2013 Sport Commando Green

Hey guys,

New to the site and just purchased my first jeep that I love. 2013 two door sport s commando green. I just had a couple of questions on the back window, I put the top down for the first time a few days ago, today looked a little dicey so I put it all back up and when I was zipping the back window down it is extremely wavy and even has a few creases in it. Can I fix all of this myself/can I take it back to the dealer and get a new one. I have only had the car a couple of weeks. I didn't remove it completely (had the dealer tell me to just roll it up along with friends who have jeeps). The window looks like i've had the car for years and its brand new. Any suggestions would help since I am new to the jeep world.

Thanks

Welcome to WF.

When you put your soft top down, did you remove the back window entirely?

Thank you, excited about my jeep. No I rolled it up like the dealer told me and used the straps on each side to keep it up, then put the top all the way down...

Always take the window off to take the top down. And just because it can be rolled up dont do it, it will get scratched and have the creases. After a couple of warm days it will be back to normal. I would recommend this to hold the windows and keep them prestine:
Clover Patch Part 10-ST-9704 - Window Roll and Storage Bag

Z-TJ, thanks for the advice and that product, I actually was looking at carrying cases to buy for it...Seems like there is some pretty legit creases in it, hopefully the warm weather works...

You've got one confused dealer... The straps are to put around the top frame when you just fold back the front section, sunroof style.

the straps he's talking about are the ones with the snap buttons above the back window .. allows you to roll up your rear window without putting the top down
