Got my "Scheduled for production" email today. Do I get a [completely unreliable] estimated delivery date later in build phase, or do I have to call I AM JEEP to get one? Thx!

To follow your vehicle in production, please login to the Vehicle Order Tracking System (VOTS) with the information provided below:

We will contact you next when your vehicle moves to frame status. At that point, you can anticipate your vehicle will move quickly through the next few stages of build. Please be patient as we work to provide you with a new Jeep built to your specifications. We sincerely appreciate your business.

Thank you,
The Jeep Brand Team

Well, after two weeks of having her, I've encountered some problems... The driver's heated seat does not operate according to the manual's specifications of 30 minutes high, 30 minutes low - rather, it stays on high for roughly 10 minutes and shuts off. After that, you can't turn it on for the rest of the day. Secondly, I had a warning light come up that disengaged my ECO mode and wouldn't go away... After three different battery unplugs, it finally went away on its own. Lastly, there's an annoying drip (sometimes stream) of water that runs down the transmission and hits the exhaust pipes, making a disconcerting hissing noise. Every time I kill the engine and get out, it's there... Not sure if it's poorly designed AC routing or what... But it's annoying. Anyone else having any of these problems? And sorry to all of you hopefuls for making you worry! Just wanting to let you know of some possibilities!

PS - My family took her down to south Texas on a mini road trip and she was spectacular! Although the 40 mile 80 mph 130 loop around Austin, TX was slightly disagreeable to true Jeep roots, my baby was still awesome!!

I'm experiencing the same hissing from the dripping condensation. Kind of annoying...

Called the 877 number and today they don't have a clue about my Jeep even though the last couple times I called (yea, I'm becoming a pain in the yknow what LOL) they had it sitting at Toledo railyard. Boy it really is hit or miss when calling them, isn't it?

Movement... that's great!! I think you can call 877iamjeep and get a delivery date now. I think this is D1 status.

Just curious when you placed your order? I ordered mine on 8/24, the last 8 of my VIN is DL535528, which doesn't seem very far behind yours... but I haven't received the "scheduled for production" email yet

The last 8 of my VIN is DL533771. I don't know if these are actually sequential based on production dates or what. I ordered on 8/17, got my "parts ordered" email on 8/21, nothing since.

It's not the wait that's so tough, it's the not knowing how long to wait

Mine came in to the dealer last Thursday, but ISG was late sending the paperwork over. I called the dealer today and the paperwork is all set, but due to conflicts in our schedule I can't pick it up till Friday morning.
Here's a pic of it sitting at the dealer just waiting for me.

Ordered 7/14, arrived at dealer 8/30.

I don't know if this is an indication of sequential VINs but my dealer ordered me 2 jeeps because I wasn't sure if I would like commando green or not. The VINs are 1 number apart.

You likely won't get a delivery date until it is finished being built. You may get a scheduled build date at this point. My Jeep is being built today, and I have an estimated ship date of tomorrow. But, they couldn't provide to me an estimated delivery date just yet.

Signed off on the spec sheet and paid my deposit a few days ago. The dealership said today that the 2013's are still on restriction but they were able to submit an order. Should officially go through in a few days when it opens up.

I figured it out! There is now a restriction on manuals and no more will be built until 2014! That must be why it is taking so long. We must all crumble under the pressure and order autos instead.

I should give up the hope of having mine by Thanksgiving. Lol.

Got my new 2013 JKR on Saturday!

Just got my new black 2-door Rubicon! Ordered on 7/19, entered production 8/20, shipped 8/27, and finally picked up by me on 9/1. As of today (9/5) I've got 590 miles on it. Its options are as follows:

- Black Clear Coat Exterior / Black Cloth Interior
- 6-speed manual
- Connectivity Group
- Dual Top Group
- Trailer Tow Group
- Power Convenience Group
- Slush Mats
- Deep Tint Sunscreen Windows
- Heated Front Seats
- Custom two-tone leather to be installed by dealer (factory leather was on restriction when I ordered)

Gotta give a plug to Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville, Michigan. I dropped by there in early July to see if the Wrangler was what I really wanted. (I had a '98 Cherokee, and the JK is downright civilized by comparison!) The first dealer I went to seemed to lose interest when I convinced him I definitely wasn't buying that day, but my salesman at Dick Scott was really helpful in getting me a test drive (they had one with the 6-speed, but not a Rubicon) and confirming the details on the 2013's.

I got the Tread Lightly affiliate discount plus the $500 college graduate discount, even though I hadn't mentioned those in advance - just showed him the paperwork when the Jeep arrived. All in all, a really painless process!

I just ordered mine a few hours ago...

Billet Silver JKUR
- Auto
- UConnect 430n
- Leather Seats
- Black Interior
- Heated Seats
- Connectivity Group
- Hard top

It can't be started until after Sept 10th because of the leather seats...but I'm still excited!!

I've been considering it for the past 3-4 weeks (trolling here, for at least the past 2 weeks) and every day has made me hate my 2009 JK Rubi even more...not that there's anything wrong with it, I just wanted a new one!

The Vin's seem to be sequential, but they are NOT built in order.

They can't put the order in until Sept 12th. That is when the next allocation opens.

No there isn't a restriction listed currently, but they ordered a lot less six speeds this year. SO if you don't get your order in soon enough when the allocations open up, they run out of 6 speeds for that allocation. Then your Jeep has to wait for an available 6 speed. From how I understand that it works.

I don't know what he was talking about then. I will send him an email to make sure he gets the order in quickly on the 12th so allocation doesn't fill up. Thanks Keschete.
