That's almost funny! She said the same thing to me, even hinted at a Monday arrival. I guess we will find out if Becky is feeding everyone a line of BS or if Becky is the "go to" person with the best info. Come on Becky!

Becky gave me the most accurate information I ever got from the 877 number. I happened to call on the day it was going to arrive at my dealer (I didn't know that at the time) and she told me that it left Toledo on a truck the prior evening at 6:14 PM and was coming directly to the dealer (no intermediate transfers).

Nope.

It goes through so fast it doesn't keep up. I went from D1 to paint to shipped.

Hey all, I didn't even look at my messages today...I promise I will check them tomorrow.

Picked up baby 5 today and took all 5 on a road trip. There is a rehabber who can feel the tiny ones. 3 hours round trip and then turned around and went the opposite direction 2 hour round trip to pick up baby #6. So I only have 1 right now. I will bring her and any others next week to the rehabber.

I didn't even clean the house yet. Tommorow should be more calm. So instead of psychic, I turned into squirrel momma.....

My Jeep is still hanging out in Baton Rouge....and putting lots of miles on my Sahara. Did pass through some flooded areas today no problem and lots of rain on the way back from trip 1. I kept thinking about how nice it would be if I had leather seats and radio voice controls.....

Sadly, Amanda isn't much help. We should start a thread with the names of the representatives that helped us, and if they went out of their way or not to get us information. That way, if we call and get a "not so helpful" one, we can ask for the other by name.

Got Steve for the second time this week. When I spoke to him Wednesday he said my Jeep had been built, was on the lot and would be loaded onto the train today (8/31). I called today and got Steve again, he said "hey didn't we talk earlier this week" I said yeah. He said "I can't see anything on your Jeep today, it shows Gate Line" ...JOY!!!

They should also annotate the line of bull they give you each time so they can, at the very least, be consistent!

Have you called your dealer to find out when this shipment is due they ask. Yes, called my dealer and they are all but clueless! It appears that Becky, who said my Jeep was scheduled to ship on 8/29 was blowing smoke! Maybe I am over reacting and my Jeep is on a hauler just 10 minutes from my dealer! Hey, it can happen!
As frustrating as this is, I stopped at my dealer yesterday just because I was in the area and he says "hey, your Jeep is here, it was delivered last night". I was thrilled!

Butttt....and it's a big but, the company handling the transaction for Chrysler Corp hasn't provided the dealer with the paper work, even though they've known the Jeep was coming for 2 months, so I can't pick it up til next Wednesday or Thursday. The dealer did say I was welcome to come by and look at it if I wanted.

So once again I sit and wait. It's so annoying knowing its right down at the dealer, and I can't get it.

Yes, I agree. I placed an order last week. My dealer gave me the VON that day. Around Tuesday, it was visible in VOTS. But yesterday I get a voicemail from dealer that it was assigned a VIN. Couldn't get to dealer in time before they closed, so I called the 877-I-AM-JEEP number only to be told by Amanda that there is no info in their system.

I double checked the VON and Last name, which were correct (and pulled up on VOTS in front of my eyes).
Then Amanda tells me, "it could take 6-8 weeks for the information to appear in our system."
I replied, "are you kidding me? The jeep could be at the dealer in that time."
She finished, " I'm sorry, but it could take that long to show up in our system. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

I refrained from answering, "educate yourself by getting an account on wrangler forum, and then go back to work"

Probably a good thing you didn't say that, because she has no control over the information presented.

These guys are probably working at or close to minimum wage. Half of them are probably temporary to cover the higher demand of callers right now. They are likely not Jeep drivers or enthusiasts, but people who need jobs.

Whether or not your Jeep is delivered in 4 weeks has nothing to do with the employee unable to do anything because of limitations in their system. Even if she read Wrangler forum, it wouldn't change what she has available to tell you.

WOOT WOOT! I got my VIN!

My last car was a rinkydink communter Mazda 626, which i bought after my Dodge Ram was totaled. Ive driven that mazda for 10 years. It was a good little car, but nothing to get excited about.

I am so stoaked about becomming a Jeep person, I dont know what to do.

Other than calling 1-877-IAMJEEP, is there any other online system I can use to track progress on my Jeep?

No, not really. Once you get further along in the process you can ask keschete to check vin vision for you to get updates but thats really about it. Welcome to being in the dark!

This is just like Christmas, with a big honkin present on the way from your Great Aunt Tilly on the way in the mail. Being in the dark with a JEEP on order is a heck of a lot better than knowing where any other car is.

Did I mention Im stoaked?

Ask the dealer order 2 for me, cause I did not seen a Commando in person.
2013 Sahara Commando green/Dozer, I 90% take the Dozer.

This system tends to stay pretty behind the actual dates, but it can be fun to check.

Good plan. I have a Black and a Commando 2013 JK on the way. I'm about 50/50 right now. I need to see them in person!

Scheduled??

I would think that "Your vehicle order has been verified and is scheduled to be produced in our assembly plant" would mean that a date to start production would be available. Does not scheduling include a date???? I know it does in the "real world".

ISG - "Impartial Services Group" My arse...Might as well be Chrysler.

They are the farthest thing from an impartial mediator. In my case all they did was process paperwork required by Chrysler. Nobody in that organization is working on your behalf. My 2 cents...

I fully agree. They are paid by Chrysler. They do what Chrysler wants. But for me they are going to do what I want or hell will come early for them.

I am so fed up with the quality of service from Chrysler I am not going to take any more BS.

VOTS still says mine is en route to the dealer, and I picked it up last Thursday.

Vin Vision provided the best tracking info once it was done being built, it was about like tracking a package with FedEx.

https://insightnl.extra.chrysler.com..._SEARCH_BY=VIN

You can put your VIN in place of the XXXXXXXXX

I dont know if that is the same site keschete is using, but I googled around and found it on a chrysler forum.

Yes, ISG. I'm dead sure my rep has caller I'd. Every time I call from a number I've previously called her from, she doesn't answer. Only if I call her from a phone I've never used before will she pick up. And I'm pretty sure her phone doesn't have any number buttons on it, as she never, ever, calls me back.

I'll be soooooo glad when this is over.
