Great pic of a 13 rubicon unlimited Billet in the Billet thread. Looks awesome. first one i've seen with black flares and top. Wish I could see a real Dune & Anvil b/c it is killing me not to order this Billet.

Is leather not available with the automatic or something? Was planning on ordering one from the dealer today.
Placed my order at the dealer. Apparently this was just a website glitch, although it is showing a restriction for "Customer preferred package 24R" whatever that means. Guess I'll relocate over to the waiting thread lol.

I hope I'm not angry at myself when anvil comes out, but we are three drivers and two vehicles right now. By the time my recently ordered billet comes in, one of us may be ready to run another one over. Just the seat adjusting alone is already causing tension :0)

I haven't had power anything since 1996. My first new vehicle was a dodge ram that I ordered, waited for, and it was stolen after six months. The only good thing is that I used the insurance money to order my first wrangler and never looked back!!! I opted for bells and whistles this time, but I had to cut the heart strings on my half doors and black fenders. I like the body match hardtop as it reminds me of the taupe wranglers I've seen with the body match ragtop. Though I do wish it came standard with black fenders - especially when I read posts that people may no longer wave to me after being a wrangler driver for 15+ years :0)

No, it's not blocked, it's just experiencing problems. As the manager of an IT department for a web-based software development center, I can tell you that there's a lot more involved in blocking you guys than flipping some switch. Their web app doesn't require authentication to use it, just to get past the front door. Changing it to authenticate every incoming request isn't a trivial matter. Even if it were, they would test it in a model environment for a couple of days before making the change or risk locking out their dealers.

The coincidence of them taking it down within hours of someone posting "they might block us!" is just too unbelievable. They know it works, they know what amount of traffic is normal, and they know when dealer 32012 is checking their cars vs. dealer xxxxx (us).

They could change it, but not before everyone here gets their car. The only exception would be an IP address or cookie based blocking method, but you'd be able to tell if they did that -- your home computer would stop working, but your office PC would still have access. And then suddenly your office PC stops working, but your girlfriend's laptop still works.

By the way, the report shows your dealer's code. I suggest you grab that and substitute that for the xxxxx after INPUT_DEALER_CODE= in the URL as well. Blocking dealer xxxxx would be easier than authenticating each request. If I wanted to block us, that's where I would start.

That almost made me spit my drink on the computer screen!

You guys can PM me and I will check it. I really don't mind, and I can usually get back to you within 24 hours at the most.....

I didn't say they would just block it right away.....but they can restrict access if they so choose and they have before. Chrysler might not care, my suggestion was to not wave the link around, in case they do. Just my 2 cents.... It doesn't affect me....I have my Jeep.

I do agree, if you have your dealer code, on your POC then use those numbers. It looks like a dealer is checking the order.

No, I agree. They could block it if they want. I was just saying that the likelihood of them blocking it within a couple of hours of your saying they might was unlikely. Not that you suggested that -- but that others were kind of freaking out that they'd done exactly that.

I placed my order on Monday (9/17) at 10:37am; how long will it take my order to be visible to the 877- I AM JEEP staff?

Is Sirius radio part of the connectivity group on the JKRU regardless of the radio purchased?

I was told that the Max Tow Grp may contain more than the hitch - possibly an upgraded cooling system. Is there any truth to this?

Finally, etiquette wise, should I ask my questions individually as I did above or should I put them all in one post? As you can tell I am a Newb, so please be gentle.

#1 is why I was asked to put down a $2K deposit; they don't want to get stuck with a $60K JKRU in Dozer. That is a non issue though because that baby is mine. Unfortunately, I will have to wait an additional 3 to 4 weeks on top of my initial build time while it gets shipped to AEV for the additional build, but it will be worth it.

It's not part of the connectivity group, but rather standard equipment on the Sahara and Rubicon.

Assuming your dealer took your email address down, you should see an email regarding VOTS tracking that will provide you with a VON or VIN number. The IAMJEEP staff should have access then.

As far as I'm aware, Sirius isn't part of the connectivity group. It is a separately added item on the Sport. Sirius is standard on the Rubicon.

It is a lot easier if it is all in one post.

Thank you & forgive me for all of the recent posts as I have been up all night finishing this thread while everyone else was sleep posting my questions as I read (some which were answered along the way) only to find all of my post stacked at the end. So now I am going to take a shower and head into the office. Thanks again for all of the input.

Blessings!

I watched as he placed the order, he did enter my name and email address, as well giving me a copy of the POC with a VON number & a scheduling priority of 1-Sold Order, but when I called I AM JEEP they didn't have anything yet.

Again, I placed my order at 10:37am on 9/17. Does that date fall into the current ordering window or is it possible that my order is on hold due to allocation dates and/or the Dozer color that I ordered?

Blessings!

First of all, welcome !

I'd imagine it's better for a few questions to be put in a numbered list within one post, but that's just my personal preference. If someone answers (1) and (3) but not (2), you could always give it a little time and post a reminder like "Anyone have an idea on (2)?"

Just my two cents...

My experience has been you usually get an email from ordertracking@jeep.com within a few days of the dealer entering the order with the subject "Your new vehicle order is being processed!"

Then, using the VON - vehicle order number - and your last name, you can use https://www.jeep.com/vots
And check yourself. If you see it there, then the 1-877-I-AM-JEEP folks can look it up in their systems.

No, not in one night; I started a while back, but I did make it through the second half since I placed my order on Monday. I didn't want to order before I made it through the thread, but even more so I didn't want to wait any longer to order.

This is a fabulous place and the people are even better! It was like I walked into a gold mind and everyone said here let me help you fill your wagon (soon to be Jeep) free of charge. Because of this thread I became a supporting member. It is very difficult for me not to support such an awesome plethora of information.

This is as good if not better than the Harley community I love so much. I can't wait to get on the trails and do some rock crawling with my family and the Jeep community.
