I wonder if people realize how necessary a wrangler is in our fair lands. I am not sure there is a better use case in a city. Perhaps some place with extreme winters or mud seasons? VT?

I am in the city itself, LGD. Coming out of a GTI because I fear its accelerated demise.

Assuming everything goes smooth without any delays, it looks like it will be about 5-6 weeks. I ordered mine of 7/18 and it is scheduled to arrive on 8/23. Keep in mind that everything time wise is an estimate.
Thanks Ross

Received my build sheet this morning. Much better then the one I receive yesterday. Really helps to order using the correct VIN! Can't stress that enough!

And people wonder why I refuse to bring either of my sports cars to the city!!!! I might be swallowed by a pot hole!!!

The Jeep makes it much easier to navigate!!! I am south of you in Terrebonne Parish! It isn't any better here, been raining so hard everyday that downtown has street flooding on a regular basis. All I need is my Jeep, a raincoat and my shrimp boots!

Hehehe, I don't wear all those shoes, mostly my rubber clogs, flip flops or rubber boots...not very stylish, but it has rained every day here for almost 2 months....have't been very sexy at all in that combo.

Haha, you and me both. I'm in either some type of sneaker (typically Vans, Converse, or Superga) or flipflops.

Just got the "Frame" email myself! 1-877 yesterday told me still scheduled, but still had a ship date of 8/25, so she guessed it was further along.

This morning the rail car was in Roe Arkansas - that is only 383 miles away as the crow flies! Won't be long now......

I have asked the dealer to let me know when the car transport will get to the dealer so I can take pictures of them off-loading it. I was called "persnickity" on another thread this morning, you think?

Heck no, not at all! Most of us here would not only be there with the transport, we would help unload, unwrap and clean the Jeeps to be involved in the process.

Sorry to hear that!! How can no one know where it is?

I'd be a bit steamed.
