Yep, I was wrong; was also able to configure "my" 2013 (ordered 8 days ago) on Jeep.com yesterday. Even got an idea of what Billet will look like! Not making the wait any easier...

Yikes, good point! I was just thinking the tan mats might look good with the tan bottom part of the interior, if that is indeed its color; still haven't seen any good photos. But it would suck to get the mats all scuffed up in a week! Black is certainly the safer bet, and all the competing floor liners & mat come in this color as well. Just need to decide between Weathertech, Quadratech/Rugged Ridge, Husky, Mopar, etc.

Thanks,

LarsA

Sahara with black wheel flares

Is it possible to order a Sahara, with out body color wheel flares. I really like the Billet but waiting to see the Dune before ordering. I think the black wheel flares will look great on Billet or Dune.

No. You will either have to get a Sport or a rubicon if you want plastic fenders from the factory. Otherwise, you would have to trade or purchase plastic fenders from someone who doesn't want them.

So I received and email for a Jeep MasterCard with cash allowances and a bunch of verbiage about earning money for down-payment and such.

Anyone else? Anyone have any thoughts on how I may want to leverage this on for a new 2013 due in on October. I'm also getting ready to take a west coast vacation (car rentals, plane tickets, hotel stays) that may allow me to rack up some points.

Dear (me),

There's still time to take advantage of your $1,000 Bonus Cash Allowance

Better still, when you apply and are approved for the Jeep® MasterCard®, you can start earning rewards right away: Qualified customers can earn up to 4,500 points by using their new card for up to a $1,5003 down payment when they finance with Ally® and the dealer. I am in Delaware. If I wind up getting the sahara I can definitely do a swap. Still possibly getting a rubi but will let you know.

It's here, it's here!

So I'll still be in Afghanistan for another month or so but.... look what arrived at the dealer today!! After all the BS I went through with ENCS I am glad that they got all of the options right!

I have to say, being deployed during this time is probably the best thing that could have happened to me.. I don't know if I could have held out for manual AND leather if not!

One last thing, can someone with an Unlimited Rubi help me out... I was going to order the cargo liner floor mat from Weathertech when I order the others, but that looks to be a cargo liner between the two boxes? Is it, or is it something else? I'd love to save $100+.

And lastly, I need to thank everyone on here, and especially Pat. I owe you one sir!

Yep and it's reversible. Carpet one side and rubber on the other. Congrats bro, stay safe and thank you for keeping us safe.

Thanks for that! Hey I noticed the tire pressure monitor for all 4 tires is located in the dash display. Being everything else seems the same, does anyone know if a computer update can get us 2012 folks the TPMS for each tire?

If my billet Rubi on order looks something like the pic on Jeep.com I'll be pretty psyched. Minus those wheels and with a HT, of course.

You think? I thought it actually looked a bit lighter than the earlier mockup (see below). But it's hard to tell given backgrounds and the fact that both are photoshop jobs. Someone should have one in hand what, 1st week Oct maybe (4 weeks from launch date of 9/4)?

Only the second day of owning my new '13 Dozer JKUS (first Jeep ever). In my 31 years it's the ONLY vehicle I've purchased where I WANT an excuse to go anywhere just so I can drive it!! Top off, just awesome. The Alpine system sounds great (once dialed in and especially with newer music). Also had my first Jeep wave (from a very attractive woman in a TJ) so I suppose that didn't help with my new Jeep driving addiction. Damn this thing is really gonna be a bundle of fun out in Vegas. So many things still to do with it... For all of you who've had Jeeps for a while you obviously know all this. They say Jeep wranglers "aren't for everyone". I agree, they are only for those who truly want to unleash the joy that life has to offer!! For some that joy will be climbing over rocks or plowing through heavy mud, for others it might be just going to the city mall or on country roads. Either way it's a vehicle like no other! GOD BLESS JEEP AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
