2013 JKU 3.6 ticking?

When I first bought my 2013 I hadn't noticed the ticking until I starting reading about it. It wasn't ever loud and didn't seem to do it all the time. only would tick when really cold out. But I only drove the jeep for about 1500miles then I switched to Mobil Full Synthetic 5w-30 and I never hear it anymore. Is this something I should be concerned about? Now i'm worried that if I switch back to regular oil that it will start ticking again and idk if I should just complain to the dealer about fixing this before warranty is up. Should I try to get it fixed or just stick with synthetic? BTW I do like using synthetic. I just don't want my engine to start ticking even with synthetic after my warranty is up.

What do you guys think??

It's 2013. Use synthetic.

You're good until 100k miles or 5 years. Just follow the owner's manual and enjoy your ride. Going back to dino isn't going to hurt anything.

alright I guess waiting it out wouldn't hurt anything ether. I just wondered what would be the best way to handle this.

From the reading I've done on this, here on the forum, you won't be able to get a head replaced until you throw a code, anyway. No code, no warranty repair.

You don't need to throw a code to have a head replaced. I know from personal experience.

I wouldn't want dealership techs tearing apart my engine unless it threw a code. If it runs strong and is reliable, it's all good. Like above post 100,000 miles 5 year warranty

BUT...
Please PM me how you did this in case I decide you made the right call in doing this. Maybe I'll have it done just before warranty runs out as a safeguard for the future and resale. You might be smarter than me
