2013 Jeep Wrangler Grille Question

I want to buy a replacement grille for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Sport to experiment with the color scheme. I'd rather not buy a new grille because of the cost so I've been looking for a take off. My question is will the OEM grilles for 2012 and earlier fit a 2013 JK? I can't find a definitive answer anywhere and would appreciate your help. Thanks.

PS: If anybody has one or knows a good source for one I would appreciate that info too. I've been watching EBay right now.

Thanks.

Do you know if the 2012 grille is the same as the 2013?

Why not just plastidip it? It comes in a variety of colors

I thought that all jk grilles were interchangeable 07-13 because body style hasn't changed. Maybe mounting holes have tho.

This is a good idea. That way if you don't like the color, you can always peel it off to get back to factory.

I have found several on EBay but that all say 07 to 12. Maybe the auctions just haven't been updated to include the 2013 so that is why I'm asking.

I could just use plasti-dip but I want to keep my original one original and have one to plasti-dip or paint if I choose to. Eventually I want to get it painted permanently rather than plasti-dip. I have never used plasti-dip before but I have seen the videos. I have a hard time believing it will hold up to the mesquite thorns around here.

Well the idea is you plastidip your original grill every color under the rainbow and when you find a color you like, then you go on ebay and drop 100s of dollars on a new grille. Just tryin to save you some cash!

thats pretty sweet for a replacement grill, and at < 200 bucks... carbon fiber i'm not a fan of, but a little spray paint and that's a cheap replacement for a stock grill.

I have a 2013 and just picked up a brand new grill for $100 shipped and the 2007-2012 griills are the same. I got a silver one that I am going to try on my white jeep.

I went to a local dealer for an oil change and asked the parts shop if they had take off grilles, he recalled recently taking one off for a chrome kit, and sold the take off to me for $25.00. I have a CG 13 JKUR and the take off was Yellow from an 07. Color was not a concern since my plans are to plasti dip it first, then if I like the look eventually get it Full Metal Jacket or Line-X'ed.

Commando Green with a yellow grille actually sounds like a pretty cool color combo. Do you have any pictures?

My Jeep is black and I have found a 2012 Silver grille that was a new take off for $125.00. I didn't think that was too bad a price for a new grille in a color that would look good on black. Eventually though I think I would like try a red grille on this black Jeep.
