After that, you can't turn it on for the rest of the day. Secondly, I had a warning light come up that disengaged my ECO mode and wouldn't go away... After three different battery unplugs, it finally went away on its own. Lastly, there's an annoying drip (sometimes stream) of water that runs down the transmission and hits the exhaust pipes, making a disconcerting hissing noise. Every time I kill the engine and get out, it's there... Not sure if it's poorly designed AC routing or what... But it's annoying. Anyone else having any of these problems? And sorry to all of you hopefuls for making you worry! Just wanting to let you know of some possibilities!

PS - My family took her down to south Texas on a mini road trip and she was spectacular! Although the 40 mile 80 mph 130 loop around Austin, TX was slightly disagreeable to true Jeep roots, my baby was still awesome!!
You should put issues like this in the 2013 issues thread so others can see it :-). I have the same thing, it's water, so it's probably the A/C. I've had other vehicles that did the same thing (my 2002 Liberty). I'm more worried about my floor mats than the condensation ;-)

I'm also going from standard to auto...so that will take a bit of getting used to. I drove an auto '13 Unlimited Sport with tiny tires today before I ordered mine, it was definitely different. From the driver seat, it looked like driving a Jeep, but it didn't feel like driving a Jeep.

My wife wanted me to get an auto, but I was against it...until I went to Rausch Creek back in July. Being in those rocks and having to constantly be on/off the clutch/gas/brake was a huge pain. I never thought I would get an auto Jeep either, but's it's on order now.

Also, now I'll be able to make the wife be designated driver even when we're out in the Jeep.

I actually taught some of the girls I work with how to drive a manual in my 2009. When I was 26, my husband wanted a Camaro Z28 with a 6 speed, but he wanted me to drive it. I learned in a weekend and he NEVER got to drive it. Since then I have had 2 Corvettes, a Viper and a 09 JK and all have had manual trannys. I am 42 now and couldn't imagine going back, but I am a speed junkie and I like to race the sports cars.

So, teach her to drive a manual, you may regret it I think my husband does.

Picked it up the night before last. Have already removed all of the dealer and Jeep sticker and added some secure storage boxed (under seat and in the rear storage area). Today, remove hard top and install soft top.

Received the email!

Dear Customer,

Congratulations on your new Jeep purchase! Currently, we are in the process of ordering the parts required to assemble your vehicle in the plant.

We will contact you next when your vehicle is scheduled for production. At that point, you will be provided with login information for the Vehicle Order Tracking System (VOTS). The VOTS enables you to track your new Jeep as it moves through eight production stages: Etc...

For those that have gone through the ordering, how long from this point does it take for the "vehicle to be scheduled for production"?

I ordered on 18 July, and mine was scheduled on 31 July, though I was able to get into VOTS much earlier. But the actual "went into production" date for me was the 31st.

For me it was less than a day. I actually went to VOTS as soon as I got that email and looked using my order number. I had already made it to production scheduled. It seemed to stay there for a couple of weeks then moved quickly. I ordered 7/27 and my order actually had to wait until allocation opened on 8/7 before it was picked up. I drove it home on 8/29. Pretty quick turnaround.

Those are the wheels that come on the non Sahara/Rubicon models. I am guessing they did not change the wheels from last year. They will only be on until monday.

Hopefully one day I will get my jeep. Left the factory on Tuesday at 1pm. It was supposed to come straight here by truck. I know they have other stops, but I am ready for my jeep.

Depends on you particular build.

I am still waiting to go into production 3 weeks after receiving the email you just got. Some people have their Jeeps in 3-4 weeks, so it all depends.

Been spending too much time in the CG waiting room thread, lol. Anyway, here is my current timeline:

8/12 - Ordered
8/20 - Production Scheduled
9/5 - Built
9/6 - Shipped?
9/14 - Unload from Railcar?
9/15-9/16 - Pick up from dealer?

I ordered a CG JKUR Auto.

That makes sense, thank you. I am excited. This wait will be tough!

Photos will up on Sunday.
