anybody know how to find the P/N for the TPMS sensors for '13s? Have some tires/wheels want to use and would rather just have two sets than switch sensors.

perhaps same as WK2?
Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - 2011 Grand Cherokee Tire Pressure Monitor System

Although it looks like one might have to get them programmed with the scan tool?

Just be careful with them or anyone who quotes you a monthly
payment. They try to add the disability insurance onto it.
Mine is for $23,000 and the payment is $339 for 72 months.
I got the ball rolling a month in advance to make sure all was
inline for the 1.99 rate. Then once you call to tell them that
you want it, you then have 30 days to use it. If you got beyond
that they have to check your credit rating again. So I called
when I knew my jeep was loaded on railcar so that gave me
atleast 2 weeks. But when the told me the monthly payment
was like $30 more a month I said whoa .... wait a min here.
I know it is only $339 so why so much higher. That is when
they explained the disability insurance part. I said no thanks
and said the $339 is all I would need.

It's supposed to pay your payment if you get injured and can't work. The way I see it, if I'm that injured, I probably need to reevaluate my need for a Rubicon anyway.

It's a scam. They usually tack it on without asking.

It's kind of a scam.

A BIG +1 When they quote you a monthly payment make sure you did your homework and know what the payment should be based on the selling price you agreed, on plus tax and tags. People are usually not thinking when it comes time to pick up their new vehicle, so if/when you see an extra $20 a month in the payment it really isn't an extra $20, its $20x60 months, or $20x72 months, [Whatever $$ x the term of the loan]. They call that packing a deal, with something you didn't agree on. If called out the Finance manager will tell you, I added that because $20 a month is peanuts, or a cup of coffee in the morning, it was in your best interest and will protect you, or some other cock and bull story. They like to do that with warranties too, figure it in without even asking and have all the paperwork ready for you. Remember he can get up to 20% less [the fees his boss screws him out of] for what he sells you, so an extra bogus $1,000 could fetch him $200. Honest dealers don't do that. My problem was I never worked for an honest dealer, [just some that were better crooks than others]. Where I live honest dealers are far and few. Maybe in other parts of the US its different.

A L.I. Kia dealer tried packing a $1,000 into a deal on a Kia my nephew bought just last month. I went with him when he picked up his car. The F&I manager was pist when I called him out on his little deal packing stunt. I informed him how the DA would love to hear about it. Needless to say my nephew's payment dropped. Knowing the numbers ahead of time can save you big money on delivery.

I ordered 2012 315mhz sensors. I am hopeful they will work. I would also like to know what sensors are in the 13. Please if anyone breaks apart their new tires and wheels look and see what sensor is in there!

anyone that has an I-pad or I-phone get Loan Simulator Mobile app. Wicked easy to use to figure out payments. I went with a 72 month just to have low payments and most likely pay it off early. Unless the overall interest rate sky rockets then I will use their money instead. I have no house payment at my age (paid off long ago) and have no other car payments. On my loan for $23,000 for 72 months is gonna cost me $1,400 ..... That is insane ....

I hadn't heard that before either but there may be some truth to it. My Avalanche is a very bright white and I notice insects get attracted to it when I'm washing it. It's a pain when drying it because the bugs always get caught up in the towel and I'm afraid of them causing scratches. My GMC is a blue-green-grey color ("Stealth Grey" as GMC calls it or "Blue Granite" as Chevy calls it) and I never have the bug problem with it.

I just thought of that the other day, was going to order seat covers and decided I better wait since seats are one of the things that did change for the 2013.

Probably not as "snug" in the seat area, would be my guess. I think Trek Armor will be making new ones for the 2013's; no clue on other vendors.

My YoYo of estimated ship dates continues, as of Friday the date was pulled in from 8/15 to 7/28 but then as of today the new estimated ship date (since 7/28 didn't happen) is now 8/13. Here's a history of the estimated ship dates I've been given by 1-877-I-AM-JEEP:

7/23
7/24
8/16
8/15
7/28
8/13

I can no longer lookup my VIN/VON in VOTS since they changed the Leather to Cloth either. Maybe I should just stop calling.

VOTS lists mine at "shipment"!!! Sweet!!! I wonder how long it will take to get from Toledo to the Albany, NY area (which is where it gets loaded onto a truck, if I understand the process correctly...)

It's about a 10 hour drive, and then about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Albany to my dealer. I'm thinking it will take about 2 weeks.

I don't why people want to track their order status step-by-step anyhow??? It's not going to come any quicker.... Plus, doing that just takes the excitement right out of it...

I thought I read here that you can even get the railcar number to follow its journey. I asked today and they said they didn't have that info. Either way it is OK with me cus it is a week away and to top it off I got told this morning that the section of the company that I use to work for that did not get sold with my division got sold. I am one of THOSE people that do not listen to stock advisors and BOUGHT my company stock in my company 401K. Needless to say when the sale is final my 401K will almost double

I imagine it's because we are consumed with the thought of our new shiny Jeep. Speaking for me, this is my first Jeep and I know checking VOTS 2-3 times a day and calling 1-877-IAM-JEEP is making the process seem longer but I just can't help it and I don't think it takes anything out of the experience! If I was driving around in an older Jeep it might not be a big deal but I am driving a 97 Nissan Altima with over 200,000 miles, a dented quarter panel from where my kid ran someone over and a radio that I can't read the stations on. This is exciting stuff.....plain and simple!

Same here. Every day that my current hunk of crap vehicle doesn't explode is one day closer to the sweet salvation of my brand new wrangler.

Also, it's important for some of us to have a decent idea of when we're going to have to liquidate/otherwise organize a large down payment, and also since I live pretty far from my dealer (having moved since placing the order) I'd like to know the approximate date range when I'll have to schedule the trip to go pick the Jeep up.

Ditto! Or when you're driving around in a Malibu at the age of 26. I can't even tell you how many times people have asked, "did your grandma die?" when I tell them what I drive. No joke, it's like driving around in a giant bathtub of tapioca pudding...

Another reason: when trying to do a private sale on the trade-in car, the person purchasing my "trade" would like to know when they can take delivery.

I like to keep track because I have mods to remove and things to do to get my current JK ready to trade-in, some of which can't be done until right before heading to the stealership (resetting back to factory w/procal, for example); helps to have a timeframe.

I kind of chuckle at the complaints about the VOTS system. My dad ordered a new Jeep Cherokee in 1986. There was no VOTS. There was no 1-800 number to call to check on build status. We didn't hear anything until it just showed up at the dealer a couple of months after he ordered it.

We also had to walk uphill bare foot in the snow to pick it up... :-)

He probably didn't also have a multilayered excel spreadsheet that calculated the exact price of his order and adjusted for specific discounts, right? I mean, what kind of uptight neurotic weirdo wastes time looking at that kind of thing?

Don't you mean... "looking at that kind of thing over and over again even after placing your factory order second guessing which things you are better of ordering factory and which you need to order aftermarket that show up at your house before the Jeep"??? Not that I know anything about that.
