tread and cooler sidewall wasnt worth the tradeoff. To me they are agressive enough for the mild off road my jeep will do during its first few years of life. Maybe in a few years when its paid off, and when its time for a set of tires I will lift it more, and put mud terrains on it but for right now im trying to keep it in nice shape lol. Heres some pictures for you,

285/75-16 E rated, rims 16X8 4.5 bs E. Very smooth and quiet I wish the Extreme came in 285/75-16 as I like the look of the sidewall better but like was said it is heavier. Mine are stamped made in Japan, all the research I did says most are made in the US so not sure why. They were manufactured the 47th week of 2012. I am pretty sure the LT (e rated) have deeper tread then the P rated.

Great looking tire for hwy driving with light off road use.
I believe I would still prefer the MT's for medium to hard off road work!
