Now I can log into VOTS and it says that it is in a Production Scheduled stage, but when I called I AM Jeep they can't give me any information and said it can take up to 4 to 6 weeks before it is even in their database.
Shouldn't my build be done by then?
ANY SUGGESTIONS???

It's a slow process sometimes. I was in production scheduled stage for about 10 days. It has now been another 10 days since it has been ready to be shipped. So, just relax. They will have things in their database sooner than that. But, your Jeep isn't likely going to be here tomorrow.

My suggestion is for you to step away from the computer for at least a few hours...

VOTS is a good idea in theory; however, in reality it's not very useful. I ordered my JKUR more than 5 weeks ago, and my VOTS has been stuck at "Production Scheduled" ever since. The IAMJEEP service reps don't have updated information, either, at least not in my case. If you read through some of the other threads on this Forum, you'll hear about folks whose Jeeps went from "Production Scheduled" to "Shipped" in a day or two, without VOTS being updated. So, don't spend too much time checking VOTS; it'll just make the wait even worse (unfortunately, I speak from experience...)

Good luck, and welcome!

Based on the information in the this thread I was able to get into insight using the last 8 of the VIN I got from the order tracking email. Estimates it will be delivered to the dealer next week. 4 weeks from when I placed the order.

Especially since the dealer told me best case 8 weeks and to expect more like 10 - 12.

Not the plan

Been reading this thread from the beginning and was waiting and planning on getting my new Jeep next year at this time. Well, stopped at the dealer to check out the new '13's and one thing led to another. So I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Rubicon, Bright White, Cloth seats, Manual, Premium soft top! Thank you so much to all for the wonderful information. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much to pay for it.

I traded in a 2012 Camaro that I loved, but living in PA, it was really a part time vehicle. I worried about every speck of dirt on it. Was feeling a bit anxious about the trade when I got my first Jeep wave and then it was all good!

I just keep having these strange urges now like: to drive over the curb, across the median, through the neighbor's yard.........

Slow updates...

Been in "Ramp Compare" since the 15th, what is the deal? Seems Jeep is a lot slower at logistics than Chevy, Either that or their systems really need some work.

2013 Soft Top

Hello -

Does anyone know if a 2011 Jeep 4 door soft top will fit a 2013 jeep 4 door?

Vots

I just logged into vots for the first time, mainly to confirm my dealer placed the order correctly. It looks like vots shows my cars features, but some are missing. Heated seats and dual top for example are not listed. Can someone confirm they should be on this page?

PS- here a pic of the page I am looking at. Should my heated seats and dual top group be listed here?

Welcome to the jeep side! I keep habitually waving to jeeps when I'm driving my husband's truck. When they try to figure out if they know me (before we pass each other), I realize I did it again.

They should be listed. I have both those options and they are both listed on VOTS. Better call your dealer and double check things.

I think VOTS is a craps shoot at best. I check VOTS daily and have seen three different spec screens over the last month. Your dealer can give you a copy of what's actually in the system.

Heated seats are standard with Leather, so you should be OK in that respect. The Dual Top Pkg seems to be missing, however; I'd definitely check with the dealer. My VOTS was correct from the beginning, but unfortunately it's also been stuck at "Production Scheduled" for 5 weeks now!

Nice choice on getting Billet w/Saddle leather, by the way!

Hope for those stuck in D1. I've sat there since 8/10/12 on Billet JKU. Yesterday I got an email it was in frame and less than 24 hours later it's in final inspection and shipping tommorow.

Once it gets going, it goes fast.

I have my Vin # and I am in D1. Now I have to contact the dealer and make sure they change the delivery destination to AEV instead of Colorado.

I just contacted my dealer about this, too. He verified that the leather seats come heated.
