Question 2013 Sahara leather seats

I finally got my sahara about a month ago. The problem I am having is the leather seats the dealer installed for me. They were installed aftermarket by a sanctioned Katzkin dealer. The leather is wonderful, but the "Sahara" logo is not the correct size compared to factory. They are too small and the wrong font. Has anyone else had this problem? My dealer says they cannot do anything about it because it is sanctioned by Mopar. I think they are full of shit and just don't want to pay for their mistake. I paid 1300 for these seats and want them to be exact. Thanks for any advice.

I think the only person that will ever know is you, and when you are sitting in them, you can't see them.
Besides.....those are not factory leather...they are Katzkins.

I would not worry about it and just enjoy the Jeep.

They look good!

Your right, I probably am the only one that will ever notice. It just bothers me for some reason.

Have the dealer give you the contact info of the guys that did the work. Maybe they'll correct it maybe not, at least you can deal directly with them instead of the middle man dealer.

I'm OCD like this too. I don't pay good money like that to get a job done incorrectly. If they can't do it correctly with the proper font etc then give up the contract and let someone more competent do it. It may be trivial but so isn't half the stuff that get's discussed here. What bothers one person might roll off another persons back.

I personally hate the Sahara and Rubicon stitched into the seats on the 13. I would have preferred they left the stitching off entirely.

My dealer told me it would be $600 to replace the front seat uppers. They were going to pay $300 of it. That did not add up to me so I finally got my dealer to tell me the name of their installer. Went there this weekend. They are going to replace the front seat uppers with a new logo (of my choice and color) for $30. Yes, THIRTY DOLLARS. Now my dealership has some explaining to do..since they were trying to rip me off.

That makes more sense. I wouldn't imagine the whole seat cover would need to be replaced, just pop a few stiches take out the old upper and put in the new one. $600 is total BS. Glad everything worked out for you
