uh oh. That sounds like they protrude more than before, which isn't great news to me... If I had my way I would order one with a full bench seat! I hope they don't "hold in the seat" like a subaru seat...

See, I'm on the opposite side of this opinion. I love a large, supportive bolster in my automobile seats. At the same time, I'm only 5'8" and 160lbs, which obviously is a lot smaller than you. I could see how they'd be less comfortable for a large man or woman.

I thought the wheels would be much darker...but that is nothing a little plasti-dip won't fix.

I like the Sahara wording in the seats. That is cool.

I wonder if the Rubi's say "Rubicon"....and if the Sport's say anything?

Also...did Jeep get smart and reduce the angle of the front headrest?

What do the Rubicon wheels look like? The Sahara wheels look easy to clean. A plus for the guy that does all the car washing in the family. I had a Volvo once with 20 spoke wheels. Not fun!

What color is that interior? The 2012 Rubicons were black or black with a little tan . Not sure about what came on the Sahara. I never looked at those.

The two choices are black and dark saddle. This looks like black.

You're welcome. It's now 5 pm, it's my day off, I haven't eaten a thing so I'm off to find something fried, greasy and cheap!

Pat, are those the standard sahara wheels or are those the optional polished wheels for a sahara?? This is big to me (and a few others) bc I ordered Dozer with the expectation that black would come standard and not have to put on aftermarket wheels.

Edmunds described the steering of the '12 as "nebulous". From my test drives, I translate that into very tight and responsive, almost too much at times. I'm not an offroader (yet), and I could see how highly responsive steering would be necessary on the trail, but it seems like that would get tedious over long drives.

I wonder if the steering was altered at all for the '13? Not that it would be a deal-breaker one way or the other...

I'm 6'2" 215 lbs and I like the new bolsters. And my 215 lbs is mostly fat with bones and a very small percentage of muscle.

haha yeah my problem, being a gigantic person, is that I end up sitting ON the bolsters, more so than inside them. They don't look too bad in the photos though, so I think I'll be ok!

Window sticker does not show it as an option. It actually doesn't even show what wheel it has.

yeah me too that's why I thought it was a good deal that black would be coming standard and it'd look good with dozer. I don't want that color wheel with dozer.

Anybody heard that 2013's are being held at Toledo? Shipped to Storage? Quaranteened? Or is this a line of Bullshi$ from my dealer because he doesn't really know why he can't get my Jeep shipped. I can't believe the owner of the dealership called with this as a possible reason the car has not left Toledo. "He has no control even though he does over $40 Million in Chrysler sales each year." Pissed and Venting!!!! Really!!!!

I have. The status of mine, according to IAMJEEP, is "Shipped to Storage". I spoke with the dealer about this and according to him, "Sometimes the manufacturer will do that early in the run of a model year because either A. they haven't been put through Quality Control or B. they're waiting on a piece(s).

That said, IAMJEEP still has an est ship date of 8/10.

Thanks for the updates and photos Pat
VOTS is showing that mine is in final inspection for the second day.
I don't know how often VOTS gets updated, but mine might be the most inspected Jeep ever

Yeah I forgot to mention that I found that info on the build sheet under "standard equipment" not under optional equipment. Meaning on this Sahara the wheels are the standard wheels not an upgrade.

Just got off the phone with 877-IAM-JEEP. Their records indicate that my '13 JK is already sitting in storage waiting to be shipped, while VOTS still shows it in final inspection status. I was told over the phone that the VOTS system isn't as accurate as what the computer records show there so therefore it almost does no good to even pay attention to it.
