I was able to pickup my Moab for $34.2k from a list of $41.5k. Louisville has several local dealers to shop from. Got the 430n, black hard top, AT and a couple of other options. I last owned a CJ7 back in the 80's and I am really Impressed on the quality of the new Jeeps and the power too.

Thumbs up Bought mine in September

After reading some of the reviews and the comments on this and other threads.... I waited until the magic month of September to buy my jeep. After wheeling and dealing and my trade in... my Lobster MOAB came in under 30K after taxes.... YES!! I needed a daily commuter and a hunting vehicle. Plus I wanted to do some back country camping in the Canyonland area... I think this vehicle will do the trick.

Got my JKU Moab with every option except the horrible nav system for around $36,500. By no means cheap but with leather seats, upgraded bumpers, rock rails, skid plates etc. it's not as over-priced as some people make it out to be. Say what you will about the tires but they drive noticeably better on-road than the Rubis. You can easily swap in bigger for wheeling. I've taken mine stock on a number of wooded trails here in Oregon and it didn't break a sweat. I did hit some issues on a sand dune due the the smaller tires (which I hadn't deflated either) but I also didn't want to press my luck and get dug in. Overall I'm extremely happy with the purchase and all my friends love driving in it.

And Now.

What size tires are those? I don't have a MOAB. I have a Dune JKU Sport but the dealer slapped these MOAB rims on mine. I want new tires but not sure how wide I can go because of backspacing on these rims.

I want to go at least to 285/70/17 but wonder If I can go wider. If so how wide and what spacers would I need? No plans to do a full lift but I may do a leveling kit.

I have 1.5" Poison Spider Spacers. for the wheels.
The tires are 285/70/17 Duratracs, they fit fine before the lift.

After driving with these I wish I went with 315's. Theres a slight loss on hills but a quick downshift to 5th fixes that.

2013 Moab JKU

I love the MOAB. I picked up a Black JKU with 7500 miles for 34890 and its awesome. The big cost over the sport seem to be the 3.73 rear end over the stock 3.21, the hood, Nav 730n, leather heated seats, AEV bumbers, rock rails, rear light guards and tow package. The even through in the factory 5 year 100K bumper to bumper warranty. I havent seen another around in my area at all.
