2013 Rubicon 10A Mopar winch mount came in

Well dealer called me today and I got one! It comes with a front plate with fairlead hole a bracket to mount winch, a pump relo bracket and Oli bracket. Whatever an Oli bracket is I need to research how this all goes together. states only need to add fairlead bracket and oli bracket only if MOPAR winch kit # 82213746 is being installed. Guessing that is the 10A winch? I had a 9500 CTI so guessing that is basically the same thing.

If anyone has had this bumper apart and installed a mounting bracket any pointers would be great!

I'd like to get one too.
Do you happen to have the part number?

Part # 82213840. It was funny as I called Jeep tech support when I bought the jeep to get the right part number and while I was at the dealer picking this up they called me to tell me that Jeep doesn't make a bumper that is capable of mounting a winch and I would need a bumper... I kindly explained that it does exist that I was holding it in my hands at the dealer parts dept. Needless to say the parts guy got a good laugh at that as well as the people next to me

I do not have anything apart as I am kind of living out of boxes in a temp rental right now... Will my dremel work to cut the vacuum pump bracket that is stock? Instructions say to cut the tabs and I don't have a clue as to where my grinder is at.

This mounting kit came with an Oli bracket which I didn't not know what it was. Apparently if you buy the 10A winch it comes with a WARN Oli Not something I had ever seen before. Here is alink to the Warn part Warn Industries - Overload Interrupt (OLI)
So while you guys are figuring the cost of the winch kit I see that it comes with a ton of stuff.

I didn't pay for it I asked that it be included in the deal so it was on the "we owe" from the dealer. I have read on the net somewhere between 350 and 400.

Here it is mounted up! Just need to wait for the spray paint to dry as I needed to coat the spindle. Now plan was to put a 10" light in front of winch on bumper but where the hell do I put a license plate? I have a synthetic line with a safety thimble so when that is in it sticks out... thought about pinching it between the fairlead and bumper sticking above but then no room for a light right there. On the bottom of fairlead and it will probably get ripped off...
Thoughts?

Awesome peanut. I will be having my install perhaps next week or so with the 10th, 9.5 CTI-S winch. In your picture I thought the new mounting plate was supposed to "center" the fairlead, and it looks off center???

The MOPAR mount is made to be off center and made for the CTI. The CTI fairlead is not center so it lines up perfectly. The Maximus mount centers it and you have to cut the bumper to do it if you want a different winch. The CTI winch fits right in perfectly it would not work well with the fairlead centered.

it does look stout for sure but between the off-center hole and the random spare holes where the Rubicon plastic cover fit on I still think the Maximus bracket/centering plate/Zeon/light bar looks best... scratch that 2nd best.

The hidden Warn RC winch set up is the best!

Peanut you probably could use the AEV hawse fair lead license plate bracket. I just installed mine yesterday on my AEV bumper but it looks like it would work.

AEV JK 2007-13, Hawse Fairlead, License Plate Bracket Kit - 10404003AA

You can also get it direct from AEV. You would have to hook the thimble somewhere though as it would not clear this either now that I reread your earlier post.

Hi,
My Mopar 10a winch and mounting kit came in today. The installation manual appears to be a bit lacking on details. Does anyone who has installed the Mopar winch have any installation tips or can you point me to an online source for more detailed instructions (e.g., routing the wires, etc.)?
Regards,

There really isn't much to this install outside of what is in the instructions. I wired the winch on top of the passenger side frame rail up to the outside behind the headlight, then alongside the engine bay to the battery. The winch cable will need to come off to run it through the fairlead... Other then that not sure what else you might need to know. Did you have questions?

Thanks for the response. The factory winch and mounting kit are works of art. Can't wait to install them this weekend. I haven't looked too hard, but just off hand I didn't see: a packing list (to see if I have everything); exactly how to run the wires; what that black fabric sleeve is for (I think it is to go over the line to protect it from the sun?). Also, the instruction say to install the aluminum fairlead, but mine feels cast iron; and the wiring diagram in the instructions seem a bit different than what is on the winch. Thanks again for the offer, I will look at it closer this weekend...wish me luck.

yeah what ^^ said is about it... dont be afraid to cut off that vac mount, that was one of the most weirdest things, dont tare up the vac pump too much as it to mounts it the same way on the winch bracket. the black sleeve slide that on the winch rope first! i forgot and didnt go back and put it on.. another thing is you might need a little help lineing up all the bolt holes on the bumper and the winch bracket and the frame again other then that you should be good to go, i think someone on the forum used those ratching hold downs

I've still got a Mopar Winch Mount available (brand new/unopened) for the 10A / X steel bumper, and I will sell at a very reasonable price, now that I've decided not to put a winch on. PM me!
